Tanning & Makeup Review!

It's that time of the year again when the sun shines a little brighter, the breeze feels a little warmer
and our clothes become a little.... well little! With that for a lot of us comes the desire to appear like
we have just come home from a Summer holiday somewhere exotic. For me, I love to tan because it
gives the illusion that my body is more toned, slimmer and healthier looking than it actually is!

I do suffer from varicose veins and cellulite on my legs and having a good tan on me seems to hide
and disguise these flaws quite a bit. I never, ever sun bake for real. I am extremely sun conscious
and only ever fake my bake all the way! With so many amazing products just like these ones
which are so affordable and readily available it makes being able to achieve this so easy!

Today, because I am such a fan of this brand and truly believe in these products I am going to chat to
you about them! So let's go!

Vani-T Brazilian Bronze Self Tan Mousse (125ml)

There is no mistaking Vani-T's magenta pink and silver metallic packaging! It is very much my style
and this pump style bottle is so easy to use and doesn't get all drippy and messy at all! The deep
brown formula comes out in a light foam consistency and applied to the mitt then onto the skin
gently and evenly leaving a light caramel toasty layer which deepens in shade within just one hour
before washing off. Can be left on to develop a deeper tan if desired.

The formula is both hydrating, anti-ageing and dries almost instantly!
Some key ingredients include - Vitamins A & E, Certified organic Aloe Vera extract and Kakadu

Vani-T Body Shampoo (200ml)

This vanillary scented and generously sized body wash is by far one of the nicest I have used in quite
a while! The metallic pink and silver packaging is so eye catching and pretty! I really love how it
looks in my shower waiting for me each morning and night. I just love using it!

The formula is a magical shimmering light golden liquid which makes me feel like a bit of
a fairy queen. Made with natural and organic ingredients which not only cleanse, but hydrate, build
collagen and renew the skin. It is also anti-ageing, full of antioxidants and sulphate free! - $20.95

Vani-T Bronzing Mitt

I have to admit when it comes to tanning, I can't always be bothered to use a tanning mitt. However
when I do you can really see the difference it makes when it comes to how my tan application turns
out. A bronzing mitt not only saves your hands from turning orange or deep brown, it is less mess
and applies a more even, streak free and better looking tan!

This mitt is made from polyester microfibre and can be simply rinsed out and used over and over
again. You can really tell it has been made with quality materials as the mitt is nice and thick and
feels strong and not likely to just fall apart which has happened to me in the past! - $11.95

Vani-T Lipstick - La Femme 3.5g
Vani-T also offer a range of mineral makeup and beauty tools including some incredibly beautiful floating crystal makeup brushes! This like other makeup by the brand is housed in the most eye
catching lipstick case I have ever seen! I am loving that this lippy shade is a great everyday colour!
It has a lovely satin finish and sheen to it which feels soft and moisturising to the lips.

REAL-U

Going through my teens, like most I suffered from acne. It all began at age 11 and since then has
been an on off relationship which I just can't seem to break away from. Even heading into my mid
thirties! I wouldn't have though I'd still be suffering from breakouts at this age, but yep, it still
happens, thankfully nowhere near as bad as when I was a teen, however still just as un-welcome and
annoying!

Recently I have been using Real-U products as my main source in my everyday routine. They are
Australian and not just for teens as my skin has been benefiting from their range too! :)
The three products I have been using twice daily are these ones below which I will talk about more,
but if you're interested in the details of each product you can check out my image below of the back
of each product. All of their products are hypo-allergenic, free from harsh ingredients such as ones I
have been guilty of using in the past including benzoyl peroxide ad salicylic acid.

CLEANSE - Gentle Foaming Wash!
The first product I want to chat to you about is Real-U's Gentle Foaming Wash. This is the first step
in my new routine which I start with each morning when I wake up. You can really feel the difference
when you use use this product especially afterwards when drying your face. The ph balanced formula
which also contains Aloe Vera keeps your skin at a healthy moisture balance, so it cleanses without
drying whilst still being effective at removing the excess oil, dirt and built up polluteons from the air
which has a tendency to stick deep into the pores making them look black, large and gross! Like with
most cleansers you just add a splash of water to get the cleanser foaming up ready to work onto your
face. Rinse well and pat dry.

CONTROL + Face Gel!
This next step is interesting to me because normally I would use a toner now before moisturising.
So to use a Face Gel (similar to a Serum) was quite cool for a change and might I add very effective!
This Gel is specifically formulated for non teenage skin (that's me!) which still breaks out or is just
persistently naughty! I have used a product like this in the past and I don't know why I ever stopped
because to me, I feel like this product was the most beneficial to my skin when it came to killing my
nasty monthly spots. I especially noticed a big difference first thing in the morning after applying this
at night after a few days. My skin had really calmed down considerably!

HYDRATE - Lite Moisturiser!
I am actually not opposed to a thick, heavy moisturiser especially for a night cream. However this
Lite Moisturiser is perfect is you skin is normally extra greasy or oily and the last thing you want to
do is add even more moisture to it making you feel like a shiny egg. This moisturiser feels so very
light on your skin and it soaked right in that I even considered applying it again on a few occasions to
make sure I was really getting enough! This product is awesome because after applying I can go
straight onto starting my makeup routine without having to wait for my skin to dry and at night I can
go right to bed without feeling like my moisturiser is going to transfer onto my pillow.

How cute are the little Control+ Face Gel samples? Adorable! If you want to try anything from the
range this is the one I recommend the most and for just the cost of postage ($5) you can't go wrong!

Real-U is a thoughtful brand who really just want the 'Real You!' as the name suggests to shine and
have the confidence to be yourself without having acne holding you back from living your fullest life.

This is a topic I think most people male and female can relate to at some point in their lives and it
definitely rings true to me. I highly recommend these products since using them over the past month.
I only wish I'd known about them sooner especially when I was in my awkward teen years and when
I was very shy and my acne was just killing my confidence and making it worse.

SUPER CREAMY BODY WASH!

You know that feeling when you accidently knock one of you fav body washes off the shelf in
the shower and of course it cracks and starts to ooze out all over the tiles turing into a massive bubbly
shower of ...fun? Weeeelll, that may have just happened to me recently so of course I needed
something to replace it and amongst the vast array of choices in my bathroom cupboard, this one
stood out as looking particularly delightful with is aquatic ice blue and royal gold packaging!

When it comes to the scent of a body wash, that is pretty important to me since we are going to be
spending quite a bit of time together. This Argan+ 5 super creamy body wash smells so creamy and
contains a blend of Moroccan Argan Oil, Baobab, Kukui, Moringa and Sacha Inci and lathers up
into a velvety, fluffy blanket of bubbles which is a treat in itself to lather up in.

The amount of product you see in my hand below is really all that you need to lather up per wash.
It generously distributes that far, so this 200ml bottle is sure to last quite some time! :)

Moroccan Argan Oil seems to be huge in both hair and body care at the moment.
