Lipsticks have to be one of my biggest weaknesses. I have especially fallen in love with liquid lippies
over the past few years and have quite a few different varieties in my collection of all kinds of shades
and finishes.
This two step collection glide on like buttery silk and together with the moisturising balm attached to
the other end of the doe foot applicator it keeps my lips feeling smooth and soft throughout the whole
day with the colour also lasting the distance.
You gotta love when companies bring out a collection where there is always a shade to suit everyone.
I love these because there is such a great variety of shade suitable for both day and night. Special
event or just slick on before going out to do the shopping!
From deep dark sexy berry and red tones, there is also my signature bright magenta pink as well as
the very 'now' nude shades as well as an understated your lips only better barely there touch of pink.
Available in a total of 8 shades. I currently have these 6. :)
These liquid lipsticks are very affordable as well. You can pick these up currently on sale at Priceline
with 40% off at only $11.37! Also available to purchase at Big W, Coles, Woolworths, Chemist
Warehouse and Target.
Swatches below shades from left to right are -
Dare To Pink / Skinny Dipping / Make Your Move / Little Minx / Play With Fire / Not Guilty
Also available in "I'll Call You" & "Kiss Me You Fool" (Not Shown)
~ PRICELINE MAKE-UP BAG ~ Gift With - (Out?) Purchase!
Join in on the discussion over on Youtube! :)
So, here is the story... basically I explain it all in my un-bagging video above however I will also give you a bit of a run down here. So you are probably wondering why I have titled this as a 'Gift With - (Out?) Purchase!' ?? Well let me explain. It is all innocent I swear!
So nearing toward the end or it may have actually been the very last day of this promotion in store. My husband, kids and I were out on the weekend getting some groceries and a few other odds and ends around our local little shopping centre, and as you do when you just want to get home late on a Sunday arvo with the kids beginning to get tired and cranky we decided to split up. My son (2yrs) and I went to Coles and the hubby and my daughter (4yrs) went to Priceline for totally unrelated fun makeup things! So basically my husband saw the gift bag sitting on the shelf, had a look at it and decided on impulse to surprise me with it. Then had second thoughts and wanted me to be able to come in and pick out the products I wanted just in case he picked some things I already had or didn't like. So after speaking to the lady in the store, she explained it was their last bag and that he could just take it as they were about to close and were apparently just trying to get rid of it! 0_o Yippeeeee! Thank you lady from Priceline! You just made one very tired and worn out mummy very, very happy!! :)
Each year the gift bags that Priceline offer differ slightly. You can check out last year's makeup gift
with purchase bag here. This years bag is about the same size as last years and like last years bag, it
is a lovely girlie pink colour with roses and a gold zip. I really like it, however last years still remains
This has got to be in my opinion one of the best GWP offers I have seen from Priceline or anywhere
else for that matter for quite some time. Usually, even though I would love to buy every single goodie
bag which comes along, I am pretty good at controling myself and keeping my spending habits under
control. I am after all on a strict culling with my Project Pan trying to de-clutter the masses which
have completely taken over every inch of space in my bathroom. Oops!
However, when I saw this GWP advertised I was instantly drawn to the baby pink make-up bag with
the super cute, adorable white & gold bow! Completely and utterly my taste and I knew I simply
could not resist this time. Dammit, I have been SO good, I deserve this treat!
So with Mother's Day just gone, on the lead up I made it clear what I wanted to be gifted. ;)
My hubby was very clever in convincing me he couldn't get it saying he went to Priceline and they
were all sold out. Trying not to get my hopes up I tried not to think too much about it as he had come
home with a beautiful bunch of Tulips (my fav flower) instead.
So I was happy with that. Who doesn't love been given fresh flowers?!
Then Mother's Day morning came and with the four of us in bed (we have a almost 4yr & almost 2yr
old) I was given a massive, stunninly wrapped in pink with silver butterfy tissue paper and clear celo
complete with 2 balloons. One saying 'Happy Mother's Day' the other a bright pink star and two
cards. One from the hubby and one written by my eldest, from her and my youngest. Too cute!
Anyway, needless so say I was so surprised and overwhelmed as this busy SAHM does not get to be
spoilt like this often. So I was very grateful!
On with the goodies!!!
Apparently hubby thinks I have a nail polish obsession or something. Whatever could have given him
that idea? Could be the 1756384,85400 bottles I have which I have absolutely not need/room for?
Thanks for not understanding but loving me enough to buy me 10 bottles more anyway! lol

Once he thought he had stocked up on enough nail polish to last me the century, he told me he didn't
want to just get me nail polish but was lost on what else to get. So the sales assistant at Priceline
lead him over to the Natio stand and recommended these two items.
Natio Mineral Eyeshadow Trio in 'Illuminate' (Buy!) & Natio Heavenly Eyes Mineral Eyeshadow in 'Jade Diva' (Buy!)
Overall, I am so happy with everything, however if I am honest I would have picked out completely
different items for the qualifing $60 spend, but who cares, I love everything and it was so sweet of
him to go shopping by himself in Priceline with no shame and purchase a basket full of cosmetics for
me! (Love him!)

