MATCH PERFECTION

~ RIMMEL LONDON ~

Match Perfection Fix And Protect

FACE BASES!

I have been recently testing out this new foundation in both shades Ivory 100 & White Nude 102.
Both very similar in terms of shade and both seem to suit my light slightly pale skin. The Ivory is
slightly lighter and appears a little grey upon application, however soon seems to change once
settled onto my skin and turns into a more natural looking shade close to my own skin colour.

The White Nude is a shade or two darker, but still suitable for light skin tones and has more of a
orange/yellow undertone about it. This too seems like a slightly different shade when first applied,
however soon settles and changes to give me a natural slightly sun kissed glow. I found this foundation to give about a medium to full coverage on my skin. Was fairly impressed by this
as you will see more clearly in my video below.

These foundations are a pretty amazing combination whilst keeping the skin matte throughout the
day and keeping the natural oily t-zone under control, this product you may be surprised to know
contains an SPF 20! I am pretty sure this is the first foundation I have come across to contain SPF and
still keep my skin matte throughout the day!

Recently I put this foundation to the test and documented how it went on my skin throughout the day
used in conjunction with the Rimmel London Fix & Protect Primer. Take a look as I check in with my camera throughout the day and find out my thoughts on the end result.

PRIMER!

As with another Rimmel London primer I have used previously, with this product a little goes a long way and you really need to be careful not to apply too much or your face will become overly white and the product difficult to blend in. I found a small amount to do just fine and worked to create a smoother, less oily surface on my skin as a good base for my makeup.

The formula is white and quite a bit runny, similar to that of a sunscreen consistency without the smell! The scent is actually much more fragrant with a light floral scent to it which quickly disappears after application.

I found this primer kept my foundation firmly in place throughout the day and my skin hardly got oily at all after around 10 hours. I noticed a positive result as I am usually much more oily by the end of the day especially when wearing makeup.

I would still apply a powder over the top of this primer and foundation combo, however for the purpose of my first impressions video I skipped this step to see how it found fair without it.

Overall a good base for foundation. Not overly blurring or skin perfecting, but pretty good at keep the skin matte and holding the makeup in place for a good full day!

These and other Rimmel London makeup products can be purchased from Priceline, Coles, K-Mart,
Woolworths, Big W, Target & other selected pharmacies around Australia.
Match Perfection Foundation RRP $18.95

INSTANT TAN

~  Rimmel London  ~

Sun Shimmer Instant Tan

BB Skin Perfecter

Medium Matte Review!

Recently I reviewed as similar new product also by Rimmel London which you can read all about here. This particular product however has been a great addition to my at home self tanning routine which I haven’t seemed to be able to stop doing since the beginning of Summer. This has been a bit of a bronzed obsessed holiday period for me and I have enjoyed every second of it!

One of my favourite things about the ever changing, growing and evolving products and innovations from the beauty industry is their ability to come up with product for not just one single purpose but several and in this case an impressive nine.

1. Softens Skin
2. Smooths Skin
3. Moisturises
4. Instant Tanning Results
5. Gives A Healthy Glow
6. Evens Skin Tone
7. Covers Skin
8. Protects Skin
9. Lasts Up To 24 Hours

This BB ‘wash off’ formula means I can experiment with as many layers of products as I want to determine the shade I am feeling that particular day and if it turns out too dark or not looking right I can just wash it right off and start over again instantly! No waiting around for days or up to a week for a dodgy tan application to fade here. Too often I find I haven’t exfoliated my skin enough and my fake tan can look much darker and a bit dirty on my knees and around certain areas on the tops of my feet. Definitely NOT a good look!

At just $13.95 this Sun Shimmer Instant Tan has barely any shimmer actually in it, yet it gives your skin a certain glow and the slimming illusion of the deep chocolate matte shade does a super job on my otherwise naturally not at all very toned thighs.

Available in both Medium Matte & Light Matte! (Shop Now!)

SUPER CURLER

~  RIMMEL LONDON  ~

Super Curler 24hr
Volume & Curl
Mascara!

Kimmel London 'Super Curl' Volume & Curl Mascara! - $17.95 (Shop!)

We all have our staple makeup items. You know, the ones you absolutely love and always have in
your makeup bag? I have those too of course, however being a beauty blogger/vlogger I am always
trying new and different products which come and go on a regular basis. I do however like to keep
products moving along and rotating through my collection, so each time there is a new season (Hello
Spring!) I completely clean out my makeup bag and replace everything and start fresh for the next 3
months or so!

Since a few weeks ago in early Spring I swapped out my old mascara for this newbie from Rimmel
London. The 'Super Curler' which not only curls your lashes it also boosts up the volume as well.

The wand itself is nothing out of the ordinary. The brush has a slight curve to it which makes for easy,
neat application and there seems to be less product on the bristles upon applying which I actually like
because I feel like I have more control of how much product I am waving on with each stroke rather
than big chunks of mascara going on and then having to work it all through evenly with the brush.

I feel like my lashes naturally have a nice little curl to them, however it is pretty pointless without
mascara as my lashes are fairly short and boring. I was surprised at how much this mascara also
lengthened my lashes! They actually look twice as long! Thank you Super Curl! :)

See my before & after below!
