50% OFF HAIR

PRICELINE 50% OFF HAIR SALE!

17 - 18 AUGUST!

http://www.priceline.com.au
- - -

Priceline is at it again with one of their quick 2 day sales and this time it's all about hair.
Time to stock up on all of your haircare products, hair brushes and hair accessories!

I feel like I blog and make videos quite a bit to do with hair accessories, hair styles and hair tools
so here I am with what I would recommend picking up at the sale if you're keen to tell Priceline to
"JUST SHUT UP & TAKE MY MONEY!"

I have been using this on and off between this and my Evoke straightener over the past couple of
months trying to work out which I prefer. At the moment this one in winning the battle! It just seems
to make my hair that little bit more straight and smooth faster. It is a little bit fiddly with the whole
steam function where you have the option of putting water into it to add the steam factor, but it seems
worth while and it's just a bit fun as well. Watch my how to use/review video here!

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Oil-in-Cream
Ever since discovering the first classic iconic L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil a few years ago (Watch full
review video here!) when it comes to using hair oils in my hair I have never looked back! Hair oils
I find just work that much better, especially for dry and damaged hair like my own.
This product is made up of a mix of six different flower oils making the scent and thus your hair
smelling ah-maaazing! Can be used on both wet or dry hair to tame frizz, smooth and nourish
hair deeply improving it's condition more and more with continued use.

This has been my go-to for everyday and lazy days to just throw my hair up and out of my face and
out of the way! During Summer this was especially my best friend, giving me an effortless style and
relaxed look without being too scruffy. Think more elegant, soft ballerina messy bun. To get the look
be sure to watch my hair tutorial video right here for how to get the look!

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Smooth Intense Heat Protect Cream
I have been pretty slack over the past few years and when I ran out of my old heat protectant spray I
just never got around to purchasing a new one. Boy has my hair paid the price for my negligence!
Luckily I was gifted this product at a recent blogger event and have been using it religiously every
time I straighten and blow dry my hair! Not only does this do the obvious in protecting your hair
from heat up to 230 degrees. It also helps to smooth your hair and keeping it that way for longer.
I can definitely see a huge difference since using this, I am now kicking my butt for not using this
sooner!

Having slowly made the tricky transition from deep dark brunette to medium/light blonde over the
past year or so I have tried quite a few different tone correcting products which promise to strip the
brassy and horrible yellow tones. I picked up this duo in a recent Beautorium event over on the
website Beautyheaven and am so glad that I did! These are by FAR the BEST blonde toning
products I have ever used! I can see a difference after just one wash! If you want to maintain your
best blonde then I highly recommend picking these up in the sale. I'm going to!

Since I have almost used up my bottle of the Fudge shampoo mentioned above, I have to again give
thanks to Beautyheaven for giving me the opportunity to try something new to maintain my best
blonde possible with this product by ProVoke. So far so good! I really REALLY need to do my roots
though! (If you have seen some of my recent videos you would probably have noticed!) I have used
this a couple of times already and the results have been just as good as the Fudge. I will be DIY-ing
my roots sometime over the next few days so I will see how it goes on freshly bleached hair.

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Leave In Treatment
Of course all hair needs a little extra TLC from time to time, especially when you are constantly
using heat and product after product on it on a daily basis. My hair has become quite dry from the
lightening so I have been using a lot of hair oils and treatments to pack the moisture and nourishment
back in. I have been using this Extraordinary Oil Treatment 1-2 times per week over the past six
weeks and can definitely notice the change!

Using this in my shower along with the L'Oreal product mentioned above is this 3 Minute Miracle
treatment. Again I used this 1-2 times per week and have been using it for a few months now.
The overall look and feel of my hair has really changed for the better. My hair is almost back it it's
old pre-lightened healthy self because of this. It is not just a pretty bottle, it is also pretty, no - really,
really good!

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Cica Cream
This product is great because it can be used on either wet or dry hair which means I never have to
think about it when I go to apply it. I love that because, well who really has time for that?
This is great to repairing the hair's damage like split ends and breakage. It also protects the hair from
the everyday elements. Don't be fooled by the plain white cream, it is packed full of something called
Cicamide which can instantly soak into each hair strand giving you immediate results!

Will you be shopping at the sale?
What's on your wish list?

HAIR TATTOOS

~ SCUNCI ~
HAIR & BODY TATTOOS

Forever the fashionista that is me. Always intrigued and interested by passing trends which come and
go as quickly as the seasons and then somehow seems to make their way right back around again. I
am always up for something new and different when it comes to the big flamboyant brave and
fearless world that is the fashion industry.

