VIVID MATTE

MAYBELLINE!

VIVID MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICKS

SWATCHES & REVIEW!

My lipstick collection is by far the largest of all my makeup products. From satin and gloss,
sheer and matte in both solid and liquid formation. I love them all dearly. Lippie addiction is
very real and I am not ashamed to admit I have kind of a problem. I love to have all of the shades
available in each collection I own. The latest being these gorgeous matte beauties from Maybelline.

From their perfectly solid, stackable rectangular shapes, creamy smooth formula and strikingly
bold and confident shades, these have even gotten me questioning my previous hesitation towards
nude shades which I previously thought washed me out. Somehow Maybelline have got the balance
just right for my skin tone and the nudes from this collection actually work for me! I can hardly
believe myself!

Shades include - (Top to Bottom)
Posessed Plum / Berry Boost / Fuchsia Ecstasy / Rebel Red / Orange Shot / Electric Pink / Nude
Flush / Nude Thrill

In terms of longevity these are pretty tough and last a few hours before waring away. The matte
looks non drying and bold in pigment.

See how the swatches look in real life!

These and all other Maybelline products can be found in your local Priceline, K-Mart, Coles, Big W,
Myer, Woolies, Terry White, Price Attack, Chemist Warehouse & National Pharmacy as well as online.

Some of my other most recent Maybelline product loves included below!

OCTOBER EMPTIES

~  October Empties! ~

Wet Ones Be Fresh Original Antibacterial Hand & Body Wipes (Shop!)
These are awesome to have especially if you have grubby kids who somehow always seem to attract
a bucket load of germs. I have picked these up a few times during Beautyheaven's Beautorium and
with the much eagerly awaited event set to kick off again on the 23rd Nov, I cannot wait to pick up
a few new things to try!

Batiste Wild Dry Shampoo (Shop!)
Another great product thanks to Beautyheaven. This was one of the many products included in my
Blogstar award winning prize box back in 2013. Finally finished it and highly recommend it. Also
gave it a little mention in one of my previous favourites

Vaseline Dry Skin Moisturiser
As you can probably tell by the packaging this is one oldie I am glad to finally finish. It was a good
product, but geez it took forever to use and the pump died some time ago which made the last few
weeks of it's life annoying me with having to dig around to find it a temporary lid. :/

Organic Care Soft Vanilla Shea Replenishing Hand Wash (Review!)
Another product picked up in the last Beautorium. A very family friendly handy product to have
around. The smell is my favourite feature of this product. I am a complete sucker for Vanilla and this
is just so yummy and it makes your hands feels so smooth and moisturised!

Hello Kitty Bubblegum Perfume Body Mist (Shop!)
Who doesn't love Hello Kitty? This body mist is just too cute and smells very girlie and sweet.
This is nice to day time touch ups or for lazy days around the house when I'm not too concerned
about the scent wearing away after a few hours.

Avon Clear Skin Blemish Clearing Foaming Cleanser
How many bottles am I up to with this product now? 5 or 6? I have mentioned this one before and
yep you guessed it, I am currently onto my next one and you will probably see it again next month.
This is so cheap only a few bucks and kills acne if you use it morning and night. Has worked amazing
for my skin!

Rimmel London Sexy Cuves Full Figure Mascara
Had this for a bit too long. Was a bit dry when I first got it so after adding a few drops of warm water
to it to bring some life back into it, it's now time to say see ya later. Was an alright mascara. I love the
shiny red packaging. :)

Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Mascara (Shop!)
Another mascara I have decided needs to meet the bin. Honestly, I am pretty happy with most
mascaras I have ever tried and most are fairly similar and this one just sits amongst the average.

Colgate Advanced Whitening Toothpaste
Nothing special here either. We usually just purchase whatever is on special and I'm pretty sure this
one was. Sometimes I splash out on something more fancy and expensive, as does the hubby who
has terribly sensitive teeth. But this was just one to get the job done. Normal taste, minty & fresh.

