When it comes to my husband, our skin types couldn't be any more different! My skin is pretty
tough. It can take pretty much any kind of product, natural, organic or not and I will never break
out, get a rash or itch or anything like that. He on the other hand has quite sensitive, dry and fair
skin. So I don't really blame him for being a bit fussy when it comes to his manly products and he
pretty much just sticks to what he knows and what works for him. Completely fair enough!

That's not to say I don't try to sway him here and there with other products I come across from time to
time like these German manly skincare products by Speick which has specifically perfect for if you
have dry and sensitive skin made with a range of natural ingredients including Speick plant extract!

Speick Men Active Shampoo
With ingredients like caffeine from guarana in it this product is sure to wake you up in the morning!
Not only that, these products also help to strengthen the hair naturally. Other ingredients also include
fair trade argon oil to give the hair shine. Other plant oils in this product moisturise a dry scalp which
prevents dead skin build up and irritation.

This 150ml tube like all Speick products are made in their home factory in Germany and contain no
synthetic fragrances, colours, silicons, parabens and mineral oil based ingredients.

Speick Men Rasier Creme (Shaving Cream)
Interesting fact about the Speick plant used in these products. It is said to be both calming and
stimulating at the same time which I think is amazing and a great benefit at the same time. To be
able to relax the body whilst still keeping it alert and revitalised is just amazing to me!

In saying that this shaving cream also contains a soothing boost of lavender which we all know is
known to also be calming and relaxing to the body. This cream has a gorgeous natural scent to it and
appears as a white pearlescent texture which when applied to the skin and rubbed in forms a nice soft
creamy thick layer ready for shaving. I have used this myself on my underarms and legs and found it
to leave my skin beautifully smooth and somehow give a closer shave than usual. I love how I smell
afterwards! Think I may just keep this one on my half of the shower... ;)

Speick Men Active Intensiv Creme (Intensive Cream) 50ml
This intensive cream is a protective daily moisturiser for the face. With ingredients including the
obvious Speick plant as well as Aloe Vera gel, Shea Butter and natural Q10, this cream is also perfect
 to use after shaving to calm and soothe the skin.

The white cream is naturally scented and smells divine! Speick products are both dermatologically

If it comes in Rose Gold I'll take it! That seems to be the thing with me lately. It used to be anything
Pink and I'd be sold, however growing up and becoming more of a mature woman over the past few
years has me noticing everything in my house (minus my little 5yr old girls room) is becoming a
whole lot more neutral and a whole lot less pink! I am really loving the white clean and crisp feel to
the new house we've recently just moved into and my decor is reflecting that. Everything is white,

When it comes to haircare products, I mainly stick to the popular well known budget brands. This is
probably because I am on a mummy budget and luxuries like spending hours on end in hair salons
has long become a thing of the past.

Every now and again a different kind of brand comes along which is completely refreshing, new and
different. This modern brand with it's geometric shaped logo and simplistic packaging is all Aussie
and their website and social media give off that strong laid back, holiday beach vibe. Who doesn't
love that! Sounds relaxing right? I love the whole theme as my hair always needs relaxing and feels
beach dried! Since using this new product range over the past few months my hair looks as though
it has had a bit of a holiday pampering.

Now for the rest of me.... !



M a k e  Hydrated Shampoo

Hydration and moisturise are two words you'd see a lot of if you dare looked into my bathroom
cabinet. These are the kinds of specialities I lean toward when shopping up on hair products.

This slim 375ml bottle is packed full of natural wheat and silk proteins which work to deeply nourish
 hair and bring it back to life. The formula itself lathers up nicely without having to use a massive
amount which I tend to do usually if I find a product not lathering as then I don't feel as though it is
really washing all that oil off the top of my head!

Since using this with other nourishing products from the brand below, my hair is stronger, smoother,
softer, shinier and doesn't smell half bad either!

Now I am just dying to discover the conditioner from the range to complete my  M a k e  collection.


M a k e Sleek Cream

This Sleek Cream is a rich leave in protein treatment for stressed, worn out and split end hair.

I like this kind of versatile product because I can use it whenever I want no matter if my hair is wet
or dry. No need to think about it, just whenever you feel your hair needs some extra TLC, is feeling
dry or sad you can just work a little bit of this through your hair or even just your ends any time of
the day. This will gives a quick long lasting shot of nourishing protein into your hair follicles
instantly making your hair feel smoother, moisturised and smelling fresh!


M a k e Salty Spray

Growing up on the beaches of FNQ, using this kind of product takes me back to days walking my
dogs along the beaches with crystal clear waters and sand between my toes. Living nowhere near a
beach now a days I really miss it when I think about it! Back then beach hair was my everyday
hairstyle. No product required!