Body tattoos are a trend which I feel like has come and gone between being cool and then not so
much throughout my whole life. They have been around for a long time. However only recently have
I come to know body tattoos as being something so much prettier than just your average bubble gum
freebie or tacky show bag insert. Now-a-days body tatts have become much more beautiful looking
and now even transitioned from skin onto hair and I am loving this new boho coachella inspired trend!

Watch my HOW-TO apply & inspired fashion video below!
Thumbs up, comments & subscribers are most welcomed!'
Thank you! xo

This particular set from Scunci comes with two sheets. One silver and one gold, both with a range
of different designs on each of them. All are very pretty! From butterflies, leaves, chevron patterns
and flowers. There is something to suit all tastes and styles.

To apply, you simply use the same process as you would when applying a regular body tattoo. Peel
off the clear top sheet, place the tattoo still on the paper onto clean, dry skin. Next use a damp wet
towel or sponge and press firmly down on the skin for about 20-30 seconds. Gently peel away the
paper to reveal the temporary tattoo stuck neatly onto your hair! Pretty amazing and so easy and it
adds something different to your average everyday hair styles. So now I bet you're wondering how on
earth you get them out of your hair? Well that was my first question too! No need to freak out though.
These tatts will just wash out when you wash your hair. Phew! :)

My personal favourites were the ones pictured below. From the gold sheet, I couldn't go past these
gorgeous tribal patterned tear drops and from the silver I mixed three of these cute little flowers and a
line of dots on each side of my neck where a necklace would naturally sit so it looks like one! This
one is actually my most favourite! I love that you can mix and match them together to create different
patterns, looks and vibes. From girlie, boho, tribal to edgy and a bit more cool looking.

You can pick up this 2 pack of Scunci Hair & Body tattoos from Priceline, Big W, Coles, Target &
Toys R Us here in Australia for just $9.95!

Have you ever used body tatts?
How do you feel about temporary hair tattoos?

QUICK TWIST

~  Scunci Quick Twist  ~

-

I recently filmed a romantic boho inspired hairstyle using this which you can view below...

This is not just for kids! I am in my 30's and love using this! I remember trying to twist my hair in all sorts of different ways as a kid and in high school. Looking up to my big sister who always seemed to be able to create this kind of hair style with ease. I could never master it and eventually gave up.

Fast forward many years later and now I can finally have as many twists as my heart desires whenever I want in literally seconds! It is soooo easy to use and so quick to create PERFECT looking twists!

You need to purchase the batteries separately, and then you're good to begin. Your hair just locks into place in two sections on top of the device. It holds onto your hair nice and tight without pulling or feeling too tight. Then with just the push of a button the Scunci Quick Twist begins to twist your hair in about 3 seconds and then you just push the other button and it then twists the two strands of twisted hair neatly together. Wa-la! Done in 5 seconds! Ah I love this thing! :)

The tool also comes complete with hair accessories including ribbon, lace, bobby pins and clear hair elastics. Very handy and a great little bonus!

Highly recommend if you want to try something new that is quick, easy and a bit fun!
The Scunci Quick Twist (RRP $29.95) plus a huge variety of other Scunci products and accessories
can be purchased in Australia from Priceline, Big W, Coles, Target & Toys R' Us!

BRUSHOLOGY

~  SCUNCI  ~

Brushology Hair Brushes!

PREPARE

Dry Shampoo Brush $14.95
I only tend to wash my every 2-3 days for two reasons. One - I can get away with it, so why not?
Two - Washing my long, thick hair takes so much time, I just don't have. So in saying that, this
nifty little Dry Shampoo Brush is brilliant as it really helps to blend in all that dry shampoo I tend
to use on a daily basis. All but one of my dry shampoo's that I currently have in rotation come out as
white and powdery which if not worked in well can give my hair a grey tint. Not what you want!

Vent Brush $9.95
I tend to blow dry my hair about once a week or so after washing and this new Vent Brush has been
the perfect companion! Because there are gaps between the bristles it allows the hot hair through the
brush as I am blow drying in turn speeding up my drying time. The end of the bristles are also
ceramic and also get hot and aiding in the lengthy straightening process. I found this so easy to use,
my hair just glided through the brush and my was smooth and ready to tackle with my straightener in
no time!

