BULK EMPTIES

MEGA BULK EMPTIES!

So I haven't posted an empties in about a year after being so on point each month
for my first two years of blogging! My apologies! Life just keeps getting busier and busier as my
daughter has began school this year and I have finally gone back to work! Still, blogging is my
passion and I will continue to post as often as I can spare a selfish few minutes and indulge in my
guilty pleasure that is makeup, skincare, fashion, decor and anything within those realms.

So here we are with a bulk lot. It's actually two lots of empties all rolled into one as I took these pix
and then haven't had the chance to blog about them in ages! I also have another bin load of empties
sitting under my bathroom sink ready to be photographed for the next empties post I do! Until then
I will keep on adding to it and hopefully post it up when there is a decent amount of things to talk about!

L'Oreal Paris Preference Blonde Platinum x2
Since going back to blonde from my natural dark brown, I decided to try a few different brands and
products to try and get that lovely white shade like on the box, however as always my hair takes forever
to get to that shade and after using this is turned more of a brassy orange and so toner is my new best
friend!

Papulex Soap Free Cleansing Gel
This stuff I decided to use up as I'd had it in my bathroom stash for a few years and as cleansers go,
even cleansing twice a day takes at least a few months to use up and in between trying a bucket load of
other cleansers this one got shoved to the side and forgotten about. Was a good gel cleanser though and
kept my skin nice and clear.

Oral-B Pro Health Toothpaste
This particular toothpaste has been a favourite of mine for over a year now. It's one I keep going
back to and find myself re-purchasing. It has a good taste and I like the way it feels in my mouth.

Palmolive Shampoo & Conditioner Aloe Vera & Fruit Vitamins (Sachets)
It's always difficult to get a well rounded feel for products when it come to trying out a single
sachet. However these were surprisingly generous and gave me a decent amount for a single hair
wash. They had a nice scent about them and made my hair soft.

Colgate Dental Floss
Whenever I try a new dental floss it's either hit or miss. I find some to be too thick and hard to get
between the gaps and others fray and are of poor quality. This little mini is by far one of the best!
So easy to use and cut off the amount you need for each use. It doesn't hurt or cause tension, it
just does the job right and it a good handbag or travel size.

Hi Lift Powder Bleach For Hair
Since lightening my hair again I have been touching up my roots a lot at home with this stuff. This
product is very familiar to me as I used to use it years ago in my early 20's when I first began
bleaching my hair. It is brilliantly strong a lightening my super dark hair. Love it!

Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation (Sample)
Rimmel do fantastic foundations for such an affordable price. I love their formulas and this one is no
exception! This sample was my first taste of the Match Perfection formula and since I accumulated
all these empties up over quite a period of time, I have since finished up two full sized bottles of this
stuff! Highly recommend!

Real-U Lite Moisturiser
Moisturising is something I always
do and this winter has been
especially harsh on my skin. This
moisturiser is so light weight feeling
and really feels as though it soaks in
deeply leaving my skin lovely and
soft.

Good Things Manuka Honey
I love honey in beauty products! The
scent is always so delicious and
calming. Manuka honey is also
delicious to eat and much richer in
colour and taste than regular honey.
This moisturiser is just gorgeous, I
loved it!

Heathcote & Ivory Bath & Body Body Butter
This was a little tub of moisturiser I received in a gift pack at Christmas. It was alright, to be honest,
there wasn't a lot inside the tub and there wasn't really much of a scent at all. Oh well.

Hi Lift Blonde Highlighter Powder Bleach For Hair
This is the same as mentioned above, just in a single use sachet packet. Must've bought this when
I was too poor to buy a big tub. haha!

Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra Comfortable Body Cream
I have used a few Nuxe products before and am liking them the more I use them. This was a lovely
product to use, especially on these cold winter night when I can actually see the scales on my dry
skin. Especially on my legs and the tops of my feet! >_< This sure fixed that!

Dr. Hauschka Rose Nurturing Body Cream
Another brand which is a joy to use. Anything with Rose in it I am going to love. This body cream
didn't last long enough for me in this tiny sachet unfortunately. I like to moisturise head to toe and
this only got as far as my legs. Felt really nice though and didn't feel greasy or slimy like some body
creams tend to do.

V 10 Plus LX Advanced Lifting Cream Treatment
I can't honestly say I saw any difference after using this product. But it seemed nice enough. When
it comes to anti-ageing I'll try just about anything and cross my fingers it's doing something for me.
It can't hurt to try right? Let me know if you've tried this and if it's worth me purchasing it full size
as this is quite a pricey little brand so it had want to be amazing!

