NATURAL SOAP

~  HARVEST GARDEN  ~

Cold Pressed Soaps!

 Honey & Oatmeal
Out of all of these four soaps I have been using from Harvest Garden I am beginning with this one
here because it just happens to be my fav. I have always been a massive fan of honey scented
products and I am particularly fond of using soaps which contain them for not only the gorgeous
smell but also all of the amazing benefits it provides to your skin including, moisturising, healing,
calming and even reducing pore size! (Yes please!). The added oatmeal in this soap gently exfoliates
the skin, together with the honey this simple, effective duo is so effective yet still so gentle it is even
suitable for use on both babies and older skin types. Can be used both as a body and/or facial cleanser.

Ingredients include - Sweet Almond Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Coconut Oil,
Beeswax, Lye, Ground Oatmeal & Honey. All 100% Natural and NO PALM OIL! 130gm - $7.00

Lavender with Washed Australian Blue Clay
Even though Lavender has never been my first choice of fragrance, I cannot deny the absolute
beneficial gifts the scent of Lavender gives to my overall wellbeing and state of mind.
Not a topic I like to openly share and delve into being that I try really hard to keep on the positive
and optimistic side of life, I do however suffer like most from stress and anxiety every single day so
to indulge in a beautiful Aussie luxe cold pressed soap like this one containing the very ingredient
which helps to ease these feelings is one I have leaned to appreciate and embrace. FYI - Lavender is
also great for sufferers of depression, insomnia, headaches, digestive issues and skin problems such
as inflammation.

Ingredients include -Sweet Almond Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Coconut
Oil, Washed Australian Blue Clay & Lavender Essential Oils. 130gm - $7.00

Lemongrass Olive Leaf Extract & Ground Flaxseed with Turmeric
This is a soap both the hubby and I have been sharing as it contains ingredients which benefit us both
in different ways. He loves the scent of Lemongrass, however I am more impressed by it's skin and
muscle toning abilities. I don't exactly have the time to take to go the the gym or exercise, so I am
more than happy to have a little helping hand to make my skin more toned by nature and by doing
it my way. i.e Taking a shower, rather than hitting the gym. :)

My husband suffers from quite a bit of muscular pain and the Lemongrass in this soap has been great
at easing a bit of the pain. That together with the Olive Leaf Extract, Ground Flaxseed & Turmeric
which also have a ton of great skin and body benefits including cellular regeneration, anti-inflamitary,
and healing properties. The aroma this soap also gives is absolutely divine and fills my whole bathroom with a magical relaxing scent. 130gm - $7.00

Rose Geranium, Patchouli & Lavender with Australian Red Clay
I can honestly not recommend checking out these Harvest Garden soaps enough. Really, there is
a soap (or several in my case) to suit everyone and their skin type, concerns and needs. I have found
great benefits in all four I have been using here and I love the thought of my soap not just cleansing
my body but also doing a number of other things which are helpful, nourishing and healthy for my
body. This particular blend of Rose Geranium Patchouli, Lavender, Australian Red Clay, Sweet
Almond Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Coconut Oil, Lye & Beeswax also smalls
so incredibly pretty, lathers up beautifully and has a calming, relaxing and uplifting effect from the
Rose Geranium and Lavender as well as aiding in skin renewal and healing bruises, burns, sunburnt
skin, varicose veins (god I hate those things, got loads of those), broken capillaries, stretch marks,
rosacea and even those who have had chemo-therapy, the Australian Red Clay is said to be rich in
iron and essential minerals which have been used for centuries to aid in regenerating new and healthy
skin! Amazing, I am so glad to have learnt and benefited so much from this simple, complex soap!

Highly recommended! Might be a good idea to check out the whole range and make a list for loved
ones for Christmas gifts since the season seems to be creeping up on us again so quickly! You're
sure to find something special and for the bargain price, these are definitely worth it! 130gm - $7.00

SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES

~ September Favourites! ~

Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk
With it already hitting up to 30 degrees most days here in Qld,
hiding in my jeans is no longer a comfortable option, so the shorts and
skirts are in and my bare legs have been gradually getting a makeover!

Scunci Expandable Headbands
I've never seen this style of headband before.
I love how handy these are to have in your pocket, handbag,
car, etc ready at a moments notice without having to stress about
having a large on snapping. These fold up small and compact so easily!

Sukin Treatment Oil
This has done wonders on some of my acne scaring on my face.
I also like to use this to help with my stretched out gut from having
two beautiful bundles of joy whom I adore, the skin all over my torso,
however sure ain't how it used to be!

Rediscovered old, old favourite!
I'd completely forgotten I had this, but upon sorting
through my beauty products into sections, (ie, all makeup removers
together!) I begun using this all over again and have no idea why I ever
stopped. I love the foam texture, it's awesome!

Velvet Goats Milk Beauty Bar
A newly discovered product this month, goats milk has
me embracing soap in the shower again! Makes my skin feel
lovely and soft. I've been totally into this using it everyday!

