RIMMEL LONDON

~  RIMMEL LONDON  ~

BB Cream Radiance & Lasting Finish Powder Foundation

Review!

I don't think I will ever tired of trying out new foundations, powders or BB creams trying to perfect
my base to it's best flawless finish. Recently I have been trying out these two newbies and I am
loving the combo for everyday wear.

Rimmel London BB Radiance available in Very Light, Light & Medium.
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Powder Foundation available in Light Porcelain, Soft Beige,
Silky Beige & Warm Honey.

Rimmel London Radiance BB Cream in 'Light'

I probably have about ten to fifteen different brands of BB Creams in my collection so obviously
I have had my fair share of experience with them and this Rimmel London Radiance BB Cream
really does make my skin radiant! Considering that it is nine in one is pretty impressive to me.

Those nine being -
Priming
Concealing
Smoothing
Minimises Pores
Natural Coverage
Radiant Finish
Brightening
Awakens Skin
Moisturising

This dermatologist tester super cream contains Vitamin C which is the main powerful ingredient
which aids in all of the above particually brightening and awakening the skin. I notice an instant
quite dramatic difference in the appearance of my skin when I apply this in the morning. It looks
like my skin instantly perfected, like a mini face lift in my bathroom! :)

As you can see from the swatches below the shade I have been using in light is a perfect match for
my skin tone. I would recommend the 'Very Light' shade for very light/fair skin and 'Medium' for
warmer, sun kissed tones.

You only require a pea size amound of product which seems to just blend right into the skin leaving
a very natural ironed out result. It doesn't feel greasy, nor does it cake up or flake throughout the day,
but stays looking like I am not wearing make-up at all. I love that it's like my secret to looking and
and staying awake and fresh all day.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25hr Powder Foundation in 'Soft Beige'

What I find interesting and unique about this product is that is can be applied either as a dry finishing
powder over your regular foundation or BB cream or as a buildable full coverage foundation when
applied wet. I like having these two options to choose from when doing my make-up so I can rely on
this one product to get me though whatever the occasion may be.

The swatch below shows the powder when dry. It is a compact powder which is smooth and very
light on the skin, yet still gives a decent amount of coverage. When applied wet however, this
gives much more of a flawless result whilst still retaining it's natural finish.

The compact itself if housed in a plastic red firmly sealed curved square complete with clear lid,
mirror and applicator sponge stored underneith the product. I personally LOVE products which
house inbuild mirrors as I am forever applying my make-up on the go and nine times out of ten
you can bet I either have forgotten my mirror or do not have access to one and have to free hand
it hoping for the best! Yes, scary!! So thank you Rimmel London make-up packaging designers,
you have met this woman's needs!

LANCOME

~  LANCOME  ~

NEW

Renergie Multi-Lift!

Having turned 31 at the very beginning of the year really nailed it into me just how fast
my 30's are already progressing and how long ago my 20's seemed!

Now, more than ever I am focused on my anti-ageing skincare regime and fighting the inevitable battle of getting older.

When products like this one come my way I get so excited as this would not normally be a product
within my budget to purchase for myself.

This product is a luxe treat and one I am treating like a little tub of pure gold,
because at the end of the day, I'd rather have flawless, perfect skin than a tub of gold any day!
Vein? Yep!

My bedroom decor has a few mirrored furniture pieces and the packaging of this fits in like family.
The silver box with it's gold signature rose accent is so gorgeous and lady like.
The beauty only continues as you open up the box and delve inside the violet casing.

The formula has a rich, pretty scent which reminds me of a well kept older woman. Dripping in
pearls and diamonds with her make-up perfectly applied. Every time I apply this ulta light, creamy
gel like cream I imagine I will be like that in my 60's, 70's and beyond. (Or however long I last
on this earth!) Still looking around 30 when I'm in my 70's?! Yes please!

At the moment though, my skin is behaving pretty well. It seems to have grown out it it's acne
fit and it is a lot less oily than it used to be. I would classify my skin as normal with a few fine lines
around my eyes when I smile as well as those deep worry lines across my forehead. Other than that,
my skin is okay.

Since using this Lancome NEW Renergie Multi-Lift Cream, I have noticed my skin to feel much
softer. The skin on my neck and chest area seem to be much smoother and less irritated. I seem
to get random red rashes in this area about once a day whenever I am stressed or anxious and
I feel like this cream has calmed it all down since applying this cream.

As for the multi-lift effect. The only place I feel like has had gravity take to it a tiny bit is my cheeks.
In some photos I can tell they're not as plump as they once were.  After about a week of using this
cream twice daily, I can see, even without taking a picture, my skin has lifted ever so slightly!
I'm not sure how long the effect will last, but I am loving it! It makes so much difference to my
confidence, especially when I smile! So amazed as no other product I've used has ever achieved
this effect!

Overall a really lovely cream which I highly recommend. I don't see how anyone wouldn't
love using this and wouldn't love it!

JERGENS

~   J   E   R   G   E   N   S   ~
                                                                                    Since 1901!

Be   Beautiful   From   Head   To   Toe  !

Jergens Daily Moisture
RRP:$5.99 (250ml)

Funny story - You know when before you use a product for the first time, you snap open
the lid and take a whiff? Well, whilst taking my usual sniff I must have stupidly given the bottle
a little squeeze and lucky me in turn received a pop of lovely smelling moisture cream straight
up my nose! Why do these thing always happen to me?

The formula of this product is light, white and a bit creamy. It's lightly scented citrus which mostly
fades after application but lingers slightly. I have been loving this because it soaks straight into
my skin and doesn't leave it feeling slimy which is essential in this heat at the moment!
When if gets super hot like it has been lately I have been known to skip moisturising because
some creams just seem to suffocate my skin not letting it breathe and in turn makes me feel
even hotter than I already am and like I am just sweating it off because it's not soaking in.
This product however feels so light that as soon as I've applied it all over my body each morning
I can get dressed straight away without feeling like I'm getting the cream all over my clothes.

This product has an illuminating blend and silk proteins which I think gives my skin a healthy
looking glow! I have in particular noticed a huge difference in the skin on my knees which is
prone to always looking dry and white. My skin in this area now looks and feels like the rest of
my legs. Smoother, softer and looking radiant!

Also available in 100ml, 400ml & 650ml bottles!

Jergens Natural Glow
RRP:$10.99 (221ml)

I never go out in the sun to obtain a 'healthy glow' as I am too health conscious and I just
won't do it! I do however love a 'fake healthy glow!' :) This is where I love using products like
this new Jergens Natural Glow because it gives you a natural looking tan gradually without looking
streaky, orange or like you've just painted it on! I have been using this daily on my hibernated super
white legs and body for about 2 weeks and I started to see a noticeable glow after about the 3rd
application. My skin looks like it now matches the scorching hot weather we've been having lately!
Golden, fresh and my most favourite benefit of a good tan - looking noticeably more toned even
though I haven't stepped foot into a gym! :)

The formula of this is white and creamy. Thicker than the Daily Moisture yet it is just as easy to
apply and also soaks right into the skin. It is lightly scented and I adore the smell!
Contains a gorgeous mix of ingredients including a bunch of skin benefiting oils which I have
been loving lately including - Avocado & Jojoba oils as well as flower extract and caramel, yum!

I have been applying this at night after showering to ensure my skin is freshly buffed and my
legs shaved, etc before application to achieve the best looking result possible, and it's working!
My skin doesn't exactly look like the flawless Jergens ambassador Cheyenne Tozzi, but it
is getting there, mostly! ;)

Also available in Medium To Tan!
