Priceline is at it again with one of their quick 2 day sales and this time it's all about hair.
Time to stock up on all of your haircare products, hair brushes and hair accessories!

I feel like I blog and make videos quite a bit to do with hair accessories, hair styles and hair tools, 
so here I am with what I would recommend picking up at the sale if you're keen to tell Priceline to
"JUST SHUT UP & TAKE MY MONEY!"

I have been using this on and off between this and my Evoke straightener over the past couple of
months trying to work out which I prefer. At the moment this one in winning the battle! It just seems
to make my hair that little bit more straight and smooth faster. It is a little bit fiddly with the whole
steam function where you have the option of putting water into it to add the steam factor, but it seems
worth while and it's just a bit fun as well. Watch my how to use/review video here!

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Oil-in-Cream
Ever since discovering the first classic iconic L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil a few years ago (Watch full
review video here!) when it comes to using hair oils in my hair I have never looked back! Hair oils
I find just work that much better, especially for dry and damaged hair like my own.
This product is made up of a mix of six different flower oils making the scent and thus your hair
smelling ah-maaazing! Can be used on both wet or dry hair to tame frizz, smooth and nourish
hair deeply improving it's condition more and more with continued use.

This has been my go-to for everyday and lazy days to just throw my hair up and out of my face and
out of the way! During Summer this was especially my best friend, giving me an effortless style and
relaxed look without being too scruffy. Think more elegant, soft ballerina messy bun. To get the look

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Smooth Intense Heat Protect Cream
I have been pretty slack over the past few years and when I ran out of my old heat protectant spray I
just never got around to purchasing a new one. Boy has my hair paid the price for my negligence!
Luckily I was gifted this product at a recent blogger event and have been using it religiously every
time I straighten and blow dry my hair! Not only does this do the obvious in protecting your hair
from heat up to 230 degrees. It also helps to smooth your hair and keeping it that way for longer.
I can definitely see a huge difference since using this, I am now kicking my butt for not using this
sooner!

Having slowly made the tricky transition from deep dark brunette to medium/light blonde over the
past year or so I have tried quite a few different tone correcting products which promise to strip the
brassy and horrible yellow tones. I picked up this duo in a recent Beautorium event over on the
website Beautyheaven and am so glad that I did! These are by FAR the BEST blonde toning
products I have ever used! I can see a difference after just one wash! If you want to maintain your
best blonde then I highly recommend picking these up in the sale. I'm going to!

Since I have almost used up my bottle of the Fudge shampoo mentioned above, I have to again give
thanks to Beautyheaven for giving me the opportunity to try something new to maintain my best
blonde possible with this product by ProVoke. So far so good! I really REALLY need to do my roots
though! (If you have seen some of my recent videos you would probably have noticed!) I have used
this a couple of times already and the results have been just as good as the Fudge. I will be DIY-ing
my roots sometime over the next few days so I will see how it goes on freshly bleached hair.

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Leave In Treatment
Of course all hair needs a little extra TLC from time to time, especially when you are constantly
using heat and product after product on it on a daily basis. My hair has become quite dry from the
lightening so I have been using a lot of hair oils and treatments to pack the moisture and nourishment
back in. I have been using this Extraordinary Oil Treatment 1-2 times per week over the past six
weeks and can definitely notice the change! 

Using this in my shower along with the L'Oreal product mentioned above is this 3 Minute Miracle
treatment. Again I used this 1-2 times per week and have been using it for a few months now.
The overall look and feel of my hair has really changed for the better. My hair is almost back it it's
old pre-lightened healthy self because of this. It is not just a pretty bottle, it is also pretty, no - really,
really good!

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Cica Cream
This product is great because it can be used on either wet or dry hair which means I never have to
think about it when I go to apply it. I love that because, well who really has time for that?
This is great to repairing the hair's damage like split ends and breakage. It also protects the hair from
the everyday elements. Don't be fooled by the plain white cream, it is packed full of something called
Cicamide which can instantly soak into each hair strand giving you immediate results!

Having been cursed with a wild lion's mane looking kind of hair, this is the kind of product practically MADE for me! The dramatic difference from one side of my head to the other is well, dramatic to say the least!