Elegant Touch French Manicure #102
I purchased these to treat myself a while ago.
I don't often get my nails done or even have
time to paint them these days honestly. I
bought these because I wanted my nails to
like nice and polished without chipping or
looking messy after a day or two. These
were just your regular french mani. Classic
and easy. I loved them!

Woolworths Select Acetone-Free Nail Polish Remover
Nothing fancy here. Cheap and gets the job
done without fuss. No issues with this at all.
Have re-purchased many times.

Dove Beauty Cream Bar x 2
Used this a billion times before and will continue to do so. Dove is so well known with a great
reputation for it's hydration and creamy quality. It's like a soap and moisturiser in one. Almost.
I do still moisturiser afterwards, however if you're someone who isn't into lathering up on the cream
but don't like having dry skin, then switching over to a moisturising soap like this one would be a
great idea!

Palmolive Foaming Fig & Coconut Hand Wash
What an inspiring and unique scent this one was! I have never smelt fig and coconut together before
and let me tell you it is good! The sweet fig is mellowed out slightly with the cream coconut and
together they just seem to balance each other out really well! So foamy and fresh, I loved this!

MOR Pepperberry & Pomegranate Hand & Body Wash
I loved the skinny pump on this bottle as it made me use less each time and in turn made it last
much longer. This was a delicious yummy scent, sweet and a little zesty at the same time. MOR is
such a beautiful brand and their packaging always adds a touch of elegance and luxe to my bathroom.

Lush FUN Monsters & Aliens
This only lasted about a week! I got this for my toddlers to use in the bath for something new and fun
and they LOVED it! They loved the bright colours, the pretty smell of it and how it made colourful
suds when they washed themselves with it. It was also great to play with moulding into endless
shapes and things. Highly recommended if you have kids to bath. It'll keep them from getting bored
and fighting with each other, at least for a few minutes!

Puretopia Gentle Exfoliating Face Scrub
Loved this scrub. You can read my full review on it here. Not too harsh or gentle, kept my skin clear
and looking and feeling fresh. Such a lovely brand I recommend checking out if you get the chance.

Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Scrub
Have also fully reviewed this product over here. This scrub is amazing, honestly I really loved this
and it lasted ages! (This was also my second tube!) Great at keeping zits under control and smelt
yum!

I purchased this glue in a rush one day as I realised annoyingly that my regular lash glue, (You know
the teeny tiny bottle you get in the box with your falsies?) had completely dried up before I'd even
ever opened or used it! Figured there had to be something bigger and better I could use, and found
this one for a reasonable price compared to the others around it on the shelf. Works pretty well, no
complaints, gets the job done and that's all I really care about at the end of the day.

This spot treatment reminded me as being really similar to the Garnier one which I have used and
loved for years! This lasted me forever because you seriously only need to use the tiniest amount
to cover your spot and it also tightens your pores! When I felt like my skin was looking a bit yuk and
my pores were too big I would apply a thin layer of this all over my face and sleep with it on over
night as you would with a night serum. Upon waking up in the morning my zits were almost gone
and my pores were definitely smaller!

Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek Leave in Hair Moisturiser
This is one of those products I found in the back of my cupboard when I was packing to move back
late last year! God knows how long it was hiding away there but I have since made sure to use it up
quickly! It was ok, not anything major to rave about. But I always put some kind of hair treatment
in at least weekly so I'm not too fussed about the brand or anything. I just use anything and hope for
the best! Had a pretty smell though.

Speaking of scents, now this shampoo is delicious and smells just like green apple! I actually really
liked this shampoo, it's just a shame I am not a fan of the pretty basic boring packaging. The hubby is
more inclined to use this brand than me as it also helps with his flakey, dry scalp.

Have you tried any of the above products?
How many empties have you been through lately?

SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES

~ September Favourites! ~

Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk
With it already hitting up to 30 degrees most days here in Qld,
hiding in my jeans is no longer a comfortable option, so the shorts and
skirts are in and my bare legs have been gradually getting a makeover!

Scunci Expandable Headbands
I've never seen this style of headband before.
I love how handy these are to have in your pocket, handbag,
car, etc ready at a moments notice without having to stress about
having a large on snapping. These fold up small and compact so easily!

Sukin Treatment Oil
This has done wonders on some of my acne scaring on my face.
I also like to use this to help with my stretched out gut from having
two beautiful bundles of joy whom I adore, the skin all over my torso,
however sure ain't how it used to be!

Rediscovered old, old favourite!
I'd completely forgotten I had this, but upon sorting
through my beauty products into sections, (ie, all makeup removers
together!) I begun using this all over again and have no idea why I ever
stopped. I love the foam texture, it's awesome!

