Clear Intense Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner

This also featured as a favourite of mine in my June Favourites last month,

and even though I've been juggling a few different shampoos and conditioners

this month, this one still remains a firm fav!

L'Oréal Paris Eyeshadow Palette in Northern Lights

I recently hauled this palette and haven't stopped using it ever since!

The shades are perfect to create a natural everyday look that is buildable

for also going out at night and the shades compliment my features really nicely.

Maybelline NY Superstay Better Skin Foundation in Light Beige

I've been trialing this for Beautyheaven recently and have been enjoying the results.

Goes on very smooth and looks and feels light whilst still providing a decent

amount of coverage.

Puretopia Bioactive Solutions Gentle Exfoliating Face Scrub

I've only been using this for a short time, but I already feel like this is a

worthy fav! It is definitely one of my more luxurious scrubs. Feels

very pampering and does a brilliant job at gently removing dead skin

build up leaving my skin so smooth and soft!

Maybelline NY Baby Lips in Mango Pie

Another MNY fav would have to be my baby lips, in particular this month

the Mango flavour has taken my fancy most of all. Once you get past the vibrant

and bright coloured packaging which I love, the formula itself is sheer and smells

amazing! I love to apply this throughout the day when I'm home or out and about

with the kids as I'm constantly hugging and kissing them! With this I don't have to

worry about any sticky or coloured lip product transferring onto them.

Organic Care Ginger & Lemongrass Antibacterial Hand Wash

I recently trialed this for Beautyheaven and it has made me realize how much

I enjoy using liquid hand washes as opposed to block soaps.

I especially like the antibacterial aspect of this product as I'm currently

in the middle of toilet training my toddler and needless to say we have been

putting this to very good use!

Scunci Pin Twirls

These are such a versatile hair product and are perfect for holding hair in

place without the need for any elastics or bobby pins.

Luminesce Cellular Rejuvenation Serum

Only in the past maybe two years or so have I discovered the power of 

facial serums. I only wish I'd known how much of a difference they actually

make to your skin earlier. This one I've been particularly impressed with

lately. I've been using this for quite a few months and the results are evident

in my skins overall appearance.

Skin B5 Skin Purifying Mask

I'd never used a Skin B5 product before I tried this which I received

late last year in my Blogstar prize pack. 

As my skin is naturally acne prone, unless I keep it in check with products such as

this, it goes ballistic! If I just want a quick pimple fix, I'll just dab a little bit of

this on the spot and leave it on as long as i can throughout the day or night

and it clears the area right up. It's brilliant!

L'Oreal Paris Nail Polish in White Gold

I picked this up from Priceline recently and omg, the colour is full on GLITTER!!!

No sparse spots or crappy clear application, this glitter goes on with a full completed coat

of white gold glitter with just ONE coat! Looks so beautiful, watch out for a NOTD post featuring 

this baby coming soon! :)

Bloom Black Liquid Eyeliner

I can't live without liquid eyeliner. So when I recently used up

all of my Rimmel one, I came back to this one which I had only used

a few times. I love this because the tip as you can see is nice and thin

which makes for a more controlled application. It hasn't dried out in the

slightest and I just love the packaging. Super cute!

Organic Care Vanilla Ylang Ylang Body Wash

Love this, it is so so yummy! The smell reminds me of a caramel/vanilla

fudge lolly or something similar. Such a massive bottle I sure hope I don't tire

of it too quickly! Lathers up so beautifully and feels so soft and smooth on my skin.

Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Intense Hydration

Shampoo & Conditioner

No matter what I do or what products I use, my hair always tends to be dry and frankly

a pain in the ass. So I am always using moisturising products and products that promise

to d-frizz my hair. The fact that I heat iron the crap out of it on the hottest setting I can

possible get to probably doesn't help the situation, but that's just the way I roll. 

A hotter setting means I get the job done quicker and I don't have time to be standing

around straightening my hair for hours on end in a low setting just to make my hair a 

bit less dry. There are products like these below to fix me breaking all the rules of hair care!

VS Sassoon Curl Secret

Speaking of hot hair tools, I've been in love with my Curl Secret again lately.

For something a bit different than the regular boring straight hair I normally sport,

I've been trying to get that Victoria's Secret type of curl since my hair has become super

long lately. Out of all of my other curling tools, this is working the best to create the look

I'm going for. I might do a hair tutorial soon. Is that something you'd like to see? Let me know! :)

Eve's Ready To Wear Moisturising Lipstick by Teeez

I love everything about this lipstick!

The colour is the perfect pink. Wearable to go with everything, everyday.

The packaging is beautiful rose gold and very funky in design.

I just can't get enough. Has become my go-to lip product!

Scunci Detangling Brush

I seem to have been into a lot of hair products this month.

This is great because, well, my hair is a pretty big part of my life and my overall

appearance. Being long, it needs a lot of work and to have great products to help me out

makes my life so much easier! This brush has made brushing a much more pleasant 

experience. It somehow manages to get all of my tangles loose without me having to

tug or pull at my hair. It does the job quickly and painlessly! My three year old has been

using the kids version of this and loves it too. They come in fun colours and I love that

I don't have to feel so guilty about brushing my hair when it's wet because these are designed

that you can actually do that without damaging your hair because of the way the bristles are

laid out on the brush head.

Bargain Haul

Bargain Weekend Haul

All Under $10!

I initially went out purely to spend my $25 Priceline voucher

which I received for being a part of the L'Oréal Fibralogy

trial team. Which I did successfully in about 3 minutes!

