1000 HOUR

1000 HOUR
DAY TO NIGHT LASHES!

Exotic Black Night
If you are after just a basic and classic false eyelash set which acts to enhance what you already have,
then these lashes are for you! They are plain black, straight, two lengths and thicknesses to mimic
what real lashes look like - only enhanced!

Each pack of these twin pack falsies come with it's down small tube of white eyelash glue which
dries clear. I know some people prefer to purchase another kind of lash glue separately, however I
found this glue to work just fine.

(Worn in image below right!)

Exotic Black Day
This Exotic Black Day pack of lashes is great for everyday wear. They come as a half lash set for you to control how full you want your lash look to be. These lashes are a great length and fan out to sit and look more natural onto the curve of your eye.

These lashes aren't super long or thick, however they are a good half a length longer than my natural
lashes so they do add a little something more to my everyday eye look. More is more in my opinion
when it comes to lashes daaahrling!

Daring Twist Night
With the silly season almost here, if you plan to dress up and want a dramatic look then go for these
Daring Twist Night time lashes! They are out there amazing and make all of the difference!

The lashes criss cross over lapping each other and look so good once applied! The lash hairs
are a mix of dark brown and black which I think is really unique and cool. I would also
wear these on a night out or other special event or occasion where I was getting really dressed up. The lashes are just beautiful and hands down my favourite of them all!

(Worn in image below left!)

Daring Twist Day
The day time lashes in this set, suitable more for day time are the same criss cross style, however are
all black and shorter than the Daring Twist night time lashes. They apply easily and still make a
statement during the day in my opinion, however are still completely appropriate.

In my opinion these false lashes are really great quality as they feel pretty strong and I have worn
them multiple times and they are still in very good condition. I just give them a quick wipe over with
a makeup wipe after each use to clean them!

SUPER CURLER

~  RIMMEL LONDON  ~

Super Curler 24hr
Volume & Curl
Mascara!

Kimmel London 'Super Curl' Volume & Curl Mascara! - $17.95 (Shop!)

We all have our staple makeup items. You know, the ones you absolutely love and always have in
your makeup bag? I have those too of course, however being a beauty blogger/vlogger I am always
trying new and different products which come and go on a regular basis. I do however like to keep
products moving along and rotating through my collection, so each time there is a new season (Hello
Spring!) I completely clean out my makeup bag and replace everything and start fresh for the next 3
months or so!

Since a few weeks ago in early Spring I swapped out my old mascara for this newbie from Rimmel
London. The 'Super Curler' which not only curls your lashes it also boosts up the volume as well.

The wand itself is nothing out of the ordinary. The brush has a slight curve to it which makes for easy,
neat application and there seems to be less product on the bristles upon applying which I actually like
because I feel like I have more control of how much product I am waving on with each stroke rather
than big chunks of mascara going on and then having to work it all through evenly with the brush.

I feel like my lashes naturally have a nice little curl to them, however it is pretty pointless without
mascara as my lashes are fairly short and boring. I was surprised at how much this mascara also
lengthened my lashes! They actually look twice as long! Thank you Super Curl! :)

See my before & after below!

SCANDALEYES XTREME

~   RIMMEL LONDON   ~

SCANDALEYES X-XTREME

MASCARA!

Reliable, affordable and unique. Another Rimmel London mascara from their famous 'Scandaleyes'
collection. This one is their Scandaleyes X-xtreme and has me hooked! With it's cleverly designed
multi use wand, it has my short, understated lashes looking more attention grabbing than ever!

Even though my lashes are naturally quite dark, the blacker and darker the mascara the better to
help enhance the little hairs that I have. This shade is called Extreme Black and is as dark as they
come. Just the way I like it! :)

Back to the hard working, multi tasking wand. If you look closely you can see that there are two
different size lengths on each side with the bristles being shorter and slightly curved on one side
and straight and longer on the other. This is so the shorter curved side can create more volume and
the straight longer side works on lengthening your lashes.

My lashes definitely are longer and thicker after applying this and I like how they have curved
nicely upwards without me having to use my eyelash curler. Time saver, TICK!

The formula is a nice consistency. It is wet without being drippy and I get just the right amount of
product on the wand for each application. I would like my lashes to be slightly seperated a bit more
but that is just me. I have an eyelash comb for that which I am happy to use anyway. No biggie.