Fast forward about 15 years and to achieve that same look and feel requires a little help from some
great smelling, texturising spray form hair liquid!

Just a few sprays of this throughout my hair and scrunching it through with my hands does the trick
in about one minute. To get even more volume and killer waves the trick is to bend over and throw all your hair over your head then spray the product through and scrunch whilst up-side-down.

It's that time of the year again when the sun shines a little brighter, the breeze feels a little warmer
and our clothes become a little.... well little! With that for a lot of us comes the desire to appear like
we have just come home from a Summer holiday somewhere exotic. For me, I love to tan because it
gives the illusion that my body is more toned, slimmer and healthier looking than it actually is!

I do suffer from varicose veins and cellulite on my legs and having a good tan on me seems to hide
and disguise these flaws quite a bit. I never, ever sun bake for real. I am extremely sun conscious
and only ever fake my bake all the way! With so many amazing products just like these ones
which are so affordable and readily available it makes being able to achieve this so easy!

Today, because I am such a fan of this brand and truly believe in these products I am going to chat to
you about them! So let's go!


There is no mistaking Vani-T's magenta pink and silver metallic packaging! It is very much my style
and this pump style bottle is so easy to use and doesn't get all drippy and messy at all! The deep
brown formula comes out in a light foam consistency and applied to the mitt then onto the skin
gently and evenly leaving a light caramel toasty layer which deepens in shade within just one hour
before washing off. Can be left on to develop a deeper tan if desired.

The formula is both hydrating, anti-ageing and dries almost instantly!
Some key ingredients include - Vitamins A & E, Certified organic Aloe Vera extract and Kakadu

This vanillary scented and generously sized body wash is by far one of the nicest I have used in quite
a while! The metallic pink and silver packaging is so eye catching and pretty! I really love how it
looks in my shower waiting for me each morning and night. I just love using it!

The formula is a magical shimmering light golden liquid which makes me feel like a bit of
a fairy queen. Made with natural and organic ingredients which not only cleanse, but hydrate, build
collagen and renew the skin. It is also anti-ageing, full of antioxidants and sulphate free! - $20.95




I have to admit when it comes to tanning, I can't always be bothered to use a tanning mitt. However
when I do you can really see the difference it makes when it comes to how my tan application turns
out. A bronzing mitt not only saves your hands from turning orange or deep brown, it is less mess
and applies a more even, streak free and better looking tan!

This mitt is made from polyester microfibre and can be simply rinsed out and used over and over
again. You can really tell it has been made with quality materials as the mitt is nice and thick and
feels strong and not likely to just fall apart which has happened to me in the past! - $11.95


Vani-T Lipstick - La Femme 3.5g
Vani-T also offer a range of mineral makeup and beauty tools including some incredibly beautiful floating crystal makeup brushes! This like other makeup by the brand is housed in the most eye
catching lipstick case I have ever seen! I am loving that this lippy shade is a great everyday colour!
It has a lovely satin finish and sheen to it which feels soft and moisturising to the lips.

Shampoo

I have long colour lightened hair which needs extra TLC so using a nourishing, effective shampoo and conditioner duo is quite an important and necessary part of my weekly hair routine. Over the past few weeks I have only been using this pair three times a week with satisfying results.

Even though these are made for 'Normal Hair' types and my hair is more oily at the roots and dryer toward the ends, I thought it did a great job at keeping that happy medium following the days after washing. My hair felt more even in texture and in regards to moisture levels, not being at all oily on my scalp or as dry toward my ends which was a welcome and noticeable change! 

I have always had a soft spot for Aloe Vera and have a stack of it sprouting out all over my little garden so to welcome that scent into my hair was lovely and refreshing. The subtle scent lingering after washing the following day. 

Standard, fuss free, easy to use packaging with attractive colours and image on the front.
Competitively priced and great value for money, I recommend everyone giving these a try!

Conditioner 

Using this conditioner together with the Active Nourishment shampoo, I found this duo worked well together as a pair. The conditioner was easy to use and distribute evenly throughout my hair whilst I showered allowing any knotty bits to untangle easily and become smooth. 

The scent smells identical to the shampoo and doesn't over power your nose so you can still breath easy through the steam as you shower.

Easy to use tube which unmistakably matches it's twin the Palmolive Naturals Aloe Vera & Fruit Vitamins shampoo. 

Recommended to families of all ages and hair types. If it can work on my temperamental hair which can't work out weather it wants to be oily or dry, then what do you have to lose? :)

Suigo Vital Nutrition Intensive Hair Repair Treatment
When it comes to hair repair treatments I really just can't get enough. It is up there with one of my
favourite things to do when it comes to treating myself when I get the little bit of extra 'me time.'

