HARVEST GARDEN

~  HARVEST GARDEN  ~

Epsom Bath Salts

Patchouli, Lemongrass, Calendaula & Zeolite Clay

Whenever I get the chance, there is nothing (much) more I love to indulge in than a nice hot relaxing
quiet bath. Alone time, it is an extremely rare treat and one that I savour!

Lately, each time I have had the chance (even in the middle of the day - Do I think bath time is just
for before bed? No! For me it's whenever I can get it! Before lunch? I'm cool with that! Light a
candle and let's get started...!

Let me introduce you to a new to me Aussie owned brand and 100% natural Australian made product
which has been my best friend during my last handful of baths and I love it so much I just had to
share it with you all, because ahh, it is just sooo nice!

Harvest Garden Epsom Bath Salts - $20.00 (1kg)

Not only does this product look super homey and stylish in my bathroom in it's super clever
re-useable glass jar, the contents it contains is just gorgeous! To start with the scent sends me straight
off into a completely relaxed state and as I use the handy wooden scoop to sprinkle this blend of Sea
Salt, Epsom Salts, Dried Calendula Flowers, Zeolite Clay, Lemongrass & Patchouli Essential Oils
into my bath I am completely in my own little world and ready to dive in!

I have used plain Epsom Salts in my bath before after hearing of their detoxing, relaxing and
exfoliating benefits. However, what makes this blend even better is the added benefits of each unique
ingredient and how it helps our bodies with stress relief, healing of the skin, scars, stretch marks,
brusing, irritations, stings, poor circulation + more!

Harvest Garden provide a wide range of all natural products which can be purchased directly from
their website, or from a wide range of locations Australia wide. For a full location list to find one near
you click here. :)

NEW QV RANGE

~ EGO QV SKINCARE ~

&

NEW BABY RANGE!

Bath Oil
RRP: $11.20 (250ml)
I honestly haven't been all that impressed with bath oils in the past as I've found them to be pretty
boring and just make the bath super slippery! This however doesn't have the slip factor which I
can not stress how important that is as a mother! It is not uncommon for most people I know to
call me over protective of my kids and that I just need to chill out and let them go a bit. But I just
can't. My babies are everything to me and when they hurt, my heart is in my mouth and it is the
worst feeling!! (I am sure most mothers can relate!!)

I find when I add a cap full to the kids bath along with the QV Gentle Wash (see below) it creates
an ultra soothing, gentle, moisturising bath. Both my daughter & son's skin has become softer
since I've used this combination in their bath each night and they seem to be enjoying it. :)

Gentle Wash
RRP: $10.65 (250g)
When it comes to bath time, I generally bath both my 3 year old and 1 year old together.
It is just easier to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak! Plus they love splashing, playing
and washing each other. It's a lovely bonding time for them.
I have been loving using this in their bath because not only does it create some nice bubbles
which are always a big hit, but the two in one formula means it can be used both as a body and
a hair wash! Saves time and fiddling around with a bunch of different bottles when I need to be
focusing on making sure nobody slips over!

This has absolutely no fragrance and it is ultra moisturising and completely soap free!
My kids don't have any skin issues but I feel good knowing I am using a product that is gentle
on their skin and is designed especially with young little bodies in mind.

Barrier Cream
RRP: $7.95 (50g)
This paediatrician recommended Barrier Cream is great! With just one kid left in nappies,
(hallelujah!) I can focus using this holy and soley on just my 1 year old son. I change his
nappy regularly enough that it isn't often he develops a nappy rash, however there are some
times when irritation can occur in certain areas and this has worked amazingly well at soothing
and clearing up the effected area quickly.

I just apply this to his bottom and along the creases of skin as recommended on the tube after
each nappy change and it has kept him comfortable and his skin baby soft and smooth.

Moisturising Cream
RRP: $13.20 (250g)
This pH balanced, lanolin, fragrance and propylene glycol free moisturising cream is just lovely!
As part of our night time routine, all 3 of us moisturise our whole bodies after bathing/showering
before we get dressed for bed and whilst my skin prefers a nice, thick, rich night cream to keep
me looking youthful (well it's does it's best!) I have been keeping this QV Baby Moisturising
Cream especially just for them.

Whilst I love a variety of different scented body butters, creams and souffles, my little ones aren't
so keen. (Especially fussy little Miss 3!) So to be able to use a nice big tub of this which is
fragrance free is perfect as they don't question it and it doesn't irritate their sensitive little noses!

The fact that the QV brand itself was first developed in the Queen Victoria hospital back in 1975
beginning with their ever famous Bath Oil makes me feel at ease and I trust completely in this brand
and that it is the best range of products I could be using for my babies.

Hand Cream
RRP: $6.49 (50g)
Now onto this lovely, pampering, must have product for the hard working mums out there!
Most of us are aware that our hands are ones of the first parts of our bodies to show our age.
When you think about it, we use our hands probably more than another other part of our bodies.
Only over the past 5 or so years have I really begun to notice the stress my hands have been put
under over the years. I especially feel they get quite a beating from all of the cleaning I do/have done!
(Both at home and in various jobs I've had in the past.)

Applying a good hand cream is an essential part of my night time routine these days. I always keep
a tube or tub of it beside my bed to I can massage it into my hands, nails, cuticles and up to my
wrists each night right before I fall asleep. This QV Hand Cream has taken over prime position
lately and let me tell you, my hands feel so good come morning! They feel so soft and relaxed!
This stuff is so moisturising I'm even considering using it on my feet as they are a part of my
body which constantly need moisturising and always feel dry and the skin gets tough and hard the
moment I start neglecting it! >_<

Moisturising Day Cream
RRP: $14.99 (75g)
I have been after a new day cream for a while now as I've just been slapping on any old foundation
or BB cream I have needing to be used up. So whilst doing this I have been skipping the vital
step of moisturising my face and applying any kind of SPF! (Naughty! Naughty!!)

