VANILLA BEAN CANDLE

THE TREASURY OF CANDLES!
-
Vanilla Bean Scented
+
 Jewellery Hidden Inside!

Time to get your romance on - it's Valentine's Day tomorrow!! If you've been following my Instagram
you may have noticed my love theme going on over there giving you a few ideas to get your prepped
and ready for the day of love.

Today I am just bursting to tell you all about this romantic aromatic glorious soy wax scented candle
which is packaged like luxury in this sturdy black box presented complete with an organza coloured
ribbon and  neat little bow on the top. There are 11 different scents to choose from at The Treasury Of
Candles and each is presented with a different coloured ribbon.

Scents available are - Vanilla Bean / French Pear / Maple Syrup & Pumpkin Waffle / Lemon Vanilla
Cupcake / Lychee & Black Tea / Spiced Fruits / Blueberry Muffin / Warm Woods & Bonfire Nights /
Clean Cotton & Honeysuckle / Exotic Lychee / Chocolate Orange Truffle.

As I am a bit of a vanilla nut, of course I was drawn to choose the Vanilla Bean scented candle and my
goodness does it smell like a vanilla lovers dream!

Housed in a tall white recyclable glass with shiny gold lid. It really is a beauty! These Treasury candles
have a super long burn time of up to 80 hours! That's at least 8 bubble baths long! ;)

Now for the fun part! What makes this candle so unique is that there is a hidden treasure inside!
In each candle there is a ring valued from between $25 - $7,500!

Impatient as anything I lit my candle and waited for what seemed like forever until I finally saw
something silver poking up from underneath the melted wax. Ok, so I only wait about an hour until I
saw something, grabbed my tweezers and started tugging and digging to get it out!

Low and behold as you can see in the image below, the ring is securely wrapped inside a snap tight
clear plastic bag and then wrapped agin in some foil.

The tag on my ring says it is a size 7 which I guess is the average size for most people. However it is a
bit big for me and fits most comfortably on my pointer finger next to my thumb.

It is a lovely ring with 5 emerald green gems set in silver and according to The Treasuring Of
Candles website is valued at $79!

So if you're interested in treating yourself, a friend or someone you love this Valentine's Day why not
get them something a little different, unique, smells great creates a romantic atmosphere and well -
Jewellery!

Each candle is $59.95 each with FREE SHIPPING!

Also available which you can purchase directly from their website is their handy little gold plated
Candle Snuffer and Wick Trimmer at $24.95 each.

Have you tried these types of candles before?
What are your thoughts on finding a hidden treasure inside?

NUDE BY NATURE

~  NUDE BY NATURE  ~

Pressed Natural Mineral Cover

http://www.nudebynature.com.au
Nude By Nature Pressed Mineral Powder in 'Light' - $39.95 (Shop!)

I have recently been using this lovely pressed mineral powder in the shade 'Light' which is my general shade when it comes to facial makeup products as my skin is quite light, but not fair. Upon opening the very glam packaging (sleek box and cloth pouch complete with dark brown round compact & sponge) I was quite surprised at how dark the powder appeared! I had to double check I had the correct shade, which I did. (Phew!)

I usually do not like to use any kind of sponge when it comes to applying makeup as for me the product seems to get lost in the sponge and does not transfer well onto my skin. However this sponge wasn't too bad, still I prefer to use a fluffy brush as it seems to get the powder the cover more even and give a more flawless finish.
I am really impressed with the coverage, especially when it comes to my pores. Mine are a bit big around my cheeks near my nose and the powder covered them quite well without settling into them even towards the end of the day which is what I normally experience.
I am enjoying the light feeling this gives on my skin and I find I can get away without having to touch up throughout the day, however as it gets hotter as Summer approaches I am sure I may need to at least once as I tend to get a bit oily when it gets super hot.

Big points to Nude By Nature for being cruelty free, naturally derived and Australian made!
A beautiful product I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new pressed powder to try. A great handy size which fits perfectly into a small makeup bag or purse and the mirror is a 100% must for me as I am always rummerging around my bag in search of mine which seems to live a life of it's own and only reappears once I have given up looking for it
and no longer need it!