The straightener itself if so pretty with it's purple shimmer design. I could admire it all day! Love that colour! It has a long cord with swivel action and locks securely closed for storage after each use. The heat pad it comes with it great for the straightener to rest onto whilst turned on and in use as to protect your surfaces. The storage bag is pretty nifty too!


The heating temp starts at 170 degrees for fine hair all the way up to 230 degrees for thicker, curly or more wild hair such as my own. What makes this product so unique is the steam function, where you can add water to the straightener which acts as a super straightening feature to give your hair that super smooth, silky look and feel without causing any major damage to the hair! Oh you clever thing you!

I found this to work really well on my hair, with it being so long, thick and frizzy, I really put it to the test! I found it straightened my hair rather quicker than I had expected and I could tell the damage was a whole lot less than what it usually would be as my hair didn't feel at all dry or crunchy once I was all done. An appreciated benefit right there!

Overall, I did find adding the water into the water reservoir quite tricky to begin with, however after a few goes I quickly got the hang of it with minimal mess.

My husband has been DIY-ing his own hair cuts at home for quite a few years now for a number of
reasons. It saves time, money and you get the exact results you are after because you are in complete
control of the whole process from start to finish!

However in saying that he has struggled through a few different products and tools never being 100%
satisfied with what he was using. The tool being either limited in it's range of choice, too blunt, too
complicated, not holding charge or just plain poor quality. So when I got him onto this VS Sassoon

The Crew Cut
How unique and stylishly cool does this crew cutter look?! This is so different and innovative than
any other kind of hair grooming tool I have ever seen. VS Sassoon have really thought out side of the
box with this one and I think they have nailed it on the head (no pun intended!) so to speak in terms 
of design, precision and what the 'every man' needs and wants in their own do it yourself at home,
easy to use, fast and reliable hair groomer at an affordable price and secure 3 year guarantee.

Distinctive in appearance and operation, the circular blade cuts the hair whilst you gently move it
around on your head in a swirling motion, stopping every now and then if a lot of hair begins to
collect in the centre of the blade, then continue on until you have an all over even result.

The clear plastic comb guide can be placed on and adjusted to give 3mm, 6mm, 9.5mm or 12mm
lengths. If you are after a super short 'O' grade style cut, then you can safely use the Crew Cut
without the comb guide attached. (See pic below).

 You obviously cannot use The Crew Cut to get to those more hard to reach places where all that
unwanted hair seems to consistently want to grow. This is where this handy brother to The Crew Cut
- The Trimmer comes into play!

Flawlessly crafted especially for trimmer of hair on the ears, neck and sideburns, this Trimmer gives
you the option of 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm or 15mm trimming lengths when using the 5 position
comb guide.

Both The Crew Cut & Trimmer have been finely crafted using top quality Japanese steel blades and
Lithium-ion technology.



This Trimmer requires 2 AA batteries to
operate which are supplied to you in your
box. As with both the Crew Cut and the
Trimmer, both should be cleaned using the
cleansing brush to remove any excess hair

My husband usually cuts his own hair then
gets me to finish up tidying around his ears
and neck where it's harder for him to see
and then make sure all the hair on his head
has been cut evenly with no spots missed.

It's safe to say with The Crew Cut because
it is guaranteed to give a perfectly even
result there was no going over or tidying
up for me to do. It was all even and looked
like a professional salon cut. The Trimmer
which I am usually reluctant to use as
previously they have been quite rough and
hard to use on my husband's sensitive skin.
However I was able to trim up around his
ears and neck without too much fear of
cutting him or snapping the hair out as this
Trimmer literally just glided right around
those tricky areas with ear and smoothness.

So some of you may have already seen my videos and read my reviews on other VS Sassoon
products made for women. Now I am excited to be able to share with you folks one of their
top quality, highly effective tools just for those lovely men in our lives!

The VS Sassoon i-Twin Trim is perfect for a man like mine whose body is less than bare as a
siamese cat! With twin blades, complete with all of the added extras any man's body will ever
need, this baby is designed to be used on both the face and anywhere on the body as well!

Impressive! So let's get into the details! :)


This man groomer is easily stored in this sleek and handy storage stand which has a place for
everything the i-Twin Trim comes with including - 

The main Twin Blade System
The Rotary Blade (For Nose, Ears & Eyebrows!)
x7 Comb Guides (For Face, Beard, Stubble & Body!)
Lubricating Oil (There is a little slot in the back to store this so it doesn't get lost!)
Cleaning Brush (Also stores neatly in the back for easy reach when needed!)