Since using this under whatever makeup worn (if any!) each day, has been really beneficial!
This contains a massive SPF of 30, which coming into QLD's stinking hot Summer is absolutely essential and I will be using this all throughout the new year for sure as I am demanded daily to play out in the yard with my 3 year old, playing in the sand pit and jumping on the trampoline whilst the weeds and stray bits of grass popping up in places they're not meant to looking on and mocking me! (Meanies!) >_<

I have normal type skin and this has been working well and completely agreeing with me
without any irritations or complaints. Highly recommend this one!

LUSH HAUL

~ L U S H   H A U L ~

So White & Snow Fairy Shower Gels
RRP: $16.95  (250g each)
So I'll begin with Snow Fairy which I have been wanting even since it came out last year!
(Bit slow to jump on the band wagon aren't I?!) It perfectly matches my fairy obsession so I knew
I just had to have it! And then I went into Lush and smelt it..... it isn't exactly my cup of tea.
I mean I am usually the first one there when something smells sickly sweet, I love that, but this
takes the cake to the extreme, meaning it is sickly sweet and then some!! It is a bit OTT, buuut
I still couldn't help myself because they have marketed it too well. It looks adorable and contains
shimmer in it, plus it's pink! I figure if I use it sparingly I shouldn't gag or vomit in the shower.

As for So White, ahh now this, THIS is what I'm talking about! Again shimmer, because it is
Christmas after all and who needs an excuse to look all festive and shiny anyway?! I love shimmer
and the smell of this is a lot kinder to the nose. Apple and rose scented, what a fab combo! Cannot
wait to try this!

Bubblegum Lip Scrub
RRP: $9.95  (25g)
I am sure just about everybody on the planet has tried this and it has been on my wish list for
forever! I used up a sample of this I was lucky enough to score what feels like a billion years ago,
so even since I ran that dry I have had major withdrawals and my lips have been really
 mad at me!

So glad to have a full size jar of this in my life now and if I ever feel the desperate need for a snack
whilst I'm out and about I always have this! (Just kidding...maybe!) ;)

Star Light Star Bright Bath Melt
RRP: $6.95 (40g)
This is seriously too pretty! The amatour photo I have taken doesn't even do it justice!
Only problem is it is a melt and it's so soft and the silver glitter/shimmer just wants to get off onto
everything it touches! Even as I picked this up as lightly and gently as I could with two fingers to
take this picture, my fingers ended up looking like the Tin Man's. >_<

Smells zesty and citrusy and I just love silver, so I cannot wait to use this and turn into a fairy
in my bath tub! Merry Christmas me! Yay! :D

Sunny Side Bubble Bar (100g)
RRP: $8.50 (100g)
Unfortunetly this gold glitter flecks on this bubble bar also glue to your fingers, but OMG,
just look at it! I almost want to eat it is so gorgeous! This is also apparently citrus scented, although
I seem to get a waff of what I think is lavender when I smell it and it doesn't smell anything like
the Star Light Star Bright Melt above.

I am torn between wasting this on one amazing, expansive bath or saving it for envious decor
in my bathroom (or elsewhere somewhere in the house - out of reach from my climbing toddlers!)

Decisions, such touch decisions! I think Santa will just have to bring me a few more back ups so
I don't have to choose! *hint* *hint* Santa, are you reading this? Take note please! ;)

Northern Lights Bath Bomb
RRP: $5.50 (150g)
I first head about this little beauty from watching another beauty guru on YT and thought it was
the most amazing thing in the world so I knew I had to have it! Plus is has stars in it!!!
If you Google this you will see some friggin' beautiful bath tubs with others who have used this!

The two sides at the ends are meant to fizz away first and then the centre slowly dissolves into
a blue and green swirl creating a rainbow of colourful and great smelling fizz to your bath time
experience!

Can't wait!

Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub
(Bonus Sample!)
This smells pretty good actually! I love scrubs and the consistency of this seems
pretty good, not too weak. Might get a few uses out of this and I love the blue, nice!

I Won Some Lush!

I have something to confess. I am addicted to entering competitions. I have slowed down quite a lot of late. Concentrating my spare time more on this blog and other more important things, like cleaning the house, etc... One of the quickest and easiest ways to find and keep up to date with brands, people and products is through one of my favourite social media sites. Instagram.

Recently I was lucky enough to win a Bunty Gift Pack by Lush from a competition held by Chanelkxo in collaboration with Lush_ausnz on Instagram. Today it finally arrived and I am so excited to try everything and share them with you as Lush is up there as one of my absolute favourite beauty brands! :)

Inside the box is as follows!

Think Pink Bath Ballistic
This appears scarcely like the pic in the catalogue.
It is suppose to be much more of a magenta pink
with 3 flowers, not 1....maybe they're just buried inside
there somewhere.

Space Girl Bath Ballistic

Mini Comforter Bubble Bar

Creamy Candy Bubble Bar
The Catalogue shows this to have some kind of flower in it but I guess
mine either missed out or its buried somewhere inside...?

They all smell incredible and strong!
I cannot wait to use them all!

:)

What are your favourite products from Lush?
Have you tried any of these from the Bunty Box?

Thank you for reading! xo
