Puretopia Moisture Repair Nourishing & Strengthening Shampoo

This was a refreshing change to my regular hair care products. Highly recommend this one.

VO5 Anti Frizz Leave-in Conditioner 

This was alright. Tamed my frizzy hair a little bit. Don't think you can still get this anymore?

Had this product sitting around for ages!

VO5 Silky Smooth Silk Serum

Same with this product. Had it for forever and FINALLY used it all up. Note to self - Serums take

a long time to use, so don't go buying so many you dork!!!

~ BODY ~

Colgate Max White One Mouth Wash

Super, amazing, great, loved it! I have been using heaps of teeth whitening products this past

year and finally, I think my teeth are a little bit whiter. I have products like this one to thanks for that!

Palmolive Foaming Nourishing Hand Wash in Raspberry

Will never stop buying this! Smells gorgeous and foams up straight out of the pump which the kids

love!

Vagisil pH Plus Intimate Wash

Thank you to the lovely Livia from her blog for this as I won it from her giveaway a little while ago.

I just used this as an all over body wash. It also makes great bubbles in the bath! :)

~ SAMPLES ~

PureTan Pure Bronze Dark Tanning

This was way too dark for my skin, however I still really enjoyed using it and the formula was good.

I have been tanning heaps lately so it was nice to try something new. Thanks to BH for including this

in my Beautorium order!

Carol's Beauty Sun Tanning Enhancer Lotion

This is quite an oily formula, however really nice to use. I have been using this along with this 

Carol's Beauty Tan Enhancing Oil in my everyday tanning routine to help prolong my fake tan.
It is also super moisturising!

Carol's Beauty Sun Tanning Enhancer Oil

Again, really enjoyed using this over my fake baked skin. There are just the small bottles, there are

also full size ones available which I have reviewed here. :) 

Vagisil Fresh Plus Intimate Wash
Another sample of the Vagisil, I cannot recall exactly where it came from, however I am thinking it
may have been from a recent Elle or Cosmo mag? hmm..

Schick Hydro Silk Razor Re-Fill
This is an old favourite which I have been using for years. Does a great job, however isn't my
absolute fav. That crown goes to the Schick Intuition, hands down! 

Arbonne Skincare Samples

Dug these out of my Doll Connection blog event goodie bag recently and decided to see how they'd
go. Pretty nice products actually, although a bit on the pricer side.

Today I share with you my very last empties post for the year 2015!
Late as usual, so my January empties will most likely be up after this one. Video has already been
filmed & is up on my channel if you want to take a sneak peak before I post it here. :)
The past year was hands down the most productive and successful in terms of using up old products
and clearing out some much needed space in my bathroom!

Feeling good about that as I have begun the new year with a bang, continuing to focus on my
 de-cluttering and chipping away at it bit by bit not only in my bathroom but my whole house as
well. :)


FACE!

Real-U Cleanse Gentle Foaming Facial Wash
This brand seems to have been getting quite a bit of buzz over social media and with bloggers this
past year and with pretty good reason. My skin has always been acne prone. I am (finally) old enough
now to have my skincare routine down to a fine art and rarely ever break out anymore. However I
do still occasionally get the odd pimple yet when I used this daily over a period of a few months I
didn't get a single one!

Avon Clear Skin Blemish Clearing Foaming Cleanser
Another fantastic facial cleanser. As mentioned in many of my previous empties. This stuff is also
amazing for clearing acne fast!

HAIR!

Wella Pro Series Strong Hold Hairspray
I liked having a nice large bottle handy all the time. It lasted me ages and did a great job for
everyday hair styles.

Pantene Pro-V Colour Therapy Leave In Hair Moisturiser
This was a kinda old product which I was very happy to finally finish up before the end of the
year. Slowing getting through my hair moisturisers. I have no idea how I accumulated so many?

L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray
One of the best hair sprays I have ever tried. Holds my hair and curls/waves in place all day.
Doesn't have that overwhelming scent to it either which is super duper!

Garnier Ambre Solaire Self-Tanning Multi Position Spray
With it being Summer and with me being naturally very white, I have dug through my bathroom
cabinets and found a few tanning sprays and lotions etc. This one was probably one of the oldest in
my stash, so like always I used this one up first. It was pretty good, I liked that I could point it in any
direction or angle and it still sprayed the product out really easily which made it great to get in harder
to reach places like the backs of my legs. :)

Lanolips Lovely Lanolin Herbal Treatment Body Oil
Used this up by massaging it into my stretched out post baby belly. Liked this one and kept my skin
nice and hydrated and looking a bit less red.