Olay Regenerist Revitalising Hydration Cream Moisturiser (Shop!)
I have made my way through a few of these sample moisturisers and randomly found this one I
didn't realise I still had. Used it up in about 3 days. I am crazy obsessed with moisturising so this
was an easy one to use up. Was nice, not crazy smell. Just a white cream that soaked in pretty well.
I liked it. :) (Review!)

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Medium2 (Shop!)
After hearing soooo much hype around this product I was super excited to try this sample!
Nars is a luxury item to me and I only own one of their products, however after trying this, I really
want to own 2! Even though the consistency was really runny, this tiny sample lasted me about 4 or 5
applications!! It went such a long way and felt velvety smooth on my skin, was the perfect shade and
gave great coverage and made me look like a doll the the day! Love this!!! Want.Like.Now!
(Please Santa?)

MAY FAVS

MAY FAVOURTIES!

Human & Kind Wash Off Cleanser
I have been using this all month and I think my skin is rejoycing! I love the formula and unique way
of using it with the ultra soft and gentle wash off cloth supplied. A truely beautiful product I
recommend giving a go if you're on the market for a new cleanser especially if you have sensitive
skin! (REVIEW!)

I think I have mentioned this in my favourites quite a number of times! I am that passionate about it!
My hair needs extra strength and especailly even more now since I have been having it lightened.
The Tresemme Platinum Strength range in general and this product in particular just makes my hair
feel like virgin hair all over again in an instant by giving it it's strength back as well as adding shine
and softness. (REVIEW!)

Huge, huuuuge fan of this BB Cream! I have tried about a billion BB Creams and this one is
definitely up there. Suprisingly the coverage is actually brilliant! It is even better than some of my
foundations can you believe. I put it down to the 9 in 1 formula as it does everything. I especially am
a fan of it's ability to conceal my pores and acts as the perfect foundation base or primer. (REVIEW!) (BUY!)

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara
Ahh, just look at this mascara's packaging?! I recently received this gorgeous looking product in my
Priceline gift with purchase makeup goodie bag and omg, it is soooo nice! It makes my eyes pop and
doesn't clump up my lashes or make them look all spidery and un-natural. It has lovely short bristles
which make it perfect for those tricky bottom lashes as well. (BUY!)

Essie Polish in 'Pink About It' & 'A Cut Above'
I have been obsessed with Essie polish lately and these two have fast become my go-to favs!
Baby pink in general is my go-to shade for polish anyway and 'Pink About It' combine with
'A Cut Above' just adds a special kind of glam and girlyness to my nails which I just love!

I have previously tried another Puretopia facial moisturiser which was equally great don't get me
wrong. However, this Sensitive Care version is perfect for this time of the year when my skin is
prone to being a little moody and sensitive from the cold weather and change in seasons. My
skin feels extra taken care of and feels a lot calmer when I use this! (BUY!)

Another go-to product is this Maybelline quad. The shades here act as the perfect everyday eye
collection and are appropriate to wear both day and night. These shades can be build up and
give you a killer smokey effect when smudged together. I especially love using the bottom liner
shade as a smudgy eye liner. You could stop traffic I am telling you! ;) (MAKEUP TUTORIAL!)

Australian Bush Flower Essences Love System Intensive Eye Serum
I have noticed especially over the past 3-5 years my eye area definitely needing a bit of love!
This skin treatment for your eyes is going to last forever! The bottle size compared to the tiny
amound needed for the eye area is amazing and is feels, smells and give real results. I have been
using this for a few months now and I can already see the lines around my eyes have tightened
and faded slightly!! Made from actual rose stem cells as one of it's ingredients, I just love that
clever concept! (REVIEW!)

This is another product I picked up when I received the Priceline goodie bag. (Actually my
husband picked it out as it was my Mother's Day present!) It is actually an eyeshadow trio,
however I have been using it on my cheeks as a highlighter/blush/illuminiator. It is incredibly
pretty, I just adore the soft pinks! (BUY!)

