BEENIGMA

BEENIGMA

All In One Face Cream

Review!

http://www.beenigma.com

Here's a fun fact that is sure to blow your mind. At least it completely blew mine and took me by
surprise. Bee Venom is the big new trend in anti-ageing skincare! Say what?! I know right! How
bazaar you say? Well let me explain, and trust me it's worth a try!

Let me introduce to you Beenigma, a cruelty free New Zealand skincare brand which uses the venom
from bee stings in a safe and pain free environment for the bee in which they release a small amount
of their venom without loosing their stinger, therefore not losing their lives like bees normally would.

The powerful bee venom tricks the body into thinking it has been stung (Obviously this product is
NOT recommended if you have a known allergic reaction to bee stings!) without causing any pain
or inflammation to the skin, however mild tingling may be felt. Rather the venom actually contains
anti-ageing properties including amino acids, peptides, enzymes and other replenishing proteins all
working together which smoothes the skin, reducing the appearance or wrinkles and plumping up the
skin giving it a more youthful and lifted appearance.

The other two key ingredients used in this facial cream are some of my personal favourites! These are
Manuka Honey, Shea Butter and Almond Oil. I have used all of these amazing ingredients in products before and just love the hydration, scent and caring nature and feeling each gives to my skin.

Manuka Honey (which I also regularly buy and eat on my toast most mornings) is a richer, darker
form of natural honey. On it's own this delicious sticky substance has it's own super powers including
being anti inflammatory, anti bacterial and anti-ageing. It also contains amino acids, antioxidants and
is one of natures more powerful skin healers which makes complete sense to use this for repairing the
skin in turn making it young again.

Shea Butter is soothing to the skin and also replenishing which I think is a perfect partner in this bee
venom cream. The Almond Oil is super hydrating and absorbs into the skin fast. It gives caring
nourishment to the skin.

This gorgeous blend of ingredients create this creamy yummy scented day and night cream which is
thick and white in appearance. This luxe 50ml white and gold jar comes with a small scoop stick to
help with application and avoid contamination in the cream.

Beenigma is available to purchase directly from their website for current RRP of $124.95 which
includes free shipping!

DISOUNT CODE! For 20% off enter CANDYFAIRY20 at checkout!

Also available is their 5ml travel size cream for just $17.95!

AVENE

AVENE

Eau Thermale

Tolerance Extreme Cream

Review!

Avene to me, is one of those skincare brands you seem to hear about and see a lot of, however I have
just never gotten myself around to actually using anything from this hypoallergenic range suitable for
even the most sensitive of skin types. Until now, I have been lucky enough to try their new Avene
Eau Thermale Tolerance Extreme Cream and I am so excited to share my thoughts on this facial
hydrater!

At a modest 50ml, the white cream is on the thicker and richer side when it comes to facial skin
moisturisers. I found it to have absolutely no scent what so ever, so if you're one of those people
wary of or not keen on scented creams near your nose then this is one you need not worry about!

This rich cream can be used as both a day and/or night cream. As it is so thick and generous, it is
absolutely perfect if you skin is especially dry or irritated. The thermal water, shea butter, safflower
seed oil amongst other ingredients work together in this cream to both soothe, hydrate and soften the
skin.

Avene are the first brand I have seen to package their products in a complete sterile manner. This
unique style of tube dispenser (see image below) works to keep the formulation inside completely
fresh thus eliminating the need to mix any preservatives into their products which can be irritating
and upsetting to a lot of people's skin.

No need to freak out, it is still super simple and easy to use! In fact it isn't complicated at all to
dispense the product out of the tube. All that happens is the little round circle you see in the middle
of the hole inside the flip top lid just pops out for a second and 'ta-da!' out pops a pea size amount of
cream. Just the right amount to cover your whole face, neck and décolletage. Easy peasy!

This product is said to work best if first used with the Avene Tolerance Extreme Cleansing Lotion and
the Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray. All of which are available to purchase directly from
Priceline, Amcal and most other chemists. You can check their official website for exact locations in
your area.

MAGNIFEYES

~  Rimmel London  ~
Magnif'Eyes Shadow & Liner Pens!

I have recently been testing out two of these gorgeous shimmery brand new double ended eye shadow
liners from Rimmel London in the shades 'Back To Blacks' & "Queens Of The Bronzed Age'
and I have been completely digging the easy to wear combo!

I have mainly been using the lighter shade of  the bronzy brown all over my lid and lightly on my
brow bone and then blending in the darker brown shade into my crease. These are so easy to blend
that I have just been using my finger which I find with these in particular works much better than
using a shadow brush as I normally would with any other eye shadow product, however since
these are cream shadows and not powder this technique is easiest, quickest and I have found most
effective.