Trefiel Lace Design Facial Mask
I posted an Instagram picture of myself wearing this a little while ago. It is a such a pretty mask.
Really hydrating and generously soaked in a clear serum. Super luxurious product.

Human & Kind Wash Off Cleanser

I have been using this all month and I think my skin is rejoycing! I love the formula and unique way

of using it with the ultra soft and gentle wash off cloth supplied. A truely beautiful product I

recommend giving a go if you're on the market for a new cleanser especially if you have sensitive

skin! (REVIEW!)

TRESemme Platinum Strength Leave In Treatment

I think I have mentioned this in my favourites quite a number of times! I am that passionate about it!

My hair needs extra strength and especailly even more now since I have been having it lightened.

The Tresemme Platinum Strength range in general and this product in particular just makes my hair

feel like virgin hair all over again in an instant by giving it it's strength back as well as adding shine

and softness. (REVIEW!)

Rimmel London 9 in 1 BB Cream

Huge, huuuuge fan of this BB Cream! I have tried about a billion BB Creams and this one is

definitely up there. Suprisingly the coverage is actually brilliant! It is even better than some of my

foundations can you believe. I put it down to the 9 in 1 formula as it does everything. I especially am

a fan of it's ability to conceal my pores and acts as the perfect foundation base or primer. (REVIEW!) (BUY!)

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara

Ahh, just look at this mascara's packaging?! I recently received this gorgeous looking product in my

Priceline gift with purchase makeup goodie bag and omg, it is soooo nice! It makes my eyes pop and

doesn't clump up my lashes or make them look all spidery and un-natural. It has lovely short bristles

which make it perfect for those tricky bottom lashes as well. (BUY!)

Essie Polish in 'Pink About It' & 'A Cut Above'

I have been obsessed with Essie polish lately and these two have fast become my go-to favs!

Baby pink in general is my go-to shade for polish anyway and 'Pink About It' combine with

'A Cut Above' just adds a special kind of glam and girlyness to my nails which I just love!

Puretopia Sensitive Care Protective Moisturiser

I have previously tried another Puretopia facial moisturiser which was equally great don't get me

wrong. However, this Sensitive Care version is perfect for this time of the year when my skin is

prone to being a little moody and sensitive from the cold weather and change in seasons. My

skin feels extra taken care of and feels a lot calmer when I use this! (BUY!)

Maybelline New York Expertwear Eyeshadow Quad in 'Mocha Motion'

Another go-to product is this Maybelline quad. The shades here act as the perfect everyday eye

collection and are appropriate to wear both day and night. These shades can be build up and

give you a killer smokey effect when smudged together. I especially love using the bottom liner

shade as a smudgy eye liner. You could stop traffic I am telling you! ;) (MAKEUP TUTORIAL!)

Australian Bush Flower Essences Love System Intensive Eye Serum

I have noticed especially over the past 3-5 years my eye area definitely needing a bit of love!

This skin treatment for your eyes is going to last forever! The bottle size compared to the tiny

amound needed for the eye area is amazing and is feels, smells and give real results. I have been

using this for a few months now and I can already see the lines around my eyes have tightened

and faded slightly!! Made from actual rose stem cells as one of it's ingredients, I just love that

clever concept! (REVIEW!)

Natio Eyeshadow Trio in 'Illuminate'

This is another product I picked up when I received the Priceline goodie bag. (Actually my

husband picked it out as it was my Mother's Day present!) It is actually an eyeshadow trio,

however I have been using it on my cheeks as a highlighter/blush/illuminiator. It is incredibly

pretty, I just adore the soft pinks! (BUY!)

Scunci Hair Accessories Braided Black Hair Ties

My hair is thick and can be totally unruley. Especially in the mornings when it appears to

have had a life of it's own (Partying hard I suspect by the looks of it!) whilst I have slept. 

So to have these Scunci thick and strong hair ties on hand to sort it out so I can sort myself

out during my busy mornings as a mum is a must! I can just rely on these to get my hair

out of the way when I am in a hurry and I can be as rough as I like and there is no way

ever these are going to break on me. They are brilliant!

Well, I know this post is super late!

I aim to have my June favs up later today so then I will be completely caught up again!

Another year has no doubt smacked you in the face weather your woke up

not remembering the night before or sprung out of bed like a new spring chicken ready to put

those new years resolutions into play. 2015 is here and weather or not you partied hard all through

the night or were tucked up in bed before 9pm. Chances are you stayed up (or at least tried to!)

to watch the clock strike midnight and see some fireworks live or on the telly!