Scunci Hair Accessories Braided Black Hair Ties
My hair is thick and can be totally unruley. Especially in the mornings when it appears to
have had a life of it's own (Partying hard I suspect by the looks of it!) whilst I have slept.
So to have these Scunci thick and strong hair ties on hand to sort it out so I can sort myself
out during my busy mornings as a mum is a must! I can just rely on these to get my hair
out of the way when I am in a hurry and I can be as rough as I like and there is no way
ever these are going to break on me. They are brilliant!

Well, I know this post is super late!
I aim to have my June favs up later today so then I will be completely caught up again!
:)

MARCH FAVS

~  MARCH FAVOURITES!  ~

So many new goodies landed on my desk this month in addition to a bunch of newbies I purchased!
It was one super busy month both personally and professionally and I fear (in a good way) that it is
only going to get even busier! I am looking forward to the rest of 2015 and cannot wait to look back
on it all once this year comes to an end. I am sure it will continue to no doubt fly by!

I hope you'll continue to read as I share with you some products I am loving and recommend if you
feel like a bit of retail therapy or online indulgence! :)

Argan+ Super Creamy Body Wash
Not only does this smell subtle, yet creamy and yummy, it feels like a velvet, bubbly dream on your
skin. I have been absolutely loving this and the gold and turquoise tube, omg, LOVE!

Coast To Coast Ultra Gentle Facial Polish
I can't enough of scrubs and exfoliators. I just enjoy using them so much as they always leave me
skin feeling smooth and renewed by removing all of the build up of dead skin. This one is my
current love. Check out my full demo and review in the video here!

Guess Dare Perfume
Guess is such a classic, timeless brand and their perfumes always delight the senses. The new release
smells beautifully floral but isn't overpowering at all. I love the baby pink shade and the feminine
and girlie scent lasts the whole day. (Buy!)

Australian Bush Flower Essences Face Wash Serum
Facial Wash Serum's are new to me, but I have been loving this! It smells so natural (because
it is) and completely relaxes me and takes me right back to nature.

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flushed Blush in 'Candy Glow'
Beyond cute, this blush is 100% completely me! I am loving gold accents at the moment, weather
it's in make-up packaging or decor, it is my new thing. This 3 toned beauty is to die for!
Check it out in my recent haul video here!

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Bronzer Quad
Why on earth I have never purchased anything from Physicians Formula before is beyond me!
Their products are BEAUTIFUL! Omg, their packaging (I am all about cuteness!) is gorgeous!
I recently picked this baby up for less than half price and I am so glad I did! The shades give you
the most perfect sun kissed, stunning glow! Highly, highly recommend this! Just about everything
else from them is currently on my wish list! (Buy!)

TanOrganic Bronzing Powder Duo
Completely matte chocolate brown on one half and a medium shimmery shade on the other.
Everything you need to get through the Winter this will keep you looking sun kissed and glowing.
If you like the sound of this and would like the chance to win one then make sure to enter my
GIVEAWAY by watching my video demo and review here! (Good Luck!)

OPI Nail Lacquer in 'Suzi Shops & Island Hops'
The perfect baby pink! I love this kind of shade for everyday wear. It's girlie and feminine and looks
amazing on, especially with lightly (fake) tanned skin. It really makes the colour pop and look bold.
Just gorgeous, I am totally chugging through this bottle! (Buy!)

Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in 'Fuchsia Desire'
This new range from Maybelline seems to be everybody's favourite lately! I caved and purchased
a classic hot pink which is a shade I wear a lot. I don't usually show much interest in lip pencils,
however this on is much bolder in colour than I expected and the formula glides on like a dream!
Pleasantly surprised with this product! (Buy!)

All over red rover!

GRWM

GET READY WITH ME!

Pop Of Colour!

I can't help but keep the love theme going with this Pop Of Colour make-up look as pink lips
are just my thing. Always my go to shade no matter what day, season or occasion it is! I am
just drawn to it. So recently when I received this shade in my BellaBox from Laqa & Co I was
thrilled and couldn't wait to play! I lined my lips first with one of my favourite lip liners from
ChiChi called Bimbo. A gorgeous hot pink which helped the Laqa & Co Menatour shade stay
firmly in place and really pop!

