Has anyone else begun to feel the chill of the crisp Winter air? For me it is already creeping into my
room and under the covers in the early hours of the AM and slightly waking me up in a dazed and
groggy state.

My skin has been on a great run over the past 6-9 months or so. Thanks mainly due to a great batch of
a range of different skincare products I have been testing out. Thankfully they have all seemed to
agree with me, which honestly makes it difficult to choose just one favourite.

One of those new favs to join my skincare club in my overflowing bathroom is this absolutely devine
daily essence moisturiser by Australian Bush Flower Essences. This can be used on your face, hands
and body and boasts a thick earthy bush scented white cream that absorbs within a few minutes and
has left my skin feeling loved and soft again after it being slightly dried out over the chilly nights.

I have been applying this to my face in the morning. Just a tiny amount and patting it gently into my
skin rather than rubbing it in for a more caring approach to my skin which also helps eliminate
causing damage and premature winkling and sagging to the skin by moving the skin around.


I would describe this as a thick, rich cream which is also quite heavily scented. However the scent
is fresh, earthy and slightly floral without the overpowering perfume kind of smell. It has more of a
natural strong aroma, as if you have just taken a deep breath out in a overgrown thick Australian
bush. Nourishes and rebalances the skin whilst working hard to improve the skin's texture and
smoothing out those pesky fine lines, which I have noticed this to have done the most noticeably on
the backs of my hands. 

Contains bush essences of Billy Goat Plum, Bottlebrush, Bush Fuchsia, Crowea, Five Corners, Mulla
Mulla, Old Man Banksia, Peach-Flowers Tea-Tree, Pink Flannel Flower and She Oak.

I think the universe may be trying to tell me something. What with all the recent anti-ageing products I have been trying out lately. Particularly targeting to the face and neck area. Don’t get me wrong, I am more than a happy and willing participant! Being 32 my skin sure would use all the help it can get before I really start looking my age. In saying that this has actually come at a great time as recently I have noticed a weird saggy bit of skin smack bang in the middle of my neck just under my chin. Like seriously, really!? It seems quite common now a days to find a wide range of different multi use products, however
I don't recall coming across too many exfoliating/mask products for both the face and body do you?

rough, a bit bumpy and just feeling a little bit blah.

Forever a beauty blogger, forever trying new cleansers and I have to say since delving into this
Aussie brand and trying out a variety of their different products throughout this year I was very
excited to try this particular facial cleanser since I have tried their Face Wash Serum which was 
pretty impressive I have to say! You can read all about my experience with that one here. :)

In the meantime here is my review on the Purifying Cream Cleanser!

Containing a very unique blend of 87% certified organic ingredients all from native Australian
bush flowers including - Angelsword, Billy Goat Plum, Bottlebrush, Bush Iris, Five Corners, Flannel
Flower & Fringed Violet this refreshing blend smells almost citrus and feels more like a serum as it
does not lather or bubble up when I used it with water to cleanse my face. However the light white
formula is very gentle and feels very uplifting and energising to use and it seems to do a great job at
removing excess dirt and oil after a long day, especially when I have been out in the garden a lot with
my kids lately getting into the dirt and sandpit. When you're playing with kids, that stuff gets all over
the place! Am I right fellow Mummies?


My skin appears much clearer and renewed directly after cleansing and you really only need to use 
one pump from the 50ml bottle to get the job done. Well worth the $22.95 as I am sure this is going to
last me many more months. 50ml is a really great travel size too. I am so happy to add this ABFE 
product to me collection. Using this in conjunction with my Intensive Eye Serum and Uplifting Body
Lotion is a triple treat and it feels awesome using all Australian products.

Typically I am a shower at night kinda person, lathering on which ever lotion smells the most inviting
to me before hopping into my pjs and then off to bed. However since (and I am sure I'm not alone

being jumped on and crawled over numerous times by my 2 and 4 year olds!) dragging my sorry

can be pretty harsh on your skin, drying it out and leaving it feeling less than soft and moisturised.

EYE SERUM

Applying some kind of eye cream or serum hasn't always been a part of my regular skincare routine.
So bad I know and now that I'm in my early 30's I regret not using it every single day a whole lot
sooner! I have been applying eye cream/serums on and off for probably the past 7-8 years, mainly
just with various samples I had received as you only need to use such a tiny amount per application,
they lasted me ages! In doing this however, I have never found that special one which stood out to me
more than the rest. Until now...

your eyes. It is simple to replace a picture frame, yet much harder to replace and repair the skin
around your delicate eyes and it is so easy to prevent the ageing process and look after it. It just
takes about an extra five or so seconds in your daily skincare routine. I am so glad to have woken
up to this epiphany as I just know I would have regreted it if I kept on ignoring this vital step in
my routine and woke up one day to droopy, winkly and tired looking eyes much older than my 
actual age and soul believes.


There is a beautiful quote written on the box this product came in and I want to share it with you
because it rings so true to life and appreciating and nurturing what we have.

These are such inspiring affirmations which I need to remind myself of each day because if you
don't love yourself, how can you love others? This is especially important to me as I have young
children who I need to set a good example for and really live through example.

Has anyone else noticed the sudden drastic change in the weather lately? Over the past few weeks
here is Brisbane is seems to have gone from humid and hot to quite chilly in the mornings, warming
up throughout the day to become a beautiful balmy perfect day. However nice this change happens to