This thick, white formula is lightly fragranced with a fresh and light fragrance which is lingering 
with an air of perfume hours after using it. My hair has definitely benefited from it because I can 
really feel the difference in how soft and smooth it is as well as seeing less breakage after using my
hair brush.

Suigo Vital Nutrition Shampoo
Even though I only had the opportunity to try out the Suigo Shampoo & Conditioner in the 30ml
sample size tubes, I was able to get three washes from each which I feel like is just enough to be able
to give my opinion on how they worked for me. 

Again, the scent of these are light and quite refreshing as fragrance from them don't irritate my nose 
as I breathe them in deeply during my shower. The formula was white and a good consistency which
was easy to use and not too runny. It lathered up well into my hair and gave it that satisfying clean
feeling. I feel like this product in conjunction with using both the Suigo Treatment and Conditioner
has helped make a positive difference in my hair's overall health. 

Suigo Vital Nutrition Conditioner
If this wasn't labeled as a conditioner, I could easily mistake it for a hair treatment as the formula is
quite a bit thicker than my other conditioners on the rotation at the moment. To me, this is a good sign
as usually with this kind of product, the thicker the better when it comes to deeply nourishing my
hair.

I couldn't live without conditioning my hair as it does so many things. Smoothing, detangling, 
moisturising and of course treating and repairing it. This does all of the above and on a higher end
of the scale in my opinion. Definitely worth the premium price tag if you hair is in need of some 
serious love!

When you have long, dry and damaged hair like mine you want to invest in a good

I maintain the natural colour of my hair by running a permanent dye through it every few months
to help fight the ever so persistent greys that keep on popping up, creating way too many bad hair
days! So to be able to use this product which is designed to help with the damage that can be caused
from colouring and styling your hair is perfect for me! It contains wheat starch and proteins which
strengthen the hair whilst making it all nice and silky and shiny! Then the array of flower and
seed oils such as sunflower, lime and grapefruit give it it's incredible scent, moisture and colour
protection.

Use as you would any normal conditioner working it through the bottom half of your hair
and then thoroughly rinsing it out or you can leave it in for as long as 15 minutes to really
let the ingredients soak into your hair and drink them up, maximising the overall result this
range of products gives to your hair.

With Summer fast approaching my hair needs to go and sit over in the naughty
corner and have a stern talking to and some serious discipline!
Whenever it becomes humid, with even the slightest amount of moisture in the air,
my hair goes manic and it becomes a nightmare to control. >_<

So it seems this new Discipline haircare range has come into my life at the most perfect time!
My hair has now been fully disciplined!
 How lucky for those unruly, cheeky little, drive me crazy strands!


Bain Fluidealiste
Smooth In Motion Shampoo

This very pretty, pretty, shiny rose gold and peach packaging has me totally sucked in and
drooling from first glance! It just looks sooo....oh what's the word - expensive & luxe!
No joke, it even smells expensive & completely salon luxe! It doesn't even stop there,
just wait until you use this stuff. (and seriously you like totally will because after reading my
review of this entire range you will be completely sold! ha!) ;)

It feels so nice to massage into my crazy, kid, play doh, glue, grass, mud and god knows 
what else gets up in there from day to day smelling hair that my kids put in it with their grubby
mitts! To be able to unwind with a hair pampering like this after my usual crazy day is just bliss!

Fondant Fluidealiste
Smooth In Motion Care 
RRP: $48 (200ml)
We all know one is not complete without the other, and the above Bain Fluidealiste's sister is this
Fondant Fluidealiste which picks up where the Bain leaves off giving your hair instant strength and
smoothness as it soaks in and detangles.

It says to use this on towel dried hair and leave in for 1-2 minutes but I just use this whilst I'm still
showering. I squeeze out as much water as I can from my hair and then apply a generous
 coating of this down the bottom end of my hair beginning from around where my ears
 are and working the product down toward the ends. Once I've detangled my hair, this usually 
takes me a good few minutes because I have so much of it, the product has been left in
 long enough and then I thoroughly rinse it out.

Maskeratine
Smooth In motion Masque
RRP: $60 (200ml)
This stuff is the icing on a very luxurious hair cake! :)
The rich, thick, white texture is so creamy and smells totally a-maze!
Seriously, a relaxing treatment masque that doesn't feel heavy or like it's weighing my hair down
as it rests in there soaking into every strand is exactly the kind of pampering I love to indulge in!
(Not to mention quite hard to find!)

In conjunction with using both the Bain Fluidealiste and Fondant Fluidealiste together with this
Maskeratine, collectively they are creating hair magic! The difference in my hair overall is obvious!
The frizz and annoying static has gone away and instead I am left with smooth, soft, shiny, 
deeply moisturised, lust worthy angelic looking hair!! Oooh!