Because I felt like playing with a bit of colour, I pulled out my coloured ChiChi eye liners
which I hadn't used in quite a while. I applied both Disco Graffiti and Disco Royalty to my
top lash line over the top of my Maybelline Master Precise black liquid liner which actually looked
alright, however it doesn't seem to show up very well in photos. I don't normally apply liner to my
bottom lashes for day to day wear, however I applied both ChiChi colours and I am really happy
with the result. :) The shadows look quite natural and show up a little more understated in photos,
however the Maybelline ExpertWear eyeshadows I am wearing are actually my favourite right
now and I have been wearing this particular quad the most. If you're interested, you can watch
my make-up tutorial using four of the quads from the range here. :)

Of course (and I always say this) my make-up is nothing without a decent base.
To get this even, smooth finish I was a bit lazy and skipped on primer for no reason in particular.
I jumped right in a applied my Maybelline Better Skin Foundation with my Beauty Blender and
then went in under my eyes with the matching Maybelline Better Skin Concealer to conceal my
tired, sleep deprived eyes. Oh! And how can I forget my brows. I recently ran out of my Avon
brow pencil and have been switching between my Maybelline Brow Mascara and the one I've
used here which is actually an eye pencil by L'Oreal but both the formul and shade work
perfectly on my brows. It keeps them in place and looking groomed but still natural.

To complete my overall look, I have framed my face with my hair using my current obsession.
The VS Sasoon Evoke straightener which is this gorgeous pink which matches my lips to a tee!
The L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil does my hair so much good by calming down my fly aways,
frizz and makes my hair feel silky smooth and soft. Bottle of pure gold this stuff!

VDAY NAILS

~ VALENTINE'S DAY ~
(Last Minute!)
Nail Art Inspo!

Just one more sleep away before we all wake up to celebrate the day of love!

If you're stuck into your pampering tonight and need some nail inspo, then here is
my little input for you. However, if you're after some seriously creative attention grabbing
pointers, then I highly recommend checking out Pinterest, trush me the inspo there is
definitely not lacking! Just make sure you don't get too distracted gawking and forget to
actually paint your own! (Speaking from experience here!)
Featuring -

I painted each of my nails in the classic romantic red from Maybelline in
'Keep Up The Flame' and applied a few coats of 'Glitter It' over the top on my
signature nail for added glamour and romance.

The finish off this V'Day nail art, I applied 5 of the silver embellishments onto my
signature nail over the top of 'Glitter It' whilst it was still wet so as the polish dried it
made the little stones stick! I then used the end of an old liquid liner wand/brush (washed
of any black liner remains of course!) to dip into 'Glitter It' for just a tiny drop to make these
cute little red hearts stick to each of my remaining nails. :)

I love having my nails painted. They don't have to be fancy or professionally done.
Just having some colour on them makes me happy and lifts my mood.

What are you up to tonight? Are you doing any V'Day beauty prep?

VALENTINES MAKEUP

~ VALENTINE'S DAY MAKE-UP!

With the day of love just two short days away I figured my Valentine's Day themed
week wouldn't be complete without at least one make-up inspo post!

So here goes!

Products used to create my face...

BASE
Nothing looks quite as good without a perfect base.
This is probably the most important part of my whole look.
If your skin looks great, then everything else is just icing on the cake!

EYES
Bloom Liquid Liner in Black
The eyes are the window to your soul. So make them bright, awake and sparkling!
I love lots of lashes, a wing for a bit of drama and sass and natural tones to enhance
and bring out my dark eyes.

LIPS
Love me a barbie pink pout! My fav lip look! :)

NAILS
Can't go wrong with a good old classic red!
I'm loving this one, just look how shiny it is without a top coat!

So there you have it! A simple, little bit glam make-up look for Valentine's Day!
Weather you're going to be spending it with your other half, friends, kids or even your pet!
I hope everyone has the chance to show the ones we love how much they mean to us. xx
Do you like to glam it up for V'Day?
