Razor Review!

I have never used a razor designed this way before. It is very unique and different.
It is a fun new way in which I have really enjoyed the benefits of.

First of all the scent of the coconut milk and almond oil combined is really the
kind of I scent I am drawn to. It doesn't have any of that up your nose overpowering
 perfume find of scent, it just smells calming and a bit yummy too. :)

The shower hanger provided to use to store the razor came in quite handy for me
 because there isn't a whole lot of room in my shower to put products.
There are no shelves so I just pop all of my bottles and products balanced
on the top of the door...>_< 

So to have this suction capped to the wall just made my life so much
easier and it stayed there without falling, miracle!

The grip handles were also great because you could hold it with soapy hands
 and it wouldn't slip out as the rubber is about 90% all the way around it,
so not at all slippery. The cap which I replaced over the blades after each
use I felt really good about because it protected anything from getting
into the blades between each use.

I can be a bit of a clumsy shaver at times as I am usually in a rush and
just glide my razor ever so un-gracefully over my legs in about 10 seconds flat!
 So to have a razor that is designed not to nick or cut me is a big plus!
The moisture block I think helped prevent them because I didn't nick
 myself once and I still shaved uber fast!

The 4 blades gave me such a close shave and the moisture block
made my skin feel instantly smooth and silky straight afterwards
whilst still in the shower. After drying myself, I still moisturised as
 I do in my normal everyday routine, but I wouldn't feel bad if I
skipped this step as my legs looked and felt soft and moisturised after each shave anyway.

After a few weeks of shaving the moisture block eventually dwindled
it's way down evenly to the blades and by now I think the blades probably
 need to be replaced. But I think the time it has lasted has been sufficient and worthwhile.

Overall, a great razor which I really loved using and couldn't find any faults with.
It worked great for me, my skin and needs.

I would recommend and buy this in future when the need arises for
 a new razor and will be purchasing new replacement blades soon. :)

- Second time results!

Second Review #Dark Brown 4.0

Following the first time dying my hair with this hair dye in the dark brown 4.0, the second time around was a pretty similar experience.

The colour is almost identical to my natural shade so I have been happy with no noticeable regrowth. I haven't noticed the colour fading at all, which has been excellent. It covered my few stray greys, although when it came time to dye my hair again after a few weeks, some sneaky new ones had suddenly appeared. :*( So I don't know if that is from the dye wearing off, or just new ones growing.

I noticed after this second round, by the time I was ready to dye my hair again and the conditioning cream provided in the box had been long used up, only after using it again did I realize just how much of a difference it makes to my hair!! Looking back over my first video review, I think you can see the difference in my hairs texture before and after dying really obviously. My hair took to it so well, I feel like the no ammonia and flower oils also helped make such a positive difference in the dye itself. My hair became once again super smooth, soft and very shiny and healthy looking! It felt so good! Again I used two boxes to complete the job, using about 3/4 the amount of the second box.

Any slight drips onto my skin didn't stain and simply washed off in the shower. I didn't get light headed or anything like that from the fumes, because there weren't any. No irritation at all and I found it even easier the second time around after already using the product once before.

Super duper impressed & very happy with the results!

Will Continue To Use!

This is my 3rd and final review as part of the Trial Team for this product. I've now dyed my hair for the 3rd time in the shade 4.0 Dark Brown which is almost exact to my natural shade.

I found for the first time I only used just one box instead of 2 previously as I found the colour hadn't really faded at all and since my roots were almost exact I didn't need much touching up. I did still have the odd grey popping through so I mainly focused on getting as much dye as I could manage soaking into those nasty little hairs!

Throughout this whole experience, since the beginning my hair has remained in a much better, more noticeable condition. I have really noticed the difference at how shinier my hair looks and it just overall feels healthier, I've even received quite a few compliments from family and friends at how good my hair is looking and what I'd done to it!! :D

I would love to see Garnier supply or release a larger tube of the conditioning treatment supplied in the box as I just LOVED it! If I could purchase a larger bottle of it or similar I would use it all the time!

I've decided to keep the upkeep and colour maintenance of my hair with this product as the colour really suits me and my skin tone. I feel like it is a big improvement from the two toned ombre effect I had going on before!

Will continue to use and purchase! LOVE IT! :)

SUNSCREEN IN WINTER

You might think me to be a little strange to be writing a post about 

sunscreen when it's the middle of winter, but hear me out as I justify

my crazy ways.

We all know the harmful effects the sun can have on our skin, hair, eyes, etc!