To break it all down since looking at the image above might seem a bit overwhelming at first, but
trust me once you know what everything is and what it is used for, it couldn't be any simpler!

There is the obvious stand as mentioned before in the top left corner of the image above.
Next to that is your actual i-Twin Trim. Just in front of that is a little tube of lubricating oil.
In front of the oil is the nose, ear & eyebrow trimmer head attachment. To the left of that you will
see the cleaning brush which will quickly and easily whisk away any left over hairs in the blades after
use. Then at the front of the image above you'll see 6 similar looking attachments and one which
appears more square to the right. Let's start with the 3 at the very front. These are called J1, J2 & J3.

J1 - To be used for a 1mm hair trim
J2 - To be used for a 2mm hair trim
J3 - To be used for a 3mm hair trim

Above that are 3 attachments which are each labeled with S1, S2 & S3.

S1 - To be used for a close stubble look
S2 - To be used for a medium stubble look
S3 - To be used for a high stubble look

And finally your square shaped attachment can be used to acquire a 4mm, 6.5mm, 9mm, 11.5mm
or 14mm hair trimmings. 



Now onto the more detailed hair of grooming yet still just as important to keep under check.
The nose, ear and eyebrow hairs on men can sometimes seem to grow more rapidly than on a
woman. This is where this handy device steps into action!

This is surprisingly so easy to use! Once the trimmer is fully charged, unplug it and turn it on.
Insert the tool being careful not to get too enthusiastic by going in too far and just gently and
slowly rotating it around inside as it removes your un-wanted hairs. Pain free!

The i-Twim Twin takes just one hour to fully charge which will last you a good sixty minutes of 
usage time cordlessly using Lithium-ion technology.

VS3Q

3Q Hair Dryer!

Recently I was asked to participate in VS Sassoon's 'Beautiful Hair Challenge' using thier new
3Q Hair Dryer. Of course I want more beautiful hair so how could I pass this opportunity up!

The 3Q's stand for Quick!, Quiet! & Quality! 

Quick because it literally takes about half the normal amount of time to dry your hair.
For me at least it usually takes at least 30 minutes. However with the 3Q it only takes 15 at the most!

Quiet is due to the unique and futuristic technology of the design of this clever dryer.
There are actually no brushes inside of it, hense the lighter feel to most other hair dryers saving
you from arm aches as you're blow drying. Due to this feature it makes the dryer so much
quieter! Clever! I especially love this feature as it means I can still style my hair using this as my
little ones are sleeping.

Quality. Just looking at the slick, silver design of this dryer you can see that it has class.
It doesn't look cheap and it isn't, yet it is still completely affordabe at just $172.95.


It comes complete with a concerntrated nozzle for more controlled, sleek styling as well as
a generous size diffuser to add body and texture to your 'do'!

There are two pressure and two heat settings as well as the cold shot button which is easy to
find due to the cute little snow flake pictured on it.

FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

Yep it's late, 12 days into March already..... let's just get into it! :)

VS Sassoon 3Q Dryer
In case you weren't aware, I recently took part in VS Sassoon's 3Q Beautiful
Hair Challenge. It's made it into my Feb favs so obviously it gave me amazing results.

Paula's Choice Self Tanning Foam
This has had to be one of the most easiest to use self tanning products I've ever
come accross and I have tried about a billion of them.
Check me out using this in my self tanning video below!

Fuse Gelnamel in 'Such A Laser'
Having a gel mani/pedi is so life changing when it comes to doing your nails DIY at home.
I am still amazed at the huge difference it makes and how much longer my polish lasts when I
do them this way. And let's just admore this shade for a moment! I am loving golds lately and
I've always been a silver girl...

Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask
If you are yet to try anything from Indeed Labs then I recommend starting off with these.
They are so simple to use, feel so nice and they are so hydrating and
make a huge positive impact on your skin. My skin has soaked these up and I have been loving
the indulgence of a good old fashioned facial mask at home this past month.