Whilst the formula itself is quite soft, but they do blend beautifully together and these two which I have in particular look great together for both everyday wear as well as night when a bolder line is drawn and then smudged for a smokey effect. The duel end means one end is pointier than the other which makes for an easy thin or bold line.

The shades do have some shimmer in them which transfer onto the skin in a really pretty way without looking like too much glitter dust! I found they lasted for a good full day without creasing or fading.

These new Rimmel London Magnif'Eyes Double Ended Eyeshadow Pens also come in shades
"Kissed By A Rose Gold" & "Dark Side Of Blue" and can be purchased from Priceline, Coles,
K-Mart, Big W and Target as well as selected pharmacies here in Australia for current RRP $16.95ea.

Have you tried these shadow pens?
Which shade are you most keen to try or which is your favourite?

DIRTY WORKS

~  DIRTY WORKS  ~

COCONUT BODY BUTTER!

If you've been reading my blog for a while or know me personally you'll know how obsessed
I am with coconut scented things! That along with vanilla and milk & honey are my stand out
favourite flavours when it comes to beauty products.

This Coconut Body Butter by Dirty Works has had me smelling like a sweet coconut desert each night recently and I am loving it! I have been applying this after showering as it absorbs so much
better on damp skin and blends right into my skin like a dream. It also doesn't feel sticky which is great because I have tried some body butters in the past (particularly sweet scented ones) which
tend to leave a sticky and sickly sweet scent without soaking into or doing much if anything for
 my skin.

This generous sized 300ml tub however has made my skin feel so smooth and soft. Waking up in
the morning, I can tell it has done it's job overnight at replenishing my skin with moisture and getting
rid of the dryness, especially the scaly skin on my knees and the skin on and around my feet.

As you can see from both the pic above and below, this body butter is so thick and ultra creamy
and just so much fun to use! It is so inviting at times I feel like diving right in there!

The purple tub is such a gorgeous purple and as an obsessive beauty product junkie I am now
lusting after the matching Coco Cabana Coconut Wash and matching Life's A Beach Coconut Scrub!

Check out http://www.dirtyworksbeauty.com for more adorably cute products & further info!

Dirty Works products are available to purchase here in Australia from Target & Coles.
This particular product currently RRP's for just $9.95!

LANCOME

~  LANCOME  ~

NEW

Renergie Multi-Lift!

Having turned 31 at the very beginning of the year really nailed it into me just how fast
my 30's are already progressing and how long ago my 20's seemed!

Now, more than ever I am focused on my anti-ageing skincare regime and fighting the inevitable battle of getting older.

When products like this one come my way I get so excited as this would not normally be a product
within my budget to purchase for myself.

This product is a luxe treat and one I am treating like a little tub of pure gold,
because at the end of the day, I'd rather have flawless, perfect skin than a tub of gold any day!
Vein? Yep!

My bedroom decor has a few mirrored furniture pieces and the packaging of this fits in like family.
The silver box with it's gold signature rose accent is so gorgeous and lady like.
The beauty only continues as you open up the box and delve inside the violet casing.

The formula has a rich, pretty scent which reminds me of a well kept older woman. Dripping in
pearls and diamonds with her make-up perfectly applied. Every time I apply this ulta light, creamy
gel like cream I imagine I will be like that in my 60's, 70's and beyond. (Or however long I last
on this earth!) Still looking around 30 when I'm in my 70's?! Yes please!

At the moment though, my skin is behaving pretty well. It seems to have grown out it it's acne
fit and it is a lot less oily than it used to be. I would classify my skin as normal with a few fine lines
around my eyes when I smile as well as those deep worry lines across my forehead. Other than that,
my skin is okay.

Since using this Lancome NEW Renergie Multi-Lift Cream, I have noticed my skin to feel much
softer. The skin on my neck and chest area seem to be much smoother and less irritated. I seem
to get random red rashes in this area about once a day whenever I am stressed or anxious and
I feel like this cream has calmed it all down since applying this cream.

As for the multi-lift effect. The only place I feel like has had gravity take to it a tiny bit is my cheeks.
In some photos I can tell they're not as plump as they once were.  After about a week of using this
cream twice daily, I can see, even without taking a picture, my skin has lifted ever so slightly!
I'm not sure how long the effect will last, but I am loving it! It makes so much difference to my
confidence, especially when I smile! So amazed as no other product I've used has ever achieved
this effect!

Overall a really lovely cream which I highly recommend. I don't see how anyone wouldn't
love using this and wouldn't love it!

EMERGINC

~ e  m  e  r  g  i  n  C ~
                                         Scientific  Organics!

Kombucha  Cleanser
This feels refreshing and cool against my skin and as it lathers up quite well
I was able to get quite a few uses out of this little 3ml sachet.

