Cleansing my face in the morning is one of the top 5 things I do as soon as I wake up! 
I am one of the people who are never fully awake or alert until I have splashed my face with water
(I like it as cold as I can get it for a refreshing hit!) and given it a good old cleanse! 

Once I have slashed my face a few times with ice cold water, I then get the water to a little more than
luke warm temperature to get those pores opening back up and I am ready to cleanse the night of 
dead skin cells and dirt build up down the drain.  

Because I am so passionate about beauty and skincare and being a blogger I am regularly trying out 
new products including facial cleaners and at the moment I am using this beautiful product called
'Cleanse' by Griffin + Row. 

Griffin + Row are an Australian, cruelty free and all natural skincare brand who care about the earth,
with all of their packaging being completely recyclable and use only the necessary natural ingredients
needed for each of their products. There are no parabens, harmful chemicals, artificial colouring or
fragrances. 

This particular product like I mentioned is all natural, yet still a highly effective cleanser suitable for
all skin types. I have normal skin which is neither sensitive or dry. However does get the occasional 
spot here and there with large pores and fine lines. This product no only works to deeply cleanse your
face leaving it feeling like new again, it is also a wonder worker at removing makeup at the end of the day!


As you can see from the back of my hand below, this cleanser does not lather up into a big white
fluffy ball like some cleansers do and this small pea size amount it all you need to use each time! This is because it does not contain the synthetic ingredients whic are put purely into these other products
 simply to create this effect. A lot of times these can be irritating to the skin and cause a rash or 
itching. 

This product has the most gorgeous kind of natural scent about it. It is like deeply taking in the scent
of a bunch of bush roses. With ingredients including - Vitamin E, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Bergamont
 Oil, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Sweet Orange, Lavender and Pink Grapefruit Oils, it is no wonder this
product has me looking forward to my every cleanse both morning and night! The scent alone will
captivate you!

I always moisturise at least once daily and one of the newer products I have been trying out and

Welcome to 2015 everybody! 

Another year has no doubt smacked you in the face weather your woke up
not remembering the night before or sprung out of bed like a new spring chicken ready to put
those new years resolutions into play. 2015 is here and weather or not you partied hard all through
the night or were tucked up in bed before 9pm. Chances are you stayed up (or at least tried to!)
to watch the clock strike midnight and see some fireworks live or on the telly!

In saying that, your skin may be looking and feeling a little on the tired side, so why not start
the new year looking like your young self again with the help of some natural, kind and pampering
beauty products!

Nothing refreshes, detoxifies and deeply cleanses my skin better than a good old fashioned facial
mask! The packet ones you can purchase (and there are millions of different types!) are all well
and good and I have had some great results with them. However to have a nice generous sized
125ml tube of one that works a treat, is so much more convenient and less hassle!

As a mum I am pretty time poor in the 'me time' department so I usually multi task my facial mask
time. For example. I will apply my mask and let it sit whilst I am bathing the kids or after they have
gone to bed whilst I am cleaning up the cyclonic hit lounge room from the busy day just gone.

The results I have received from using this mask over the past few months have been really worth it!

If you've ever used any type of eye roller before, then you know how amazing they feel on your skin,

Being a super busy mum with 2 little toddlers running around, I often get limited sleep time that

ST.TROPEZ



Glowing Summer Skin

With St.Tropez!




Bronzing Mousse

My little 50ml travel size can is perfect for someone like me who doesn't tan year round,
but likes to give it a go every now and again, especially if I'm going out somewhere like the
pool or the beach and don't want to look too much like I live in an igloo!

This Bronzing Mousse comes complete with a pump nozzle which dispenses out around about
a fifty cent size amount of dark brown foam onto your skin. It is recommended to apply this with
a tanning mitt, which I do have, but was too lazy to find, so on this occasion I just used my hands
and well, let's just say now I know why you should wear a tanning mitt because this stuff likes to
turn your hands a toasty shade of black!

Not that I particularly care. I just gave my hands a good wash and scrub and now my hands
are almost back to their original pasty white colour. Besides that, when it comes to the application
and overall finished effect this tanning mousse gives, I rate it rather high! I just rubbed it into my
skin in the recommended circular motion and it blended right in and after a few coats gave me a
gorgeous looking, natural bronze glow as shown in the pic below. :)

Body Polish
RRP: $19.95 (200ml)
My smooth, even, streak free glow wouldn't have been quite as perfect looking if it weren't for
my trusty new Summer companion! The St.Tropez Body Polish preps your skin for tanning
by gently exfoliating the skin with tiny little white circular beads which do not scratch your
 skin resulting in a nice, even, fresh surface for the tan to stick to so it appears nice and smooth.

In addition this also helps to maintain and prolong your tan by evenly scrubbing it off your
skin every few days. So if you're wanting to build up your tan gradually over a few days or weeks
 you can still do that and still have a nice, even surface to apply to each time by using this 24
hours before each tan application. You can even use this on your face to scrub away any dead
skin cells if you like to also tan your face. Just mix a little into a gentle cleanser and use together!

Tip!
Don't forget to moisturise afterwards! This will keep your tan looking fresh and flawless!
Concentrate a little more on the dryer areas of your skin. Knees, elbows, hands and feet
are popular areas for concern. For me, its my back where I tend to get the most dead skin
build up as it's the hardest place to reach when scrubbing!

Is slightly fragranced with a light perfumed scent.

Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Review!



I was recently given the opportunity from Beautyheaven to trial and review a few of the products from the new Ice Shine range from Pantene. I have been loving them so much I thought why not do a blog post to review them in further detail from my video review which can be seen here. :)

My hair is naturally thick, lacks shine, is dry and frizz prone no matter what the weather is like, so this shampoo, conditioner and daily rinse off treatment had a lot of work to do!

As you can see from the before and after photos of my hair, these products are simply amazing and they have done such an incredible job at not only transforming my hair into a more visually appealing mane, it also feels softer, smoother, stronger and all over healthier!