Wet Hair Detangling Brush $12.95
This giant paddle brush has been cleverly designed with super gentle bristles to limit the damage
when bushing wet hair. I like to first use the Scunci Detangling Comb and follow through using this
one. The large size of the brush makes it very quick to use and I am done in about ten seconds! It
doesn't snag or pull at my hair and I love the way it feels on my scalp.

Detangling Comb $5.95
I believe a wide tooth comb is a must for every girl! I use this both in and out of the shower.
I find using this when using a hair treatment or even just when I condition my hair it helps
distribute the product nice and even whilst making my hair smooth and knot free. I then use it again
once I am out of the shower on my wet hair to make sure my hair is completely tangle free and ready
to style for bed or for the day ahead!

STYLE

Straightening Brush $15.95
This is probably the most unique kind of hair brush I have ever seen or used. You can use it like a
regular hair brush or as it is designed with a double brush head & ceramic coated plates you can use
it whilst both blow drying and straightening to cut down the time it takes for both tasks, especially
if you have long hair or unruly curls! If like me you suffer from the frizz effect, this brush will sort it
all out with it's ionic infused boar bristles.

XLarge Volume Brush $14.95
If volume and large waves are what you're craving then this is the brush of all brushes!
With it's ionic pins and gentle bristles, this brush when used together with your hair dryer
(I recommend checking out my fav - The Pink Evoke VS Sassoon Dryer!) will briskly style your hair
into voluminous Victoria's Secret waves with body and height as it retain the heat in the brush as you
style. Pretty handy!

Medium Volume Brush $12.95
Very similar to the XLarge Volume Brush, this medium size thermal ceramic barrel heats up as you
use your hair dryer giving you nice volume and life to your hair whilst setting it as you go through
each section of hair. This is my go-to for everyday hair as it gives a lovely natural 'just got out of bed
sexy hair' look whist still looking like you have still made some kind of effort by taming any frizz or
fly aways which are my pet hate!

Cushion Brush $12.95
This is the best brush to use the day after washing your hair when your hair is super clean and may
not be playing nice and sitting right. I find this helps styling my hair on those days as it is designed
to bring down some of the natural oils through the hair from the scalp in turn making squeeky clean
hair more manageable. Not recommended on greasy hair unless you want to accentuate that kind of
over all slick back look. Each to their own!

FINISH

Paddle Brush $14.95
For those of you who have long, thick hair like me then this one is for you! Nobody has time to
spend brushing their hair all day (At least no one I know!) and if you want to keep it long then you
still need to find a way to take care of it. This large paddle brush makes life easier by not only being
large enough to get the job done quick. It also has ionic and ceramic coated pins which help tame the
frizz, smooth down the hair and also adds shine which is something I have really noticed a difference
with when using this brush. I like shiny, healthy looking hair!

Long Hair & Hair Extension Brush $14.95
Since using my Irresistible Me hair extensions and finding this brush, I have really enjoyed having a
special brush just to help take better care of my set. Hair extensions are difficult to store without
getting tangled easily and having this brush has been great! Right before I apply each piece I just run
this brush of them and it makes all the difference! Makes them look like new again.

Thick & Wavy Hair Brush $14.95
I guess it really comes down to hair type, style preference and personal taste when it comes to some
of these brushes. There are a few others in this range which do pretty much the same as this one,
however this particular brush has slightly longer bristles which does make it nice and easy when
brushing through thick hair. (Speaking from experience!) :)

Backcombing Brush $7.95
Ever since trying out the Scunci Quiff Comb I have not been the best at back combing to create the
same effect. Having a proper backcombing brush just makes it so much easier and faster to create the
teased effect and I actually found it really easy to brush out once I was done. Backcombing with this
brush didn't create a huge knotted mess as I was able to simply comb through it once I was done with
the style. The hair held really well and parting my hair in difference ways with the tip of the brush
end make for some lovely neat hair styles lately as well.

RETOUCH

Mini Round Brush $7.95
I love these mini Retouch brushes as they are smaller than the others in the Brushology range and are
perfect handbag and travel size. I tend to pack both this and the Mini Styling Brush with me when I
travel as they are just a great little pair. Keeps my hair in place and looking neat.

Mini Styling Brush $7.95
This is great for on the go touch ups. I love that it is ceramic so even when I am out I can keep my
hair in check. Even after blow drying, straightening, dry shampooing & hair spraying, my hair still
finds a way to misbehave throughout the day, so having one of these styling brushes with me at all
times is a must!