The scent is mild and reminds me of a day spa. I found it didn't strip my skin but still
gave it a clean look and feeling. Removes excess oil, dirt and even makeup!

Full size is 120ml and has a RRP of $35.00

Phytocell Cream
I used this cream over a few days at both day and night and it felt very
pampering, creamy and soft on my skin. It melted right in and I really enjoyed it.
Extremely hydrating and contains concentrated grape stem cells which help
to brighten the skin and improve it's texture, and tone.

Contains an impressive list of ingredients those of which I found most interesting and appealing
being both green and white tea as well as food grade seaweed!

You can find the full list of ingredients of each product on the emerginC website.
(Link at the bottom of this post!)

Full size is 50ml and has a RRP of $87.50

Similar to the Phytocell Cream, this mask draws out impurities, nourish, soothe,
brighten and improve the skins overall texture and tone.

Recommended to use 1-3 times a week and like a regular mask you just leave it on for
around 10-15 minutes. I experiences a very slight tingling sensation once the mask had
started to settle into my skin and begin drying but it only lasted about a minute and wasn't
anything uncomfortable and it felt more like it was getting down deep into my pores and giving
them a good clean out which I noticed after washing off the mask. My pores were noticeably
clear of any dirt or grime and my skin appeared more toned, even and smooth.

Full size is 50ml and has a RRP of $50.00

Peel Pad
This kind of product is completely new and different to me as I'd never used or applied
any kind of facial peel product to my skin before.
This was interesting because you actually apply this pad directly to your face whilst
completely dry and after 2-5 minutes you remove it with a cool facial washer or you
can just rinse the product away with water. Not a process I am used to, but still a very easy
and simple procedure to follow.

Like the Detox Mask, I did feel a little tingling similar to
what I felt when I used the mask, although a little stronger but still not painful or uncomfortable.
Afterwards my skin felt renewed and felt relaxed which I didn't expect from a peel. I was
expecting my face to look and feel quite raw, but the stereotypical of this procedure wasn't like
that at all! The ingredients include - Natural fruit acids, aloe, tea tree, green tea, black willow
bark and apple extracts, just to name a few!

All of emerginC ingredients are at least 70% organic!

This Peel Pad is sold together with their Clarifying Pads as an at home two step facial peel and
clarifying kit. Each product comes with x60 pads each and retails at a RRP of $90.00

Totally free of any artificial fragrances, colours or parabens!
No animal testing and their products are packaged so beautifully full size
in earth friendly, recyclable packaging. At present, they are even claiming
to plant a tree for each product purchased! How amazing is that? Now that is
something worth supporting! I love the initiative to purchase. Such a lovely idea!

This brand is up there in terms of quality and beauty.
Their products are focused on helping slow down and preventing the evident
ageing progress seen on our skin and uses only the highest quality, most natural
ingredients to do this such as - Vitamin C, Witch Hazel, Green Tea and Aloe.

emerginC products can be purchased from a number of stores online
or from selected spas worldwide.

Check out their official website for further details!

I have a problem...!!!

So if you've been regularly reading my blog from the beginning you know that
I am trying to de-clutter my home. We have two little ones to make space for in

Kora Organics By Miranda Kerr ♡

I remember way back in 1997, being 13 and buying my very first issue of Dolly magazine with Miranda Kerr on the cover. It was her winning cover after her winning the Dolly Model Competition. Ever since then, even though we are pretty much the same age, I have looked up to her and watched her career take off. We were both born in a small country town not far from each other in NSW and at a time in my life that was extremely trying, I found inspiration and hope in that one day my life would somehow work out and my dreams would too come true. I didn't become a world famous supermodel, but as simple as my life turned out, it was my dream and it came true.

Treasure Yourself
By Miranda Kerr

Recently I was browsing around Target and being the book worm that I am was strolling past the books when one caught my eye. I had no idea Miranda had released another book. I only had about ten seconds to quickly flick through it and from what I could gather it looked much the same to her first. (Only the cover of this book is purple instead of pink) A book filled with motivational, inspiring quotes and empowering facts of life. I wasn't able to purchase the book on this occasion, but hope to sometime in the future as I have her first and found it a calming, self loving read. It's a great book to randomly flick through on days when you're feeling like it's all too much. It can really lift your spirits and help to appreciate and to look on the bright side of life.

Her skin case range, Kora Organics is a natural, nurturing, beautiful smelling range of products. I have only purchased the Day & Night Cream so far as they're quite high up there when it comes to price and my budget is super tight.  The Day & Night Cream feels so beautiful on my skin. I love to use it morning and night on my face and neck. I would use it as an all over body moisturiser but I don't want to use it up too quickly.

Kora Organics Day & Night Cream

98.32% Ingredients from Natural Origin.
74.05% from Organic Farming
