GIFTS FOR HER BUDGET

CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE

Gifts For Her On A Budget!
Philosophy Snow Angel Body Wash
This pretty pearly divine scented treat will enthral your sense of smell as you shower. The formula is
absolutely stunning and lathers up into a soft pearl of bubbles. You simply cannot go wrong here.
Everyone needs and uses body wash, so why not help to replenish their stash with a special xmas
limited edition bottle?

Dessata Detangling Hair Brush
I have tried quite a few detangling hair brushes over the past few years and this one is my current
favourite I use all the time on both my own hair and my kids too! They come in a bunch of colourful
shades and designs so there is something these sure to suit whoever you are thinking of buying for.
(Review!)

Sally Hansen has about a billion different shades to choose from, however theses are just some of
my current favourites. The gel formula has come a long way as with these there is no need for an
expensive, time consuming LED light which in the long term is more damaging to the nail and harder
to remove. These do not chip easily and are pigmented in colour. (Review!)

This array of eight shades which has just recently been released is so pretty and in my opinion is a
slight mini version of the Naked Smoked eyeshadow palette. With all but one shade with shimmer
this is sure to get your into the festive spirit in no time! Great colours for a sultry night out. For the
bold and brave!

This multi makeup palette is perfect for both professionals and beginners alike. When it comes to
building up a makeup collection this is a great place to start! With a million different colours and
shade options from eyeshadows, blush, contour and lipsticks, this rainbow of choice is a complete
bargain!

Bellabox Subscription
For the person who has everything, is difficult to buy for and you know they are a beauty addict then
a subscription service is a pretty good choice and a fun surprise if they're not expecting it and it just
shows up in the mail the month after Christmas! I have received a few Bellabox's over the years and
would recommend them as they are only $17.95 per month. They also have Bellobox for
men or Bellababy for new mums! Pretty great idea and who doesn't love beauty mail? I know I do!

Remington Rose Gold Hair Pack!
Rose gold everything is what's hot right now. This seems to be lusted after no matter the age group.
From teens, young adults and mature ladies, this gorgeous royal pack is sure to impress and give
stunning long lasting results which is the most important at the end of the day.
Also available is the straightener gift set.  (Review!)

PRICELINE MAKEUP BAG

~  PRICELINE MAKE-UP BAG  ~

Gift With - (Out?) Purchase!

Join in on the discussion over on Youtube! :)

So, here is the story... basically I explain it all in my un-bagging video above however I will also give you a bit of a run down here.  So you are probably wondering
why I have titled this as a 'Gift With - (Out?) Purchase!' ?? Well let me explain. It is all
innocent I swear!

So nearing toward the end or it may have actually been the very last day of this promotion
in store. My husband, kids and I were out on the weekend getting some groceries and a
few other odds and ends around our local little shopping centre, and as you do when you
just want to get home late on a Sunday arvo with the kids beginning to get tired and
cranky we decided to split up. My son (2yrs) and I went to Coles and the hubby and my
daughter (4yrs) went to Priceline for totally unrelated fun makeup things!

So basically my husband saw the gift bag sitting on the shelf, had a look at it and decided
on impulse to surprise me with it. Then had second thoughts and wanted me to be able to
come in and pick out the products I wanted just in case he picked some things I already
had or didn't like. So after speaking to the lady in the store, she explained it was their last
bag and that he could just take it as they were about to close and were apparently just
trying to get rid of it! 0_o

Yippeeeee! Thank you lady from Priceline! You just made one very tired and worn out
mummy very, very happy!! :)

Each year the gift bags that Priceline offer differ slightly. You can check out last year's makeup gift
with purchase bag here. This years bag is about the same size as last years and like last years bag, it
is a lovely girlie pink colour with roses and a gold zip. I really like it, however last years still remains
my favourite thus far.

PRICELINE

~  PRICELINE  ~

Goodie Bag!