RIMMEL LONDON

~  RIMMEL LONDON  ~

BB Cream Radiance & Lasting Finish Powder Foundation

Review!

I don't think I will ever tired of trying out new foundations, powders or BB creams trying to perfect
my base to it's best flawless finish. Recently I have been trying out these two newbies and I am
loving the combo for everyday wear.

Rimmel London BB Radiance available in Very Light, Light & Medium.
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Powder Foundation available in Light Porcelain, Soft Beige,
Silky Beige & Warm Honey.

Rimmel London Radiance BB Cream in 'Light'

I probably have about ten to fifteen different brands of BB Creams in my collection so obviously
I have had my fair share of experience with them and this Rimmel London Radiance BB Cream
really does make my skin radiant! Considering that it is nine in one is pretty impressive to me.

Those nine being -
Priming
Concealing
Smoothing
Minimises Pores
Natural Coverage
Radiant Finish
Brightening
Awakens Skin
Moisturising

This dermatologist tester super cream contains Vitamin C which is the main powerful ingredient
which aids in all of the above particually brightening and awakening the skin. I notice an instant
quite dramatic difference in the appearance of my skin when I apply this in the morning. It looks
like my skin instantly perfected, like a mini face lift in my bathroom! :)

As you can see from the swatches below the shade I have been using in light is a perfect match for
my skin tone. I would recommend the 'Very Light' shade for very light/fair skin and 'Medium' for
warmer, sun kissed tones.

You only require a pea size amound of product which seems to just blend right into the skin leaving
a very natural ironed out result. It doesn't feel greasy, nor does it cake up or flake throughout the day,
but stays looking like I am not wearing make-up at all. I love that it's like my secret to looking and
and staying awake and fresh all day.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25hr Powder Foundation in 'Soft Beige'

What I find interesting and unique about this product is that is can be applied either as a dry finishing
powder over your regular foundation or BB cream or as a buildable full coverage foundation when
applied wet. I like having these two options to choose from when doing my make-up so I can rely on
this one product to get me though whatever the occasion may be.

The swatch below shows the powder when dry. It is a compact powder which is smooth and very
light on the skin, yet still gives a decent amount of coverage. When applied wet however, this
gives much more of a flawless result whilst still retaining it's natural finish.

The compact itself if housed in a plastic red firmly sealed curved square complete with clear lid,
mirror and applicator sponge stored underneith the product. I personally LOVE products which
house inbuild mirrors as I am forever applying my make-up on the go and nine times out of ten
you can bet I either have forgotten my mirror or do not have access to one and have to free hand
it hoping for the best! Yes, scary!! So thank you Rimmel London make-up packaging designers,
you have met this woman's needs!

NEARLY NAKED

~ REVLON ~

Nearly Naked Foundation

Review!

If you're after a super light weight, pretty good coverage foundation for the
warmer Spring/Summer months ahead, then read on this one could be for you!

I have been so happy with this foundation,
it is by far one of the best I've used in a while!
The formula glides on my skin so smoothly and is super easy to blend.
It is a little on the runny side,
is doesn't have a pump so I tend to
pour a bit on the back
of my hand and go from there.

Once you've applied it (you only need a thin layer) it just looks
like your own skin, only at it's best!
Similar to the effect a BB cream gives.
Amazing,
because you can't even feel you're wearing any foundation.
 It is that light!
I love that it doesn't stay wet or look shiny on my skin so I don't need
to use a powder over the top.
Long lasting, it keeps you looking fresh all day and stays put on your face.
No one would ever know you're wearing foundation,
but instead think you just have really amazing skin!
It evens out my skin tone perfectly and minimises my pores quite well.
I love the nice, sturdy, glass bottle. It is pretty, plain and clean.
I especially like that because it suits the name 'Nearly Naked'.
Clever! :)
There is only the slightest hint of a foundation/makeup
smell to this product, but nothing you notice once applied to your skin.
The SPF 20 factor is a great bonus and doesn't feel greasy in the slightest!
My shade to suit my light olive skin is in Shell 130 which is a perfect match!