Velvet Goats Milk Beauty Bar
A newly discovered product this month, goats milk has
me embracing soap in the shower again! Makes my skin feel
lovely and soft. I've been totally into this using it everyday!

Maybelline Colorshow Street Artist Top Coat in White Splatter
A surprise gift bought home from hubby recently,
I instantly feel in love with this the moment I laid eyes on it!
The colour and mixed mash of different textures is so pretty
and creates an awesome effect on your nails.

OPI Nail Lacquer in Hey Baby
Recently received this in my The Parcel subscription box.
Such a signature shade of mine. (Magenta pink) I can't seem to
shake it. After finding space for this on my polish rack, it was obvious
and a little eye opening to me to realize over half of all of my OPI's
are some shade of pink! What can I say? I'm a girlie girl! :)

SEPTEMBER EMPTIES

Another month successfully completed & another lot of products to hit the bin!
Whoohoo! As much as I enjoy each and every product, I can't help but get
excited when I finish one off because it means I can get stuck into
something new! :)

Below is an overview of the products I managed to use up last month.
I mixed batch. Those 2 big bottles of moisturiser were my greatest
achievements!  They're hard work to get through, but my skin is
thanking me. Being Spring and quickly becoming hotter and hotter,
it's nice to have soft, smooth and moisturised skin to show off a little bit.
;)

My old one had had enough and I was through my refills, so I opened up a
new one. Although, I've recently received a different razor to use which I
will be reviewing within the coming weeks, so I've put this one away for a while.

Nivea Body Smooth Care Lotion
Loved this!
The consistency was perfect.
It was white and creamy and smooth.
Did a fantastic job! Perfect product!

R+H Honeycomb & Yoghurt Hydrating Body Lotion
This was a product I was happy to see go.
It was nice enough. I'm not familiar with the brand and have no
idea where it came from or how long I've been hoarding it!
The pump was great and it did a good job.
Another big bottle done & dusted! Yay!

Fantastic deodorant, works amazingly well in all situations.
Smells awesome and lasted a good while.
Would recommend going out & picking one of these up!

Kleenex Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Wipes
(Sample)
Received these from PinchMe.
They are a great multiuse item.
Perfect for my handbag for messy kids hands and faces
as well as quick clean ups around the house or car.

Mario Badescu Skincare Seaweed Cleansing Soap
(Sample)
Was a little weird.
It didn't foam up at all and I'm not sure it did much cleansing
or anything. Was a pretty green colour though and the smell
was nice. Different, I wouldn't purchase this though, just not for me.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel
(Sample)
This was quite nice! I really liked how nice it felt on my skin.
Absorbed quickly and kept my skin looking supple.

Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm
I've had this far too long and it's finally completely empty!
I hated having it just sitting there with only a small amount left in it.
So last month I worked hard making sure it used the last of it up by wearing
it as often as I remembered, everyday, reapplying when needed.
It gives your lips a lovely red tint which I love for a natural bitten lip look.

Trilogy Instant Bronzing Gel
(Sample)
Ah, this product I want to buy!
Omg, such a beautiful shimmery tint! I used this on my super pale legs
since I've started to wear short and skirts lately with the weather warming up
and it it such a beautiful formula. A buildable light shade which makes your skin
look dewy and golden, plus it smells delicious!!!

L'Oréal Paris Ever Pure Moisture Leave-In Conditioner
(Sample)
I usually love L'Oréal products, but this one just made my hair
greasy, fast! It says to focus just on the ends, so maybe I applied
too much, but it just didn't work for me.

Arbonne Cellular Renewal Masque
(Sample)
Even though this mask warns you of a possible tingling sensation,
and keeping in mind my skin is pretty tough and rarely ever reacts negatively to a product,
unfortunately it did with this one. My skin just felt hot and like it
was on fire! Sad because Arbonne products are generally quite gentle
and in my experience feel amazing on my skin.

Eulactol Cuticle & Nail Cream
(Sample)
A small satchet like this, even to if it's only 1g, took me
ages to use because of only applying it to such a small area.
It was super nice though, I'd buy this.

And, that's a wrap! :)
Let me know you've posted about your empties for the past month,
I'd love to check them out!

JUNE FAVS

~ JUNE FAVOURITES ~

2014

L'Oreal Paris Nail Polish in White Gold
I picked this up from Priceline recently and omg, the colour is full on GLITTER!!!
No sparse spots or crappy clear application, this glitter goes on with a full completed coat
of white gold glitter with just ONE coat! Looks so beautiful, watch out for a NOTD post featuring
this baby coming soon! :)

Bloom Black Liquid Eyeliner
I can't live without liquid eyeliner. So when I recently used up
all of my Rimmel one, I came back to this one which I had only used
a few times. I love this because the tip as you can see is nice and thin
which makes for a more controlled application. It hasn't dried out in the
slightest and I just love the packaging. Super cute!