(Gift with purchase over $60+!)

http://www.priceline.com.au

This has got to be in my opinion one of the best GWP offers I have seen from Priceline or anywhere
else for that matter for quite some time. Usually, even though I would love to buy every single goodie
bag which comes along, I am pretty good at controling myself and keeping my spending habits under
control. I am after all on a strict culling with my Project Pan trying to de-clutter the masses which
have completely taken over every inch of space in my bathroom. Oops!

However, when I saw this GWP advertised I was instantly drawn to the baby pink make-up bag with
the super cute, adorable white & gold bow! Completely and utterly my taste and I knew I simply
could not resist this time. Dammit, I have been SO good, I deserve this treat!

So with Mother's Day just gone, on the lead up I made it clear what I wanted to be gifted. ;)
My hubby was very clever in convincing me he couldn't get it saying he went to Priceline and they
were all sold out. Trying not to get my hopes up I tried not to think too much about it as he had come
home with a beautiful bunch of Tulips (my fav flower) instead.
So I was happy with that. Who doesn't love been given fresh flowers?!

Then Mother's Day morning came and with the four of us in bed (we have a almost 4yr & almost 2yr
old) I was given a massive, stunninly wrapped in pink with silver butterfy tissue paper and clear celo
complete with 2 balloons. One saying 'Happy Mother's Day' the other a bright pink star and two
cards. One from the hubby and one written by my eldest, from her and my youngest. Too cute!

Anyway, needless so say I was so surprised and overwhelmed as this busy SAHM does not get to be
spoilt like this often. So I was very grateful!

On with the goodies!!!

Apparently hubby thinks I have a nail polish obsession or something. Whatever could have given him
that idea? Could be the 1756384,85400 bottles I have which I have absolutely not need/room for?
Thanks for not understanding but loving me enough to buy me 10 bottles more anyway! lol

Essie Nail Lacquer in Jamaica Me Crazy (Buy!)

Once he thought he had stocked up on enough nail polish to last me the century, he told me he didn't
want to just get me nail polish but was lost on what else to get. So the sales assistant at Priceline
lead him over to the Natio stand and recommended these two items.
Natio Mineral Eyeshadow Trio in 'Illuminate' (Buy!) & Natio Heavenly Eyes Mineral Eyeshadow in 'Jade Diva' (Buy!)

Overall, I am so happy with everything, however if I am honest I would have picked out completely
different items for the qualifing $60 spend, but who cares, I love everything and it was so sweet of
him to go shopping by himself in Priceline with no shame and purchase a basket full of cosmetics for
me! (Love him!)

Oh and this gorgeous pink body sponge! (Buy!)

GRWM

GET READY WITH ME!

Pop Of Colour!

I can't help but keep the love theme going with this Pop Of Colour make-up look as pink lips
are just my thing. Always my go to shade no matter what day, season or occasion it is! I am
just drawn to it. So recently when I received this shade in my BellaBox from Laqa & Co I was
thrilled and couldn't wait to play! I lined my lips first with one of my favourite lip liners from
ChiChi called Bimbo. A gorgeous hot pink which helped the Laqa & Co Menatour shade stay
firmly in place and really pop!

Because I felt like playing with a bit of colour, I pulled out my coloured ChiChi eye liners
which I hadn't used in quite a while. I applied both Disco Graffiti and Disco Royalty to my
top lash line over the top of my Maybelline Master Precise black liquid liner which actually looked
alright, however it doesn't seem to show up very well in photos. I don't normally apply liner to my
bottom lashes for day to day wear, however I applied both ChiChi colours and I am really happy
with the result. :) The shadows look quite natural and show up a little more understated in photos,
however the Maybelline ExpertWear eyeshadows I am wearing are actually my favourite right
now and I have been wearing this particular quad the most. If you're interested, you can watch
my make-up tutorial using four of the quads from the range here. :)

Of course (and I always say this) my make-up is nothing without a decent base.
To get this even, smooth finish I was a bit lazy and skipped on primer for no reason in particular.
I jumped right in a applied my Maybelline Better Skin Foundation with my Beauty Blender and
then went in under my eyes with the matching Maybelline Better Skin Concealer to conceal my
tired, sleep deprived eyes. Oh! And how can I forget my brows. I recently ran out of my Avon
brow pencil and have been switching between my Maybelline Brow Mascara and the one I've
used here which is actually an eye pencil by L'Oreal but both the formul and shade work
perfectly on my brows. It keeps them in place and looking groomed but still natural.

