EL8TE

El8te Rose Skincare

Pure! Natural! Australian!

http://www.el8teaustralia.com.au
I love being an Aussie, but the heat is getting ridiculous! I am so over it, anyone else? I have always
loved winter and the cooler months and this year I am looking forward to it more than ever!

Speaking of being Aussie, today I thought I'd talk about another totally awesome all Australian
made and owned company and a few of their products I have been trying out over the past couple of
months called El8te Skincare.

Moisturising Hand & Body Wash - ($24.95 - 250ml)
This delightful multi-use product smells different to anything else I have tried and is very uplifting
and pretty. The formula is an almost clear and not too running when you pump it out of the dispenser.

I have been using this both in the shower, in the kids bath and as a hand wash in the kids bathroom
which we as a family all use as some point during the day! This product has been well loved and used
by us all and I have heard no complaints! I am really loving it, plus the elegant packaging doesn't hurt
to turn the kids bathroom into more of a grown up space.... at least when you look at where it sits on
the side of the sink and nowhere else! ;)

El8te also offer a range of products in charcoal & spearmint, rosemary & citrus as well as a skincare range just for babies! This particular range of goat's milk and rose is especially formulated for suit even the most sensitive of skin types.

This hand and body wash is very gentle and feels soft and milky on the skin. The scent it deliciously
rose with that slight milky fragrance. All ingredients are 100% natural and Australian which makes me feel good about supporting our Aussie companies!

Nourishing Hand & Nail Cream - ($34.95 - 75g)
I always apply hand cream right before going to sleep. I find this the best way for those richer, thick
creams to really soak in, soften and repair my skin as I sleep. This particular hand cream not only
moisturisers deep within the skin, slowing down the look of your ageing hands. With it's goat's milk
which contains a massive 50 essential nutrients as well as vitamins A, B5, C & E and folic acid it also
softens your cuticles and hardens your nails keeping them healthy on the inside and looking youthful,
smooth and shiny on the outside!

This hand and nail cream isn't your overly super thick kind, however that's not to say it doesn't work
just as well or isn't as rich in ingredients, as the results I have experienced have been really quite
wonderful! Being 33, my hands are beginning to show their age much more than my face! Even with
applying hand cream each night. During the day I am either at work using my hands all day long or at
home looking after two young kids and cleaning all day. All those chemicals and hand washing really
dries them out and I never experienced this until becoming a busy parent.

El8te Skincare are cruelty free and do not test on animals!
Their products are also free from synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals & colour additives!

You can kind and purchase these products and more from their various ranges mentioned above
directly online from their website. El8te Skincare can also be found in selected stores and some spas
Australia wide.

GRIFFIN & ROW

GRIFFIN & ROW

Naturally Effective Skincare

Cleanse Review!

http://www.griffinandrow.com
Griffin + Row Cleanse - $25.00

Cleansing my face in the morning is one of the top 5 things I do as soon as I wake up!
I am one of the people who are never fully awake or alert until I have splashed my face with water
(I like it as cold as I can get it for a refreshing hit!) and given it a good old cleanse!

Once I have slashed my face a few times with ice cold water, I then get the water to a little more than
luke warm temperature to get those pores opening back up and I am ready to cleanse the night of
dead skin cells and dirt build up down the drain.

Because I am so passionate about beauty and skincare and being a blogger I am regularly trying out
new products including facial cleaners and at the moment I am using this beautiful product called
'Cleanse' by Griffin + Row.

Griffin + Row are an Australian, cruelty free and all natural skincare brand who care about the earth,
with all of their packaging being completely recyclable and use only the necessary natural ingredients
needed for each of their products. There are no parabens, harmful chemicals, artificial colouring or
fragrances.

This particular product like I mentioned is all natural, yet still a highly effective cleanser suitable for
all skin types. I have normal skin which is neither sensitive or dry. However does get the occasional
spot here and there with large pores and fine lines. This product no only works to deeply cleanse your
face leaving it feeling like new again, it is also a wonder worker at removing makeup at the end of the day!

As you can see from the back of my hand below, this cleanser does not lather up into a big white
fluffy ball like some cleansers do and this small pea size amount it all you need to use each time! This is because it does not contain the synthetic ingredients whic are put purely into these other products
simply to create this effect. A lot of times these can be irritating to the skin and cause a rash or
itching.