Love this, it is so so yummy! The smell reminds me of a caramel/vanilla
fudge lolly or something similar. Such a massive bottle I sure hope I don't tire
of it too quickly! Lathers up so beautifully and feels so soft and smooth on my skin.

Shampoo & Conditioner
No matter what I do or what products I use, my hair always tends to be dry and frankly
a pain in the ass. So I am always using moisturising products and products that promise
to d-frizz my hair. The fact that I heat iron the crap out of it on the hottest setting I can
possible get to probably doesn't help the situation, but that's just the way I roll.
A hotter setting means I get the job done quicker and I don't have time to be standing
around straightening my hair for hours on end in a low setting just to make my hair a
bit less dry. There are products like these below to fix me breaking all the rules of hair care!

VS Sassoon Curl Secret
Speaking of hot hair tools, I've been in love with my Curl Secret again lately.
For something a bit different than the regular boring straight hair I normally sport,
I've been trying to get that Victoria's Secret type of curl since my hair has become super
long lately. Out of all of my other curling tools, this is working the best to create the look
I'm going for. I might do a hair tutorial soon. Is that something you'd like to see? Let me know! :)

Watch My Curl Secret Demo Below!

I love everything about this lipstick!
The colour is the perfect pink. Wearable to go with everything, everyday.
The packaging is beautiful rose gold and very funky in design.
I just can't get enough. Has become my go-to lip product!

I seem to have been into a lot of hair products this month.
This is great because, well, my hair is a pretty big part of my life and my overall
appearance. Being long, it needs a lot of work and to have great products to help me out
makes my life so much easier! This brush has made brushing a much more pleasant
experience. It somehow manages to get all of my tangles loose without me having to
tug or pull at my hair. It does the job quickly and painlessly! My three year old has been
using the kids version of this and loves it too. They come in fun colours and I love that
I don't have to feel so guilty about brushing my hair when it's wet because these are designed
that you can actually do that without damaging your hair because of the way the bristles are
laid out on the brush head.

JUNE EMPTIES

~ JUNE EMPTIES ~

2014

Seems so strange to already be saying goodbye to half the year!
Is it just me, or do the months fly by faster and faster?

Anyhow, after doing these empties posts for a few months now,
I have finally restrained myself into keeping all of my empties until
the end of the month instead of taking a photo and then throwing them out
straight away so I can make a collective photo of everything all together.
I think it looks better this way because I can sit back and see how much
I've achieved in using up throughout the month and even though it doesn't
look like much, it really is a lot of work to work through all these!

Dove Face Care Toner
I've found using toners do a great job at removing any excess
makeup and making my pores close up tighter so I've really enjoyed using
this bottle up. Dove products are gentle on your skin too which is nice, so
no stinging like some toners tend to do.

Dove Beauty Cream Bar
I love using this soap both for hand washing and also handy to have in the
shower as well. Non drying and lashes up into a super soft foam.

Rimmel GlamEyes Liquid Eyeliner
My favourite kind of eyeliner.
Liquid, black and with a super fine application brush.
I'll be keeping the brush to use for nail art as it is perfect for drawing
small designs or applying small arty objects.

ModelCo Lashxtend Lengthening Mascara
Sad to see this one go. Makes my lashes twice as long!
Definitely a lengthening mascara. Keeps lashes thin but makes
it look like you have millions of them! Love the look it gives.

Amele Smooth Intimate Shave Sample
A clear gel, works nicely and smells good too.

Britney Spears RollerBall & Perfume Duo
Had this for far too long! Used up the gloss end centuries ago!
Noticed there was only a small amount left in the perfume roller ball,
so quickly finished it up this month.

Garnier Olia After Colour Care Conditioner
This came in my box of hair dye I used early in the month.
LOVE it! Made such a difference to how my hair felt and how
shiny and soft and sleek it looked.

Pure Zone Foot Therapy Foot Cream
Found this in the back of one of my bathroom draws and
thought it was the perfect time to use it up as I've been wearing socks
to bed and around the house lately with it getting so cold.
So this has helped the product really sink in and give my feet a little TLC.

Schick Hydro Silk Razor Refill Blade
I think I mention one of these in just about all of my empties posts.
Still love it.  I have a new razor I'm keep to crack open soon,
but I want to try to use all of my blades for this razor up first.
Watch my video review below! :)

So eight products plus one sample isn't too bad!
Hopefully I can beat that next month.
I still have plenty to work through!