In saying that, your skin may be looking and feeling a little on the tired side, so why not start

I maintain the natural colour of my hair by running a permanent dye through it every few months
to help fight the ever so persistent greys that keep on popping up, creating way too many bad hair
days! So to be able to use this product which is designed to help with the damage that can be caused
from colouring and styling your hair is perfect for me! It contains wheat starch and proteins which
strengthen the hair whilst making it all nice and silky and shiny! Then the array of flower and
seed oils such as sunflower, lime and grapefruit give it it's incredible scent, moisture and colour
protection.

Use as you would any normal conditioner working it through the bottom half of your hair
and then thoroughly rinsing it out or you can leave it in for as long as 15 minutes to really
let the ingredients soak into your hair and drink them up, maximising the overall result this
range of products gives to your hair.

OCTOBER FAVS

Polished London Blighty Brunette Dry Shampoo

This has been a go-to product of mine this past month which I have been using

daily! I never have time to always wash my hair every second day as I would like,

so I have found myself reaching for this in between washes and it has really been

a life saver! Keeps my hair looking and smelling fresh!

Puretopia Facial Mist Toner

I have really been having a lot of fun using this Mist Toner as it's a relatively new

concept to me. It has been getting so hot lately here in sunny QLD, so I have been

reaching for this during the day for a refreshing spritz on my face and it feels sooo good!

The smell is also a bit zesty and perks me up to get through the 3:30-itis mode!

St.Topez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse

My skin is naturally quite light since I never tan out in the sun.

However I do like the look of tanned skin every now and again and I have found

this especially on my legs which aren't the most toned part of my body, makes them

appear slightly more muscular and a little less wobbly!

Maybelline Color Show Street Artist Top Coat in White Splatter

I haven't had a chance to do a NOTD post with this new little button just yet,

so stay tuned, that will be coming up in a future post!

This is such a fun polish. I love the detail of all the different sized and shaped

glitter inside and the mix of white, purple and turquoise make it so pretty!

Polished London Nail Polish in Guava

This is actually more coral than it appears in the photo. It looks like the most perfect

shade for Spring! It is so gorgeous and the formula just glides over my nails without

a fuss. It is so smooth and easy to get to look neat! Loving it so much!

Scunci Black/Brown Grip No Slip Headbands

I have been into a lot of blacks and browns when it comes to fashion lately with

a slash or hint of bright colour here and there and these headbands have been the

perfect accessory to complete every look! They keep my hair out of the way and 

securely in place without any fuss and I love how versatile they are. I like to wear

two at a time most days, they look so casual, yet keep you totally put together!

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner

On old fav I've recently rediscovered in my makeup stash!

It is just like using a thin pointed texta only it's makeup, so it's totally ok to use on your

face!! ;) I have complete control when using this as it isn't messy at all and I can

create any shape or thickness I want to and I love that there is no need to keep

re-dipping my brush cutting down the time it takes to create my look!

This product has been a constant favourite of mine for most of the year.
Ever since I first started using it it hasn't let me down.
I love using scrubs in general. Weather it's my face or my whole body, I love

creating skin irritations or acne.

DAILY FACE MOISTURISER SPF15
I have been using this product daily in my skincare routine over the
past couple of weeks and have really been enjoying it along with these other
products in the range. Being outside with my kids on a daily basis and playing
out in the sun means it is important to me that my skin is protected.
I love that this contains an SPF of 15 so I can relax knowing my face and neck
won't get damaged. The scent is very natural and smells very moisturising.
A bit like a nature walk. (Close your eyes and imagine that for a moment. Ah,
how relaxing!) The formula looks like sunscreen but the texture doesn't have
that thick, greasy feel, thankfully! It is super easy to work into the skin and
leaves your skin soft and ready for makeup application.

FACIAL MIST & TONER
I haven't used a whole lot of mist toners before. I use just your normal liquid
toners daily, but the mist ones are pretty new to me. I am so in love with this one
though, I have to say! It is so easy to use with the basic spray nozzle.
Since the weather has quickly been heating up here recently, this has been a
wonderful product to help cool and calm down my hot, flushed skin. The smell is
so uplifting and fresh with the citrus fruits - lime, orange and mandarin.
It does a great job at waking me up in the morning when I use it on a cotton ball to tone all over my
 face and neck. I've yet to use this to ease any sunburn but I'll be for sure
packing this into my beach bag this Summer just in case!

Hair Mask!