So does anyone really ever look good wearing a cloth facial mask? I think not!
Of course I had to glam it up with ridiculously long fake lashes and matching lippie!
;)

Paula's Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Mattifying Fluid
I have found myself reaching for this daily weather I am having a make-up free day or not.
Either way this stuff keeps my skin looking perfect and I never have that slight grease feeling
by the end of the day. Such an amazing product, I own no other like it! Currently an essential
part of my skincare routine. Watch the video here! :)

GET READY WITH ME!

Pop Of Colour!

I can't help but keep the love theme going with this Pop Of Colour make-up look as pink lips
are just my thing. Always my go to shade no matter what day, season or occasion it is! I am
just drawn to it. So recently when I received this shade in my BellaBox from Laqa & Co I was
thrilled and couldn't wait to play! I lined my lips first with one of my favourite lip liners from
ChiChi called Bimbo. A gorgeous hot pink which helped the Laqa & Co Menatour shade stay
firmly in place and really pop!

Because I felt like playing with a bit of colour, I pulled out my coloured ChiChi eye liners
which I hadn't used in quite a while. I applied both Disco Graffiti and Disco Royalty to my
top lash line over the top of my Maybelline Master Precise black liquid liner which actually looked
alright, however it doesn't seem to show up very well in photos. I don't normally apply liner to my
bottom lashes for day to day wear, however I applied both ChiChi colours and I am really happy
with the result. :) The shadows look quite natural and show up a little more understated in photos,
however the Maybelline ExpertWear eyeshadows I am wearing are actually my favourite right
now and I have been wearing this particular quad the most. If you're interested, you can watch

Of course (and I always say this) my make-up is nothing without a decent base.
To get this even, smooth finish I was a bit lazy and skipped on primer for no reason in particular.
I jumped right in a applied my Maybelline Better Skin Foundation with my Beauty Blender and
then went in under my eyes with the matching Maybelline Better Skin Concealer to conceal my
tired, sleep deprived eyes. Oh! And how can I forget my brows. I recently ran out of my Avon
brow pencil and have been switching between my Maybelline Brow Mascara and the one I've
used here which is actually an eye pencil by L'Oreal but both the formul and shade work
perfectly on my brows. It keeps them in place and looking groomed but still natural.

To complete my overall look, I have framed my face with my hair using my current obsession.
The VS Sasoon Evoke straightener which is this gorgeous pink which matches my lips to a tee!
The L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil does my hair so much good by calming down my fly aways,
frizz and makes my hair feel silky smooth and soft. Bottle of pure gold this stuff!

CURL SECRET

 I have to say I am quite in love with my Curl Secret!
Never before have I seen or used a curling tool quite like this!
The design is so different and unique and it works so incredibly well at creating strong,
defined and lasting curls in three different sizes.
You can create soft, medium or loose curls depending on the setting you choose.
 It provides you with two heating setting levels to cater for fine or thick, course hair.
I personally prefer the heat setting on my styling tools in general to be the hotter the better!
I know this is not ideal for any hair type, however it just saves time and makes my hair easier to tame.
My hair type is long, (not as long as it was though as I got sick of it last night & gave myself a DIY chop!)
 thick and prone to be frizzy and just generally difficult to manage, however I found it really easy using this tool!
The Curl Secret comes with it's own small cleaning tool which helps to keep the inside of the hair roller dust
hair and product free. The small pads attached to it can be easily removed to be washed and re-used easily.
When it comes to the overall design of the Curl Secret, I think it has been quite cleverly done.
 It is unlike any other curling tool I have ever seen. The heating rod is completely tucked away so it is
 pretty much impossible to burn yourself!

It comes complete with a dust/travel draw string storage bag to keep your wand safely in. 
This comes in very handy when travelling or just to help keep it looking good as new when stored away safely.

You can honestly get away with using the Curl Secret without any extra hair products.
 (Apart from a good heat protectant!) Hair sprays and gels are not required.
 When using the Curl Secret I find my curls stay bouncy and barely loose their shape throughout the whole day! 
If you're a Curl Secret first timer, then I highly recommend reading the instructions provided before you begin!
 As this is not just your average hair curling wand, you might be thinking - "Wow! This looks complicated!"
 However, practice really does make perfect because once you know how to use this it really is so simple
and quick to get amazing lust worthy curls! :)