This Rimmel London Scandaleyes Xtreme mascara is currently available to purchase in a wide
variety of store around Australia and retails for RRP $16.95 however currently half price at
Priceline!! So you better hurry if you want to grab this bargain! :)

What do you think of this mascara?

IDOL EYES

~  RIMMEL LONDON  ~

Idol Eyes Kate Moss Mascara!

Review!

My eyelashes have never been one of my best features. They have just sort of just been there.
Un-noticed, although naturally dark they have just never been long, thick or have any sort of curl
to them. Thank you to whoever the beauty god was who invented mascara because without it who
knows where I'd be!?

Every now and again a new mascara comes along which far beats all of my expectations.
I want long, I want thick and I want mascara that will curl my lashes upwards and open up my eyes.

This one does that! See pic below!

Now compare the above photo of my eye to the one below without any make-up.
Obviously there is a huge difference! This mascara just about doubles the length of my lashes and
definitely opens them up to the point where the tips almost touch the arch of my eyebrows!
(Excuse the un-plucked bushiness! It's been a long week!)

As you can see this mascara does not seperate every single eye lash, however if I could locate my
eyelash brush I am sure I could comb those suckers apart. Has anyone tried blow drying their
eyelashes? Aparently that works like magic at giving you perfectly separated, perfect looking lashes.
It is on my to-do list to try it!

Have you tried this Rimmel London Idol Eyes mascara?
How do you get perfect looking lashes?

How To - Achieve Natural Looking FAKE Lashes!

Fake Natural Looking Long & Full Lashes!

Some time ago whilst browsing beauty blogs and Youtube videos
I stumbled across what I believe to be a pretty
clever and skillful beauty trend.

Today I'd like to share it with you! :)

I actually filmed a video tutorial showing
you Step-By-Step on how to achieve
this illusion. You can watch that below.

In general applying false lashes takes
a bit of practice before getting the hang of it.
The same goes for this method of application.
So don't feel disheartened if at first you don't succeed.

Try try again!

It will eventually become a fast and easy way
to achieve beautifully, envious looking
lashes without the cost of getting them
professionally applied at a salon.

Step #1
Most of us beauty lovers already own some kind
of false lashes amongst our masses of stashes.
So grab your pair of choice.
Smaller sections of lashes may be easier to
apply for beginners or you can cut your
full Lash set into smaller sections and apply
one at a time until you have achieved your desired look.

Step #2
Here is the kicker!
Instead of applying your fake lashes to the top of your natural
lashes, you are actually going to apply them below.
The same place where you would tight line your upper
lash line. If you regularly do this, you will probably
find this step much easier as you already have some
experience working with this delicate part of your eye.

Step #3
Because you have applied the lashes below your natural
lash line, there are no visible false lash line to be seen.
Your lashes should appear fuller and longer.
To fool everyone into thinking you were born with natural
long and full lashes, you could leave them just like that,
or apply mascara and other eye makeup as usual
and be on your way! :)

Don't forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel to see more videos!
Let me know if you have any requests below!
(Video or Blog!)

Let me know if you have tried this before and any tips
you have to share.

Thanks for reading/watching & have a beautiful weekend!
See you all next week!

xoxo

Overview!

Today I have decided to share my make up collection.  Not because I think I have a dazzling collection worthy of showing off, but mainly because I think it is a topic that is very popular and widely enjoyed by beauty fanatics and like minded folk. I know I love to read and watch people's collections and storage ideas on blogs, websites and youtube videos, so I thought I would share mine for sheer inspiration for your own collection and storage to gather ideas and tips along the way. :)

For the longest time I just had my make up stashed amongst all my other bathroom products, in draws and cupboards, and it was almost always impossible to find what ever it was I was looking for. I finally got my hands on one of these storage draws I had seem many other beauty gurus have to store their make up items and thought it would be the perfect way to store my stuff as well. This is available from Office works for around $50 and is available in the clear,  like mine, an ombre Grey and the famous rainbow shades.

Congratulations you finally made it to the end of my collection. Not a lot of high end stuff as I've only recently begun to indulge in them so I am slowly replacing the old with some new quality products. I still love my drugstore brands though too! :)

If you'd like to watch a video of my makeup collection you can find it here. If has changed a bit compared to these photos as my 2 year old daughter often gets into and rearranges my draws for me.... so to speak! ;)

I am still waiting on my Naked 1, 2 & 3 Palettes coming from the US that hubby was so kind to get me for my birthday. I am itching to try them and do some video & blog posts using them. So keep an eye out as they will hopefully be coming soon!