This product has the most gorgeous kind of natural scent about it. It is like deeply taking in the scent
of a bunch of bush roses. With ingredients including - Vitamin E, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Bergamont
Oil, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Sweet Orange, Lavender and Pink Grapefruit Oils, it is no wonder this
product has me looking forward to my every cleanse both morning and night! The scent alone will
captivate you!

Griffin + Row products can be purchased directly online from their official website.
They also ship internationally from Australia!

Have you tried this natural Aussie skincare brand?

7 SKINS

~  7 SKINS YOUTH  ~
Natural Skincare That Rocks

Skincare Review!

It is no secret that I have acne prone skin. Getting my first zit when I was eleven is still clearly
imprinted in my mind. I suffered pretty awful skin all throughout my teens and even into my early
20's. I am so happy my skin has calmed itself down over the past ten or so years as I have learnt how
to care for my skin, tried a billion different products and acne fighting remedies and perfected a
routine twice daily skincare routine for myself which just comes naturally to me now and is actually
a ritual I look forward to and enjoy, especially at the end of a long day! It is nice and relaxing to
spend some quite, quality 'me' time!

Throughout my teen years I wasn't very educated in terms of skincare products and I remember just
having Saperderm soap in the bathroom which was my face wash. Thinking back I cringe at the
thought of using a cake of soap to wash my face with! Majorly oil stripping, it is no wonder my skin
went into sebum reproduction overdrive!

Lucky of teens now a days there are some fantastic Aussie brands helping us out with products
designed especially just for acne sufferers and adults alike as I have found 7 Skins to be a fantastic
and effective brand with their range of products for my 'normal' adult skin which if you watch my
Youtube videos you will probably notice still gets the odd zit pop up every now and then.

Organic Fab Face Detox Tea
Ever since my professional teeth whitening experience I have been trying not to drink so much
coffee so have been working through not only my variant random flavoured tea but also this 100%
certified organic, Aussie made and owned detox tea to help to cleanse my body both inside and out.

With a refreshing blend of ingredients including - burdock, dandelion root, liquorice, nettle leaf, St
Mary's thistle, lemon peel, lemon verbena, red clover, calendula petals & rhubarb root, the flavour is
unique and easy to drink. It is recommended to try 2-3 cups per day, however I have been trying 1-2
and finding my body responding well in the detoxing and appearance of my skin whilst using the
other complimenting products from the 7 Skins Youth range.

4 Week Supply! (2 Cups Per Day) $18.95 (60gms)

Fab Face Mist in Lavender
Over since I first tried using a face mist, I cannot tell you just how much I love and enjoy them!
Particularly during Summer when it gets insanely humid, having a refreshing, cooling facial mist on
hand to cool you down and refresh the skin is addictive!

Facial mists not only hydrate your skin. This blend of lavender, augustifolia, distillate and grapefruit
seed extract also tones, cleansers, controls oiliness, helps to heal acne and keeps your skin's natural
ph balance in check! Additionally with it's antibacterial and antiseptic properties, this facial mist also
reduces redness, skin irritations, soothes sunburn and can be used on minor grazes and burns to calm
the skin. Trust me, this all rounder is a must have for both your skincare routine and first aid kit, I
have been using it like crazy over the past couple of months. And because it is all natural and does
not contain any nasty chemical ingredients I can safely use it on my kids. Bonus!

Also available in Rose, Orange Blossom & Chamomile! $15.95 (150ml)

Zappin Zeolite Acne Mask
I haven't had much experience when it comes to using powdered facial masks before, however this
has been fun to use and being a loose powder, this ensures the ingredients stay fresher, longer!

This mask can be used as both a deep cleansing facial mask or as an exfoliant which is highly
effective when used several times per week whilst experiencing a break out. You can mix some of
the formula with water or if you want to pack even more goodness into your skin, the 7 Skins Youth
facial mists can be spritzed into a moist paste and then applied to the skin.

Ingredients include - Organic Australian zeolite & french green clay.
It is recommended to mix your mask into a plastic bowl using a non metal spoon as the clay will
absorb the metal and therefore not be as effective. (Weird fact!)

I found the mask to dry completely after around ten minutes and once rinsed away my skin felt
amazing and looked renewed, fresher and you could really see how deeply it cleaned out my pores!
Loved seeing them so clear and free of dirt and the dead skin build up completely gone!

Available online now directly to purchase from the 7 Skins Youth website. $15.95 (100gms)

Fab Face Acne Serum
This might be a little 15ml bottle, but boy does it pack a powerful acne fighting punch!
With soothing, healing, cleansing, antibacterial, antiseptic (to name just a few!) ingredients
including - grape seed oil, organic black cumin seed oil, watermelon seed oil, lavender essential oil,
sandalwood essential oil, myrtle essential oil, pachouli essential oil & geranium essential oil.