If you're been reading my blog for a while now, you'll know the constant war I have

going on with my hair. I've always had long hair down my to my backside and even though

it's so much more work to look after and maintain, I love having the length and can't bring myself

to want to cut it short. My hair is also naturally frizz prone, thick and generally just painful to control,

which leads me to just shoving it up into a messy bun most days if I'm just at home and don't have to

face the big bad world.

I am constantly on the hunt and discovering new and innovative hair product to
help me out and to make life easier. Then is dawned on me recently that I've
been completely ignorant to a good old fashioned hair mask! Like seriously,
what is wrong with me?! I have such an endless supply of shampoos, conditioners
and serums, yet not a single hair mask!? I know I used to use them all the time.
I think I just stopped buying them ages ago when I decided I needed to down size
my product collection.

Anyhow, then I got the opportunity to try this Australian, 100% Sulfate free
beauty and realized what I'd been missing from my life!
I am rotating through a few different brand of shampoos and conditioners
at the moment and don't get me wrong, I am really enjoying them, but you
know, my hair still isn't looking exactly perfect... well it is now beginning to shine
a little brighter now that I've given it some extra special TLC with this luxurious tub of goodness!

This generous 250ml sized round tub is full of natural and moisturising
 ingredients including; argan, macadamia oils, almond oils, sunflower seed oil, flower oils
+ more! As you can imagine it smells delightful. More of a creamy scent than anything.
Which leads me on to the texture and feeling it gives to your hair.
The formula itself feels & looks just like a lightly natural smelling scented body moisturiser - only
it's designed just for your hair! It is a decent thickness which makes it good to work with when
you're applying it all over your hair so you're not wasting a heap of product that drips out of your hands. The deep moisturising properties in this product help to protect your hair from heat
styling. (Yup, that's me! Guilty!) So that's perfect for me!
This amazing formula actually aids in improving the elasticity of your hair therefore making
it stronger, less prone to breakage which limits dodgy looking stray fly aways which are in my
case weak hairs which have snapped from either brushing, styling and poorly
designed hair elastics.

Clear Intense Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner

This also featured as a favourite of mine in my June Favourites last month,

and even though I've been juggling a few different shampoos and conditioners

this month, this one still remains a firm fav!

L'Oréal Paris Eyeshadow Palette in Northern Lights

I recently hauled this palette and haven't stopped using it ever since!

The shades are perfect to create a natural everyday look that is buildable

for also going out at night and the shades compliment my features really nicely.

Maybelline NY Superstay Better Skin Foundation in Light Beige

I've been trialing this for Beautyheaven recently and have been enjoying the results.

Goes on very smooth and looks and feels light whilst still providing a decent

Puretopia Bioactive Solutions Gentle Exfoliating Face Scrub

I've only been using this for a short time, but I already feel like this is a

worthy fav! It is definitely one of my more luxurious scrubs. Feels

very pampering and does a brilliant job at gently removing dead skin

build up leaving my skin so smooth and soft!

Maybelline NY Baby Lips in Mango Pie

Another MNY fav would have to be my baby lips, in particular this month

the Mango flavour has taken my fancy most of all. Once you get past the vibrant

and bright coloured packaging which I love, the formula itself is sheer and smells

amazing! I love to apply this throughout the day when I'm home or out and about

with the kids as I'm constantly hugging and kissing them! With this I don't have to

worry about any sticky or coloured lip product transferring onto them.

Organic Care Ginger & Lemongrass Antibacterial Hand Wash

I recently trialed this for Beautyheaven and it has made me realize how much

I enjoy using liquid hand washes as opposed to block soaps.

I especially like the antibacterial aspect of this product as I'm currently

in the middle of toilet training my toddler and needless to say we have been

putting this to very good use!

Scunci Pin Twirls

These are such a versatile hair product and are perfect for holding hair in

place without the need for any elastics or bobby pins.

Luminesce Cellular Rejuvenation Serum

Only in the past maybe two years or so have I discovered the power of 

facial serums. I only wish I'd known how much of a difference they actually

make to your skin earlier. This one I've been particularly impressed with

lately. I've been using this for quite a few months and the results are evident

in my skins overall appearance.

Skin B5 Skin Purifying Mask

I'd never used a Skin B5 product before I tried this which I received

late last year in my Blogstar prize pack. 

As my skin is naturally acne prone, unless I keep it in check with products such as

this, it goes ballistic! If I just want a quick pimple fix, I'll just dab a little bit of

this on the spot and leave it on as long as i can throughout the day or night

and it clears the area right up. It's brilliant!