ACTIVE

~  SCUNCI  ~

ACTIVE RANGE!

http://www.scunci.com.au

As we are beginning to finally head into the last end of Winter am I the only one thinking about
Spring & Summer? The sun, so warm on my skin, how I have missed you! Warmer weather to me
means getting outside a whole lot more and getting active again. Awakening from my Winter
hibernation in a way.

So to get us all in the mood here are some of my favourites from Scunci's active hair accessory
collection which I think are super fun, bright and totally on point when it comes to how to keep your
hair in check whilst working out. Weather it be at the gym, jogging, playing sports or if you're more
like me, just running around trying to get my everyday errands ticked off my list and keeping up with
the kids is my work out!

Here are my top 5 recommendations (they have a stack more so make sure you check out Scunci's
website if you don't see something your taste here, you might there!) with both me wearing each
piece and also some close ups to give you the best idea of the products. If you're still unsure you
can easily check these out next time you pop into Priceline, Big W or Target. :)
---
Active Visor $14.95
If you follow me then you'll already know all about this basic everyday staple because I actually
already dedicated a whole blog post on it which you can read up on here.
This is seriously sooo comfy, I was so surprised how much I instantly fell in love with it as soon as I
tried it on. Fits like a glove! Also available in Purple Space Dye Print.

Active Luxe Braid-Back Stretch Headwrap $9.95
I love this because it is a versatile piece. It's reversible! Below I am showing off the gorgeous hot pink shade which it is meant to be. However I have found it looking just as awesome reversed over to
the grey side and rocking it that way. Obsessed with this colour combo and it keeps all of my hair off
my face! Also available in Black & Pink and Blue & Pink.

Active Space Dry Headwraps $7.95
I don't know who else thinks like me, but I am always looking at different ways to wear accessories
to really get the most looks out of them. Below I am wearing two of the head wraps in Coral &
Purple. These are the most bright wonderful colours, I can't get enough! Brilliant to wear when
working out, I am all about fluros when it comes to gym gear, it's so much safer the more visible
you are, especially as a woman out running or walking alone.
Also available in Green and Black.

Active Luxe Basic Headwrap $9.95
Gotta love my basics and I LOVE colbolt blue! Ahh, just look at it! So beautiful! Also how cute are
the little 'U''s on all of these? This luxe basic is actually really soft to the touch and has in-built grip
on the inside of it so ensure it stay firmly in place and doesn't slide around even if you're sweating up
a storm! Also available in Black, Grey and Pink.

Active Printed Headwrap $8.95
It is so hard to choose, but this one probably tops the list in terms of my absolute favourite!
It just fits so well and I can't express how much I adore the floral hot pink print. It's nice to look and
feel a bit feminine when you're being all tough and stuff when you work out, right?! ;)
As much as I am now trying my hardest to keep hot pink just in my lipstick and my daughters room,
I just can't seem to completely shake the colour. I swear it follows me everywhere! (Not that I'm
complaining!) Also available in Blue Diamond Pattern & Lime Diamond Pattern.

JUNE/JULY FAVS

~  JUNE/JULY FAVOURITES  ~

Australian Bush Flower Essences Uplifting Body Lotion
There is nothing more I want to do on crisp chilling mornings then staying snuggled up in my nice
warm bed. So when I do have to get up this little bottle of zesty goodness helps me wake up and
refreshes my skin after a nice hot shower. (Review!)

Antipodes Ananda Antioxidant Rich Gentle Toner
This smells so beautiful, it is almost like a spa in a bottle as it is so relaxing and feels amazing on the
skin. I am currently doubling this up as an air freshener around my house, spritzing it in each room
as I go about my daily cleaning rounds. (Review!)

Rimmel London Wonderful Wake Me Up Mascara
My most recent favourite, but a firm one! This smells like cucumber!!!! I kid you not! Amazing
at opening up my eyes especially on tired mornings after not much sleep. It curls, separates and
lengthens my short lashes with ease. Stay tuned for a full dedicated review with pics coming soon!

Rimmel London Oh My Gloss in 'Glossaholic'
This has become my most recent handbag essential as I have been carrying it around with me
where ever I go. It is so pigmented with such a gorgeous bold pink, it is most like a glossy lipstick.
I love how smooth is glides onto my lips and doesn't feel sticky or messy. The lasting power is pretty
great too! (Review!)(Video Swatch!)