If you're after obedient hair that is easy to manage and style yet is still full of body and looks shiny,
sleek without any fly aways then this is your answer! The new limited edition Evoke range from
VS Sassoon features this gorgeous magenta pink dryer which has a powerful 2000 AC wattage
which makes drying your hair super fast with maximum results, because we're all in a hurry these
days! (At least I know I am!)
You also have complete control when styling as this features two heat settings and two speed
settings to cater for all hair types, thickness and lengths! It comes complete with a concerntrator
nozzle which controls the direction of the air flow in turn blowing the hair more neatly combating
frizz and fly aways and adding shine. The cold shot button which you will find at the top centre
of the handle helps you set your hair/style in place as when the cold air hits warm hair it creates
a setting effect. Pretty clever technology! The matching ceramic styling brush is also very handy
and perfect to assist you whilst drying and styling your hair.
I adore it!
VS Sassoon
Evoke PRO Ceramic Straightener
RRP: $79.95
To give your hair the most perfect, put together, sleek look possible I have been enjoying the
benefits of using this adorable matching pink limited edition Pro Ceramic Straightener after
first drying my hair with the Pro Dryer. The ceramic plates protects my hair as it heats and
completely smooths it all down to give it an extra sleek look as my hair is quite thick and this
makes it feel a whole lot lighter, nicer and much easier to manage especially when worn out
and completely loose as seen here in these photos. :)
The heat settings start at 130 degrees and then go up 155, 180, 205 and the highest heat
setting of 230 degrees. I personally prefer to be a little crazy and start off on the highest
setting of 230 degrees, just because my hair is so long, thick and naturally frizz prone,
and fluffy with too many fly aways so I find that using the hottest heat setting possible
makes doing my hair a nice and fast 10-15 minutes max job and this particular tool
heats up in a matter of seconds so you waste zero time waiting for it to heat up!
Perfect!
Also comes with a heat resistant storage travel clutch!

For the longest time I have probably been committing one of the worst beauty no-no's like ever!
Applying my foundation with my fingers! I know, I know! Even with clean hands I am probably
still spreading a bucket load of bacteria and germs all over my face not to mention trying to
blend out the liquid to an even, flawless finish just doesn't happen using this method.
I have a foundation brush, but it's cheap, nasty and after attempting to use it once, it failed
miserably, shedding hairs sticking to my face and it felt rough and spiky! >_<
So I gave up and have continued to use my fingers ever since. I just haven't gotten around
to finding that perfect brush set. I've heard everyone talk about how super amazing Real Techniques
sets are and they are currently on the verge of popping into my online shopping cart.
In the meantime when I popped into the brand new Mecca Maxima store at my local
shopping centre recently a blindingly hot pink Beauty Blender Sphere immediately caught my eye,
and for $14.95 I thought what the hell, I'm getting this!!
It seems applying and blending out foundation to the skin with a sponge is the thing to do at the
moment. I've seen a vast array of pretty bright colours available and just about every since
beauty blogger, youtuber and magazine beauty article mentioning them. So I figured it worth
trying out and getting a brush later.
Plus how nice of Mecca to wrap everything in pretty baby pink tissue paper!
Love it!
So the verdict? I broke this baby out of it's confinement the day I bought it home and haven't
looked back. I've been using it every time I apply my foundation now. (No more grubby mits!)
And I love it!! It feels sooo soft and nice on my skin and is the easiest thing to use in the world!
It blends out my foundation without leaving any trace, lines or weird shapes. The slightly rounded
tips at each end also make it perfect to blend out more difficult areas like the corners of the nose
and under the eyes. I highly recommend getting one and giving it a go if you haven't already!
What's your foundation application technique?
What applicator tools do you recommend?
Ok, so there are sooo many reasons I HAD to break my 'no spending ban'
(since I already own about 400 lipsticks! Ok so it's more like 40 give or take, but ya know...)
and get this brand new pretty little baby.
1.) It's named after me! ;)
2.) It's my signature hot pink shade!
3.) Like all MAC lipsticks, it smells like vanilla, and you know how I love my vanilla scents!!
4.) Do I really need to justify this purchase anymore? I mean it's pink, it's a lipstick and
I was set loose with my husbands credit card.... who cares! The damage is done and
I couldn't be happier! :D
Last week my sister and I had a rare chance to go shopping together,
(since we have 5 kids between us, we took full advantage of this opportunity!)
and I have to say, it was the most fun I've had in too long honestly!
Here is Brissie, the shopping centre I most frequent had a major facelift recently and I
couldn't wait to check it out! It has basically doubled in size!
I was most excited to check out the brand new MAC store as well as Mecca Maxima,
Myer, Lush (which hadn't opened yet! *cries!* was dying to tick off some things from my
wish list from there! Big mistake Lush big mistake! You snooze, you lose!) and of course
the not so new Forever New store which always makes my eyes pop out of my head every time
I step in there with all of the beauty it contains! *mega drool!*
(Stay tuned for upcoming posts containing more of my purchases!)
CLOSE UP STICKY BEAK!
I barely EVER purchase MAC lippies because I can never justify the $39.00
So this good as gold treasure joins my only other lonely shade. Girl About Town which is a slightly darker, most purply/pink shade.
Also gorgeous and I totally recommend checking it out!
While I was in MAC drooling over all of their amazing lipstick shades, I made
a mental note of which ones I wanted next. Apart from the obvious crazy beautiful purple
(Violetta) which stood out majorly from all the others, St Germain which was a
bubblegum light barbie pink colour caught my eye and I can't stop thinking about it!
I think I am in love with a lipstick! What is wrong with me?!
Oh that's right, I'm a beauty addict! Everything is OK! :D SWATCH!
What are your MAC lippy recommendations?
Tell me below so I can keep dreaming! ;)
