Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm
80ml $38.95
This kind of product is completely new to me! Can you believe this beauty blogger has never before
used a Cleansing Balm?! Needless to say I was very intrigued to try this one out as Trilogy is a brand
I have used quite a bit in the past after winning a huge hamper of their products a few years ago on
Facebook. (Thank you Trilogy!)

This product is unique in a few ways. Firstly you have your very own organic cotton cleansing cloth
included in the box. The ingredients are all natural and the scent is a mild yet deliciously satisfying
blend of mango seed butter and coconut oil. This New Zealand, all natural, cruelty free brand is
middle of the range affordable, gentle on the skin and supports ethical trade practices.

This cleansing makeup remover is a thick, solid oily wax in a jar. To use, I place two clean fingers
onto the balm and as it quickly begins to melt beneath my fingers I dig about a twenty cent size
amount out and divide it between two fingers on my other hand and begin to massage it onto my face.

This really is a wondrous product as it removes even the most heaviest of my makeup wearing days.
As I massage the product into my skin, foundation, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara and lipstick all
melt away with ease. No need for excessive rubbing and all of this is then wiped away with the
organic cotton cleansing cloth leaving my skin so soft and hydrated. After doing this, I still feel a
small amount of residue on my face, so I follow afterwards with my usual facial cleanser, serum
and night cream, etc! The most impressive and quite surprising part of this routine I would have to
say would be how easily this balm removes even my waterproof mascara and colour stay 24hr liquid
lipsticks!

The cleansing cloth can just be rinsed out with warm soapy water, left to dry and re-used again
and again.

Trilogy Cream Cleanser
100ml $22.95
To see how these two products would go working together. Whilst testing out the Make-Up Be Gone
Cleansing Balm, I decided I might as well use this cleanser after it and then also use this cleanser in
the mornings before applying any makeup. The results have been really quite good actually!

With ingredients including rosehip, which Trilogy are known for using in so many of their products.
Works to hydrate, strengthen and repair the skin. There is also evening primrose seed oil which treats
dry and damaged skin repairing the cells and looks after the new ones. Carrot is full of powerful
antioxidants and also works in protecting the skin from everyday elements. This product is suitable
for all skin types including those highly sensitive.

The cleanser is creamy and milky on the skin. It leaves my skin gently cleansed yet still effectively
cleansed as well as feeling soft and visibly refreshed and brighter.

The official Trilogy website where you can shop the products directly online offer an easy and
generous rewards program. So if you are interested in stocking up or trying out this brand be sure to

NATURAL SKINCARE

~  HARVEST GARDEN  ~
Pamper & Indulge
A Look At Natural Skincare!

Coconut Body Polish 150gm
I am so good when it comes to completely cleansing my body head to toe each day in the shower,
however honestly I don't often use a body polish or scrub as I just own a bundle more cleansers and
so that is what I reach for most often. In saying that I do notice the build up of dead and hardened
skin when I leave it go too long and my skin can begin to appear dull and less than smooth.

This Coconut Body Polish smells EXACTLY like a day spa! All natural and super relaxing!
Contains - Epsom Salt, Virgin Coconut Oil, Australian Pink Clay, Dried Rose Buds, Dried
Calendula Flowers, Sweet Orange Essential Oil & Rose Geranium Essential Oil.

How cute and handy is the little scoop in the jar?! I have been using between 3-5 scoops per shower
depending on how much I feel I need that day. This leaves your skin smelling gorgeous and I love
the soft feeling from the moisturising coconut oil and smoothness from the other ingredients blended
together. I don't even have to bother moisturising afterwards as it has all been taken care of in this
polish, clever little guy!

Harvest Garden Coconut Body Polish - RRP: $15.00AU (Shop!)

Gentle Facial Scrub 70gm
I love facial scrubs and always notice a significant difference every time I use one! Somehow I find
my skin tends to build up more on my face than on my body, that I notice anyway! So regular facial
scrubbing is a must for me otherwise the surface of my skin becomes rough, super dull and tends to
break out more frequently with blackheads being more noticeable than usual. Ew!

What I like most about this all natural, all Aussie made Gentle Facial Scrub is it's unique dry blend of
ingredients. These include - Powdered Goats Milk, Ground Oatmeal, Sodium Bicarbonate, Ground
Calendula Petals, Folic Acid & Olive Leaf Extract.

So you may be wondering how to use a dry facial scrub as opposed to a wet one? Well it's actually
really simple and you can even mix in pretty much any wet mix you like to suit you own personal
flavour. Harvest Garden recommends using water, honey, floral water or apple cider vinegar. I
personally find just using water to be the most convenient, however I have also tried using Manuka
Honey which is nice and thick and makes it really easy to apply.

I also have tons of Aloe vera growing in my back yard which I haven't tried mixing in with this yet,
however I am thinking about it as I figure it would feel quite soothing and add to the lovely natural
scent!

Harvest Garden Gentle Facial Polish - RRP: $15.00AU (Shop!)

Intensive Facial Cream 60gm
This Intensive Facial Cream can be used both day and night, however as it is rich in intensive hard
working skin loving ingredients it is recommended to use more as a night cream for best results as
our skin works it's hardest healing the skin and regenerating new cells as we sleep.

This smooth light, whipped, creamy blend smells divine and is a dream on the skin with ingredients
including - Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, Green Tea Extract, Lavender Essential Oil, Rose
Geranium Essential Oil & Patchouli Essential Oils.

Like many other Harvest Garden products you will find your own little scoop inside to use to scoop
out your product to minimise contamination and prolong the life of the product.