Maybelline Colorshow Street Artist Top Coat in White Splatter
A surprise gift bought home from hubby recently,
I instantly feel in love with this the moment I laid eyes on it!
The colour and mixed mash of different textures is so pretty
and creates an awesome effect on your nails.

OPI Nail Lacquer in Hey Baby
Recently received this in my The Parcel subscription box.
Such a signature shade of mine. (Magenta pink) I can't seem to
shake it. After finding space for this on my polish rack, it was obvious
and a little eye opening to me to realize over half of all of my OPI's
are some shade of pink! What can I say? I'm a girlie girl! :)

VELVET

~ VELVET SKINCARE ~

Since 1900!

I believe this brand has got to be one of Australia's best kept beauty secrets!
Why I have not heard more about this brand is a mystery, but having recently been
introduced to their soaps & hand wash, suitable for even the most sensitive of skin
types, it's left me thinking what an impressive company to still be going strong after
well over 100 years! Now that, is impressive!

Velvet Sorbolene Sensitive Hand Wash
This staple hand wash is soap free and pH balanced to keep
your hands from drying out whilst still keeping them clean and free
from germs. It feels nice to use and leaves my skin feeling soft, clean and
smooth.

Velvet Pure Soap
(4 Pack!)
Free from colours and harsh fragrances, these soaps are so gentle
they can be used by the whole family!
I appreciate this because it makes my life much easier with a husband and 2 kids!

Velvet Moisturising Beauty Bar
(4 Pack!)
Usually if my skin is looking on the dryer side, I will steer clear of soap and instead
lean toward a moisturing body wash. However, this Beauty Bar is fragrance free and
won't strip your skin or make the dryness any worse.

Velvet Sorbolene for Sensitive Skin
(2 Pack!)
This soap is the perfect family staple.
It is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin, so it
works well for my whole family!

Velvet Goats Milk Beauty Bar
(2 Pack!)
Goats Milk, when it comes to beauty has lately become more and more popular.
And for good reason! This Beauty Bar not only cleansers gently, it also
removes all your make up & gently exfoliates the skin!
Any 2 or more in 1 product is a winner for me!
This one does a fab job too, leaving skin moisturised and nourished.

100% Australian Made, Owned & Operated,
this trusted brand has remained super affordable throughout the
years catering to it's many generations and no doubt will continue
to do so for many more!

Dove Beauty Cream Bar

Today I bring you my thoughts and opinion on Dove's
Beauty Cream Bar. Not your ordinary, regular soap.

Dove is a company that has been around for as long
as I can remember and it is a brand I have always used.
Their ethics when it comes to embracing each and every
woman no matter their height, weight, age or race is very
inspiring to me, as we truly are all incredibly unique and hold
so much beauty, even if we don't always see it or appreciate it in
ourselves or others all of the time. I believe beauty lies in the eye
of the beholder. We all have our own idea of what we find to be
beautiful and it is so incredibly unfair that society in general
boxes up their own ideals and expects the world to follow suit.
I have so much respect for Dove for being bold and embracing us all.
That, to me is a beautiful thing and it is so nice to see the world slowly
coming back down to earth and accepting reality and accepting the truth.
We are all different and that is Ok, in fact it should be celebrated!
What a boring world it would be if we were all the same.

Beyond all that Dove's Beauty Cream Bar actually understands
skin! Yes, we all want to be clean and smelling fresh.
But who wants that squeaky, dry feeling? Not me!
This soap is moisturizing but still gives your whole body a good clean.
The last thing I want, especially in these harsh winter months where
my skin is prone to being drier, is a soap that is going to strip my skin
of its natural good oils. My hands, feet and whole body feels so incredibly soft
and smooth after using this. The smell is nice too and not up your nose overpowering.

Do you use any Dove products?

Love Candy!

I Won Some Lush!

I have something to confess. I am addicted to entering competitions. I have slowed down quite a lot of late. Concentrating my spare time more on this blog and other more important things, like cleaning the house, etc... One of the quickest and easiest ways to find and keep up to date with brands, people and products is through one of my favourite social media sites. Instagram.

Recently I was lucky enough to win a Bunty Gift Pack by Lush from a competition held by Chanelkxo in collaboration with Lush_ausnz on Instagram. Today it finally arrived and I am so excited to try everything and share them with you as Lush is up there as one of my absolute favourite beauty brands! :)

Inside the box is as follows!

Think Pink Bath Ballistic
This appears scarcely like the pic in the catalogue.
It is suppose to be much more of a magenta pink
with 3 flowers, not 1....maybe they're just buried inside
there somewhere.

Space Girl Bath Ballistic

Mini Comforter Bubble Bar

Creamy Candy Bubble Bar
The Catalogue shows this to have some kind of flower in it but I guess
mine either missed out or its buried somewhere inside...?

They all smell incredible and strong!
I cannot wait to use them all!

:)

What are your favourite products from Lush?
Have you tried any of these from the Bunty Box?

Thank you for reading! xo