This acne fighting serum can be used to cleanse, hydrate and even fade scaring. I love that this serum
not only fights my occasional spot, it also heals my skin and fades some of the acne scaring that I
have from my teen years.

100% Natural & Suitable for both men & women! Does not dry out the skin! $18.95 (15ml)

ABFE

~AUSTRALIAN BUSH FLOWER ESSENCES~
Love System
Woman Daily Essence Moisturiser
REVIEW!

http://www.ausflowers.com.au

Has anyone else begun to feel the chill of the crisp Winter air? For me it is already creeping into my
room and under the covers in the early hours of the AM and slightly waking me up in a dazed and
groggy state.

My skin has been on a great run over the past 6-9 months or so. Thanks mainly due to a great batch of
a range of different skincare products I have been testing out. Thankfully they have all seemed to
agree with me, which honestly makes it difficult to choose just one favourite.

One of those new favs to join my skincare club in my overflowing bathroom is this absolutely devine
daily essence moisturiser by Australian Bush Flower Essences. This can be used on your face, hands
and body and boasts a thick earthy bush scented white cream that absorbs within a few minutes and
has left my skin feeling loved and soft again after it being slightly dried out over the chilly nights.

I have been applying this to my face in the morning. Just a tiny amount and patting it gently into my
skin rather than rubbing it in for a more caring approach to my skin which also helps eliminate
causing damage and premature winkling and sagging to the skin by moving the skin around.

I would describe this as a thick, rich cream which is also quite heavily scented. However the scent
is fresh, earthy and slightly floral without the overpowering perfume kind of smell. It has more of a
natural strong aroma, as if you have just taken a deep breath out in a overgrown thick Australian
bush. Nourishes and rebalances the skin whilst working hard to improve the skin's texture and
smoothing out those pesky fine lines, which I have noticed this to have done the most noticeably on
the backs of my hands.

Contains bush essences of Billy Goat Plum, Bottlebrush, Bush Fuchsia, Crowea, Five Corners, Mulla
Mulla, Old Man Banksia, Peach-Flowers Tea-Tree, Pink Flannel Flower and She Oak.

Like all Love System products from Australian Bush Flower Essences. This Woman Daily Essence
Moisturiser can be purchased directly from their website for RRP $19.85

NATURAL SKINCARE

~  HARVEST GARDEN  ~
Pamper & Indulge
A Look At Natural Skincare!

Coconut Body Polish 150gm
I am so good when it comes to completely cleansing my body head to toe each day in the shower,
however honestly I don't often use a body polish or scrub as I just own a bundle more cleansers and
so that is what I reach for most often. In saying that I do notice the build up of dead and hardened
skin when I leave it go too long and my skin can begin to appear dull and less than smooth.

This Coconut Body Polish smells EXACTLY like a day spa! All natural and super relaxing!
Contains - Epsom Salt, Virgin Coconut Oil, Australian Pink Clay, Dried Rose Buds, Dried
Calendula Flowers, Sweet Orange Essential Oil & Rose Geranium Essential Oil.

How cute and handy is the little scoop in the jar?! I have been using between 3-5 scoops per shower
depending on how much I feel I need that day. This leaves your skin smelling gorgeous and I love
the soft feeling from the moisturising coconut oil and smoothness from the other ingredients blended
together. I don't even have to bother moisturising afterwards as it has all been taken care of in this
polish, clever little guy!

Harvest Garden Coconut Body Polish - RRP: $15.00AU (Shop!)

Gentle Facial Scrub 70gm
I love facial scrubs and always notice a significant difference every time I use one! Somehow I find
my skin tends to build up more on my face than on my body, that I notice anyway! So regular facial
scrubbing is a must for me otherwise the surface of my skin becomes rough, super dull and tends to
break out more frequently with blackheads being more noticeable than usual. Ew!

What I like most about this all natural, all Aussie made Gentle Facial Scrub is it's unique dry blend of
ingredients. These include - Powdered Goats Milk, Ground Oatmeal, Sodium Bicarbonate, Ground
Calendula Petals, Folic Acid & Olive Leaf Extract.