With the weather being so hot lately (I am sure many of you can relate!) sometimes Harvest Garden
products can melt a little as they aren't bound together nor contain with any toxic chemicals, synthetic
fragrances, artificial colours, parabens or palm oil. However popping then into the fridge will quickly
being then back up to a less runny consistency. :)

Harvest Garden Intensive Facial Cream - RRP: $20.00AU (Shop!)

Herbal Balm 110gm
This Herbal Balm is one of those clever little must have multi-use products which come in handy for
the whole family for different reasons and you find yourself thanking your lucky stars you own it at
times when you need it the most.

With a solid melt in your hands creamy natural oil based consistency this balm does a whole
multitude of things including healing the skin from nappy rash, minor burns, scabs, dry skin, minor
cuts and grazes as well as dry chapped lips!

Ingredients include a blend of all 100% natural Australian Virgin Coconut Oil, Calendula Infused
Olive Oil, Calendula Infused Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Beeswax and
Vitamin E.

I have been using this mainly as a dry skin and chapped lips moisturiser and even used it on my son's
cheeky little butt-butt with no irritation or flare ups. This stuff is so gentle to even baby's skin!
I have found this to also deeply moisturise the dry brittle ends of my hair, so really you can go to
town experimenting with what works for you with this multi-use product. I highly recommend
having a jar in the house. I keep mine in the fridge as it gives an ultra cooling effect to the skin this
way and feels super refreshing on hot days like the ones we've been having lately!

HAIR & ME

~  HAIR & ME  ~

Hair Rejuvenation Treatment

RRP: $19.95

My hair has had a hard tough life. You name it I've most likely tried it! From every hair craze or
trend which come and go as often as I wash my hair! Teasing, straightening, back combing, curling,
crimping, dying, chalking, bleaching.... it's all been there!

My latest obsession of late has been gradually going back to blonde. I used to bleach the absolute
crap out of my hair in my late teens/early 20's admittedly completely damaging the crap out of it to
the point of it beginning to fall out! And even then I couldn't stop. I loooved being a blondie!

So I am going back! But this time instead of DIY-ing, I'm leaving it to a professional and visiting the
salon. I am a jack of many trades, lightening my hair safely and properly is definitely not one of them!

Even though I have been lightening my hair gradually, going lighter means hair is always going to
be under more stress than usual and that means lots of TLC is required.

That's where this Hair & Me Rejuvenation Treatment has recently stepped into my routine to help!

This treatment contains coconut, macadamia, jojoba and almond oils which sounds like a delicious
blend all in itself so I am sure I don't need to go convincing you on just how wonderful and
deeply moisturising and nourishing it is to your hair. Not to mention the smell! Omg, the scent
of this treatment is 100% delicious and reminds me of one of my favourite sweet treats - Coconut Ice!

Sooo, as a blogger it's my passion to talkabout and share this stuff so don't even try to stop me,
I can't and won't so don't even try, it's impossible! (Just ask my husband!) ;)

To me, this oily mix seems ultra concentrated because I found even a small amount (about the same
amount you would use to shampoo your hair) to be sufficient to get the job done. Even on my long
and relatively thick hair, the combination of oils seem to coat every strand of hair completely.

(Left - My hair after a few applications. So silky smooth & healthy! Right - With the treatment worked through my hair.)

Once the recommended time is up (30-45 minutes) and it's time to shampoo the treatment out, even
as I am rinsing I can feel the difference in how my hair feels. It is smoother and silkier as I let the
warm water rinse the oils away. Feeling like most of it has fused into the cuticles of each strand.

Once dry it has been a whole lot easier to manage! I don't even straighten it as much anymore
because the main reason I straighten my hair in the first place is to keep the constant frizz under
control, but now there is a whole lot less of that I can give my hair a break and let my natural
waves be wild and free ... and they actually behave themselves! No really! Now I can leave my hair
out loose the whole day without having to shove it up in a high pony or messy bun half way through
because my hair has driven me crazy and I just can't take it anymore!

:)
(Hair & Me Rejuvenation Treatment coming out of the pack in the cold Winter air. Approx 8degrees!)

(Hair & Me Rejuvenation Treatment melted once warmed in your hand ready to apply!)

Vegan friendly & cruelty free! What's not to love?!

Hair & Me currently only stock a limited number of hair products, but since trying this one it's
clear to me their other products are probably worth a look at too!

DIRTY WORKS

~  DIRTY WORKS  ~

COCONUT BODY BUTTER!

If you've been reading my blog for a while or know me personally you'll know how obsessed
I am with coconut scented things! That along with vanilla and milk & honey are my stand out
favourite flavours when it comes to beauty products.

This Coconut Body Butter by Dirty Works has had me smelling like a sweet coconut desert each night recently and I am loving it! I have been applying this after showering as it absorbs so much
better on damp skin and blends right into my skin like a dream. It also doesn't feel sticky which is great because I have tried some body butters in the past (particularly sweet scented ones) which
tend to leave a sticky and sickly sweet scent without soaking into or doing much if anything for
 my skin.

This generous sized 300ml tub however has made my skin feel so smooth and soft. Waking up in
the morning, I can tell it has done it's job overnight at replenishing my skin with moisture and getting
rid of the dryness, especially the scaly skin on my knees and the skin on and around my feet.

As you can see from both the pic above and below, this body butter is so thick and ultra creamy
and just so much fun to use! It is so inviting at times I feel like diving right in there!

The purple tub is such a gorgeous purple and as an obsessive beauty product junkie I am now
lusting after the matching Coco Cabana Coconut Wash and matching Life's A Beach Coconut Scrub!

Check out http://www.dirtyworksbeauty.com for more adorably cute products & further info!

Dirty Works products are available to purchase here in Australia from Target & Coles.
This particular product currently RRP's for just $9.95!