But did you know the sun's most damaging UVA & UVB rays can actually strike you

on cloudy days! So even if it is rain, hail, even snow or shine, we really all

should be lathering up in this stuff year round!

I was fortunate enough as part to Beautyheaven's video trial team to test this 

particular lotion out and I have to say, it has remained a firm favourite for our

whole family. (We're onto our second bottle!)

The bright yellow bottle is just so bright and fun looking, it makes me happy

to look at on those cold winter mornings whilst dreaming about the warm sunshine,

and sand between my toes as I walk along the warm waters edge.....

What I love about this is the super high SPF of 50! With a young family, it is so

important to me to look after them and with this at least I know I am giving them

the best skin protection I can. It is also water resistant for up to 4 hours, which Is

perfect in the warmer months when we're swimming in the pool or at the beach.

The lightweight formula makes it easy to apply and rub in without giving you that

less than appealing white ghost look. It absorbs into the skin quickly and isn't greasy,

nor does it even smell like your typical sunscreen lotion! The scent is more like a

light fragranced moisturiser. 

All pluses with this one, I really cannot fault this product!

A staple I recommend every household should own!

My hair and I have forever been at battle to somehow tame my frizzy, dry and damaged hair! My hair has been through a lot over the years of being victim to trends of dying, styling, sculpting & shaping, not to mention burning, straightening & curling to no end! So needless to say it has taken its toll!

Before I starting using this product some time ago now, my hair was DRY and had that awful 'crunch' sound to the ends! *cringe!* 

But now I am  happy as a skipping 5 year old with ice-cream as my hair has a new lease on life! It has completely transformed into Miranda Kerr worthy shiny, soft, luxurious locks! (Well almost! She's kinda impossible to compete with! Let's be honest here!)

For $19.95 for a 100ml stunning golden glass bottle, you totally get your money's worth as I am sure it would last most people ages to get through the bottle. My hair is long and thick and I only need about 2-3 pumps at most to finger through my hair each day which is super quick & easy to do by the way! It only takes a few seconds to apply and then you're good to go!

The smell is lovely too. Nothing too fancy or overpowering. Just enough to have passers by think you have great smelling hair!

I love the fact that this oil has so many natural flower oils! Sounds so girly and just lovely to me! Like who doesn't want their hair to smell like a bunch of flowers, right?

Instead of the oil turning your hair into an instant oil slick, it instantly soaks into each hair strand and I swear straight away you can notice the difference in touch & sight!

This golden gem makes me so happy! Nothing has ever come close to completely fixing my hair & I am so grateful for this product!

Over the past few weeks the hubby and I have both been

trialing and enjoying the benefits of these new 

Mitchum Clinical Protection 48hr Deodorants. 

I have been trialing in Pure Fresh & Powder Fresh scents.

Here is my review and thoughts below. :)

I am not usually a big sweater, but I definitely need to use a good deodorant daily! Being a busy mum, I am always rushing around doing something and I need that protection. Plus I find I sweat the most if I'm in a stressed or nervous situation. I have no time for leisurely sporting activities so I was unable to test these out in a full on sweat session, but I can tell you they did work for me, totally and entirely!

I much preferred the Pure Fresh scent over the Powder Fresh. Even though the Powder Fresh scent was pleasant, I'm not a big fan of the powder kind of scent. I much preferred the fresh, clear and clean kind of scent the Pure Fresh gave me.

Both performed the same. They kept me completely stink free, so to speak! ;) I applied once a day before going to bed usually after my shower. I did try it a few times before showing as it says it lasts in the shower and works whilst you sleep, but I much preferred just applying it before bed as it felt a bit weird to apply deodorant and then shower and wash the area straight afterwards.

Overall, very impressed and love the packaging! Fun and easy to use. I would buy in the future, although I'm not a fan of the hefty price. Although I would probably purchase without question in the humid Summer months.

My husband has been trialing two of the men's scents in Clean Control & Sport.

My husband has been trialling this deodorant in both the Sport and Clean Control scents over the past few weeks and as a man who wants and needs to smell fresh throughout the whole day working in an office environment being surrounded and dealing with people all day long, it is imperative he has a deodorant that lasts the distance. This deodorant did not fail!

He applied this each morning as apposed to the suggested night time application, as he just isn't used to this kind of procedure. None the less, it still worked brilliantly anyway.

He preferred the Sport fragrance over the Clean Control, but found them both the same in terms of performance.

Was easily applied and didn't leave any residue transferred onto his clothes. Only slight complaint was that his clicker which pushes the deodorant out was slightly tough and didn't turn smoothly which was a slight annoyance.

Overall he was really impressed and would use again and purchase in the future.