So you may be wondering how to use a dry facial scrub as opposed to a wet one? Well it's actually
really simple and you can even mix in pretty much any wet mix you like to suit you own personal
flavour. Harvest Garden recommends using water, honey, floral water or apple cider vinegar. I
personally find just using water to be the most convenient, however I have also tried using Manuka
Honey which is nice and thick and makes it really easy to apply.

I also have tons of Aloe vera growing in my back yard which I haven't tried mixing in with this yet,
however I am thinking about it as I figure it would feel quite soothing and add to the lovely natural
scent!

Harvest Garden Gentle Facial Polish - RRP: $15.00AU (Shop!)

Intensive Facial Cream 60gm
This Intensive Facial Cream can be used both day and night, however as it is rich in intensive hard
working skin loving ingredients it is recommended to use more as a night cream for best results as
our skin works it's hardest healing the skin and regenerating new cells as we sleep.

This smooth light, whipped, creamy blend smells divine and is a dream on the skin with ingredients
including - Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, Green Tea Extract, Lavender Essential Oil, Rose
Geranium Essential Oil & Patchouli Essential Oils.

Like many other Harvest Garden products you will find your own little scoop inside to use to scoop
out your product to minimise contamination and prolong the life of the product.

With the weather being so hot lately (I am sure many of you can relate!) sometimes Harvest Garden
products can melt a little as they aren't bound together nor contain with any toxic chemicals, synthetic
fragrances, artificial colours, parabens or palm oil. However popping then into the fridge will quickly
being then back up to a less runny consistency. :)

Harvest Garden Intensive Facial Cream - RRP: $20.00AU (Shop!)

Herbal Balm 110gm
This Herbal Balm is one of those clever little must have multi-use products which come in handy for
the whole family for different reasons and you find yourself thanking your lucky stars you own it at
times when you need it the most.

With a solid melt in your hands creamy natural oil based consistency this balm does a whole
multitude of things including healing the skin from nappy rash, minor burns, scabs, dry skin, minor
cuts and grazes as well as dry chapped lips!

Ingredients include a blend of all 100% natural Australian Virgin Coconut Oil, Calendula Infused
Olive Oil, Calendula Infused Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Beeswax and
Vitamin E.

I have been using this mainly as a dry skin and chapped lips moisturiser and even used it on my son's
cheeky little butt-butt with no irritation or flare ups. This stuff is so gentle to even baby's skin!
I have found this to also deeply moisturise the dry brittle ends of my hair, so really you can go to
town experimenting with what works for you with this multi-use product. I highly recommend
having a jar in the house. I keep mine in the fridge as it gives an ultra cooling effect to the skin this
way and feels super refreshing on hot days like the ones we've been having lately!

Harvest Garden Herbal Balm - RRP: $20.00AU (Shop!)

FACE AND BODY

~  Australian Bush Flower Essences  ~

Love System

Gentle Purifying Mask & Exfoliating Cream!

It seems quite common now a days to find a wide range of different multi use products, however
I don't recall coming across too many exfoliating/mask products for both the face and body do you?

I am a big fan of this certified organic, Australian brand having previously tried and loved a range of
their Love System products already and honestly, simply can't get enough of them! All of their
products give off this amazing natural aroma which you can't mistake for anything but smelling like
Australia! I am proud to be fourth generation Aussie and both of my children make fifth in our family.

Australian Bush Flower Essences travel the country sourcing a diverse range of beautiful native
Australian flowers to use their essence in their products. I cannot stress enough how beautiful their
products feel on the skin, their are all so gentle and soothing, each with their own specific benefits,
their wide range means you are sure to find something that will work for you. See the full range here.
There is even a samplers pack if you just want to try out a few things first. :)

The latest I have been trying out has come at such a good time as I have gone far too long without
exfoliating my face and body, and I love the feeling of removing all those dead skin cells which build
up daily! I religiously cleanse and moisturising my whole body twice daily, however before using this
I knew it was time to start investing some of my time to scrubbing as my skin was beginning to feel
rough, a bit bumpy and just feeling a little bit blah.

This is a creamy formulation with deep red grains of natural bush flowers contains a mix of
Angelsword, Bauhinia, Billy Goat Plum, Bottlebrush, Five Corners, Flannel Flower & Fringed Violet.

This multi use product also moisturises your skin which is such an important factor after
exfoliation! Can also be left on longer as a mask
for a deep cleanse.  Win win win!

Both the tube & box can be recycled and are available to purchase directly from the ABFE
website here for $22.95.

Also available at Planet Health in NSW and
a few select Practitioners nation wide.

How often do you conduct a full body exfoliation?