To complete my overall look, I have framed my face with my hair using my current obsession.
The VS Sasoon Evoke straightener which is this gorgeous pink which matches my lips to a tee!
The L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil does my hair so much good by calming down my fly aways,
frizz and makes my hair feel silky smooth and soft. Bottle of pure gold this stuff!

SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES

~ September Favourites! ~

Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk
With it already hitting up to 30 degrees most days here in Qld,
hiding in my jeans is no longer a comfortable option, so the shorts and
skirts are in and my bare legs have been gradually getting a makeover!

Scunci Expandable Headbands
I've never seen this style of headband before.
I love how handy these are to have in your pocket, handbag,
car, etc ready at a moments notice without having to stress about
having a large on snapping. These fold up small and compact so easily!

Sukin Treatment Oil
This has done wonders on some of my acne scaring on my face.
I also like to use this to help with my stretched out gut from having
two beautiful bundles of joy whom I adore, the skin all over my torso,
however sure ain't how it used to be!

Rediscovered old, old favourite!
I'd completely forgotten I had this, but upon sorting
through my beauty products into sections, (ie, all makeup removers
together!) I begun using this all over again and have no idea why I ever
stopped. I love the foam texture, it's awesome!

Velvet Goats Milk Beauty Bar
A newly discovered product this month, goats milk has
me embracing soap in the shower again! Makes my skin feel
lovely and soft. I've been totally into this using it everyday!

Maybelline Colorshow Street Artist Top Coat in White Splatter
A surprise gift bought home from hubby recently,
I instantly feel in love with this the moment I laid eyes on it!
The colour and mixed mash of different textures is so pretty
and creates an awesome effect on your nails.

OPI Nail Lacquer in Hey Baby
Recently received this in my The Parcel subscription box.
Such a signature shade of mine. (Magenta pink) I can't seem to
shake it. After finding space for this on my polish rack, it was obvious
and a little eye opening to me to realize over half of all of my OPI's
are some shade of pink! What can I say? I'm a girlie girl! :)

What were your favs for September?

BABYLIPS

~ MAYBELLINE ~

Baby Lips in Mango Pie!

You know those days when you just don't feel like loading up the makeup
onto your face? When you don't have plans to leave the house so what's the point?
Well, to be honest, I have quite a few days like that. As I am a stay at home mum.

I don't usually wear lipstick at home everyday, but I always like to wear
some kind of balm at least.
The Maybelline Baby Lips have got to be my favourite kind!
The packaging is so bright, colourful and happy.

There are so many different flavours, it's easy to become addicted and wanting
to collect them all. I am currently on a strict de-cluttering
diet so I only have four and that's enough to keep me going for now.

The current fav of the bunch is this Mango Pie flavoured scent.
It's so yummy, I find myself kicking my lips constantly!

Not only does it taste yummy, it also feels nice on the lips.
Glides on smoothly and leaves my lips moisturised, soft and supple for a few
hours before the need to reapply without feeling like I have a heavy gloss of balm
suffercating them.

As you can see, my lips look natural and nude.
The Balm doesn't give off much of a tint to your lips at all,
so it's perfect for all ages. I love that young ones can wear it too!
My 3 year old, like most little girls loves any opportunity to dive into
my makeup and play dress up. At least with these they can't make too much
of a mess and they don't end up looking like a crazy clown afterwards!

What's your favourite Baby Lips flavour?
Recommend me some flavours in the comments below!