Scunci On The Go Hair Kit
Also a recent must have edition to my handbag. This kit contains all of your everyday day hair
essentials including, basic black headbands, bobby pins, claw clip, hair ties as well as plastic clear
elastics and the cutest little zip up pouch to store them all in which keeps everything conveniently
all together and easy to find in a hair emergency!

Hair & Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment
I have seen this hair treatment around quite a bit this past month and it seems to be a big hit with
everyone, including me! I have long, thick and lightened hair so it needs a lot of TLC.
This treatment has been amazing on my hair and I found I only needed to use a small amount
to get the job done, so this is going to last me a good while I think. Really enjoying it!
Stay tuned for a full dedicated review on this very soon!

MAY FAVS

MAY FAVOURTIES!

Human & Kind Wash Off Cleanser
I have been using this all month and I think my skin is rejoycing! I love the formula and unique way
of using it with the ultra soft and gentle wash off cloth supplied. A truely beautiful product I
recommend giving a go if you're on the market for a new cleanser especially if you have sensitive
skin! (REVIEW!)

I think I have mentioned this in my favourites quite a number of times! I am that passionate about it!
My hair needs extra strength and especailly even more now since I have been having it lightened.
The Tresemme Platinum Strength range in general and this product in particular just makes my hair
feel like virgin hair all over again in an instant by giving it it's strength back as well as adding shine
and softness. (REVIEW!)

Huge, huuuuge fan of this BB Cream! I have tried about a billion BB Creams and this one is
definitely up there. Suprisingly the coverage is actually brilliant! It is even better than some of my
foundations can you believe. I put it down to the 9 in 1 formula as it does everything. I especially am
a fan of it's ability to conceal my pores and acts as the perfect foundation base or primer. (REVIEW!) (BUY!)

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara
Ahh, just look at this mascara's packaging?! I recently received this gorgeous looking product in my
Priceline gift with purchase makeup goodie bag and omg, it is soooo nice! It makes my eyes pop and
doesn't clump up my lashes or make them look all spidery and un-natural. It has lovely short bristles
which make it perfect for those tricky bottom lashes as well. (BUY!)

Essie Polish in 'Pink About It' & 'A Cut Above'
I have been obsessed with Essie polish lately and these two have fast become my go-to favs!
Baby pink in general is my go-to shade for polish anyway and 'Pink About It' combine with
'A Cut Above' just adds a special kind of glam and girlyness to my nails which I just love!

I have previously tried another Puretopia facial moisturiser which was equally great don't get me
wrong. However, this Sensitive Care version is perfect for this time of the year when my skin is
prone to being a little moody and sensitive from the cold weather and change in seasons. My
skin feels extra taken care of and feels a lot calmer when I use this! (BUY!)

Another go-to product is this Maybelline quad. The shades here act as the perfect everyday eye
collection and are appropriate to wear both day and night. These shades can be build up and
give you a killer smokey effect when smudged together. I especially love using the bottom liner
shade as a smudgy eye liner. You could stop traffic I am telling you! ;) (MAKEUP TUTORIAL!)

Australian Bush Flower Essences Love System Intensive Eye Serum
I have noticed especially over the past 3-5 years my eye area definitely needing a bit of love!
This skin treatment for your eyes is going to last forever! The bottle size compared to the tiny
amound needed for the eye area is amazing and is feels, smells and give real results. I have been
using this for a few months now and I can already see the lines around my eyes have tightened
and faded slightly!! Made from actual rose stem cells as one of it's ingredients, I just love that
clever concept! (REVIEW!)

This is another product I picked up when I received the Priceline goodie bag. (Actually my
husband picked it out as it was my Mother's Day present!) It is actually an eyeshadow trio,
however I have been using it on my cheeks as a highlighter/blush/illuminiator. It is incredibly
pretty, I just adore the soft pinks! (BUY!)

Scunci Hair Accessories Braided Black Hair Ties
My hair is thick and can be totally unruley. Especially in the mornings when it appears to
have had a life of it's own (Partying hard I suspect by the looks of it!) whilst I have slept.
So to have these Scunci thick and strong hair ties on hand to sort it out so I can sort myself
out during my busy mornings as a mum is a must! I can just rely on these to get my hair
out of the way when I am in a hurry and I can be as rough as I like and there is no way
ever these are going to break on me. They are brilliant!

Well, I know this post is super late!
I aim to have my June favs up later today so then I will be completely caught up again!