I wasn't sure what I was going to purchase, but I knew I

wanted either the L'Oréal True Match foundation as I've 

heard so many great reviews on it and would love to try it out,

or their new eyeliner pen.... well, I didn't end up getting either of those. 

Why is it when you shop online it's easier to stick to a list and then

when I go into a store and see so many other beautiful shiny things,

my list suddenly becomes unimportant and I end up way off track?

Here is what caught my eye and I am very happy and excited to play! 

(I will share the details at the end of this post!)

After my trip to Priceline, I went to meet up with my husband 

and daughter in K-Mart with my son luckily being a little angel in tow,

so I decided to was ok to get a little distracted by all the amazing bargains

around me. :)

These PJ's are so cute and we're hanging out the front of the store on

a crazy $3 rack! I and what felt like a swarm of others were also 

easily distracted my the range of incredible bargains!

These sweet little black sequin bow slip ons caught my eye on the way

into the store as well. K-Mart are very good at doing that!

I had a simular pair I wore until they literally fell apart because I

loved them so much, they were comfortable and go with pretty much 

everything so I can just slip them on and run out the door without

having to think because most days I just don't have the time to try on

a bunch of shoes to match my outfit. With two little ones, it just grab and go!

My hair and I have forever been at battle to somehow tame my frizzy, dry and damaged hair! My hair has been through a lot over the years of being victim to trends of dying, styling, sculpting & shaping, not to mention burning, straightening & curling to no end! So needless to say it has taken its toll!

Before I starting using this product some time ago now, my hair was DRY and had that awful 'crunch' sound to the ends! *cringe!* 

But now I am  happy as a skipping 5 year old with ice-cream as my hair has a new lease on life! It has completely transformed into Miranda Kerr worthy shiny, soft, luxurious locks! (Well almost! She's kinda impossible to compete with! Let's be honest here!)

For $19.95 for a 100ml stunning golden glass bottle, you totally get your money's worth as I am sure it would last most people ages to get through the bottle. My hair is long and thick and I only need about 2-3 pumps at most to finger through my hair each day which is super quick & easy to do by the way! It only takes a few seconds to apply and then you're good to go!

The smell is lovely too. Nothing too fancy or overpowering. Just enough to have passers by think you have great smelling hair!

I love the fact that this oil has so many natural flower oils! Sounds so girly and just lovely to me! Like who doesn't want their hair to smell like a bunch of flowers, right?

Instead of the oil turning your hair into an instant oil slick, it instantly soaks into each hair strand and I swear straight away you can notice the difference in touch & sight!

This golden gem makes me so happy! Nothing has ever come close to completely fixing my hair & I am so grateful for this product!

Softest wipes EVER! 

Love them, perfect!

Classic brand. Classic cream.

Sample pot. So handy and works wonders.

Another Nivea product all used up.

Sample sizes. Do the job well.

Smell nice and fresh too!

Used these up from my trial with L'Oréal. 

Loved them and they smell great!

I have so many shampoo and conditioner bottles

at the moment, (don't ask me how that happened!?)

so I am keen to get in a finish up a few more different brands

of bottles I have stored away half used.

Hopefully I can feature some in next months empties!

How Do These Beautiful BB Creams Compare?

As you can see, I am a big fan of BB (Beauty Balm) Creams! 

This trend seemed to have exploded into the market over the past few years and I am guilty as charged of being sacked into the craze.

I have tried many of them and these are just some of my favourites from a few brands I truly love and believe deliver premium results.

ChiChi Super BB Cream in Light

I absolutely adore the ChiChi brand. Their products are so much fun and this one is no exception.  The smell makes my skin subtly perfumed without irritating my senses. The packaging is my favourite out of all my BB Creams and the coverage is amazing! 

Rimmel London BB Cream in Medium 

I love this more so in the warmer months as it's actually a bit dark for my

natural skin tone. It has a reasonable amount of SPF which I really appreciate 

in a face product, especially if I'm wearing it when the sun it at its harshest.

Maybelline NY Dream Pure BB Cream in Light

Maybelline was one of the first brands of makeup I ever bought and wore growing up and it has always remained a firm favourite.  I love the Tiffany Blue shade on the packaging and the fact that it contains 2% Salicylic Acid which aids in preventing and treating acne prone skin is a major plus to me because that is exactly what my skin is. 

Garnier BB Cream in Light

This was the first BB Cream I ever tried and it still remains a firm favourite.

The colour blends into my natural shade flawlessly and it looks so natural and feels light and moisturizing on my skin.

Revlon Photoready BB Cream

I love to wear this on days I know I'm going to be in a lot of photos or if I'm filming a video. As the title states, it really does transform your skin to be photoready all day long. It stops that annoying, unflattering shine I often get on my face throughout the day, especially when it is hot. It completely conceales minor skin flaws including redness and fine lines. I love this and highly recommend it. 

Bobby Brown BB Cream

-

I love Bobby Brown,  as a premium brand, their products are totally lost worthy and I only own a precious few, but with this BB Cream,  I don't feel like it delivers as well as it should, especially for the steep price. The SPF factor is brilliant, but the coverage is not very good in my opinion. 

L'Oréal Revitalift Total Repair BB Cream in Light

-

I feel like this BB Cream received a lot of negative reviews when it was first released, and I'm unsure why. I have been very pleased with the appearance of my skin when using this and the pump dispense is awesome, although you only need about half the amount it puts out, so you only need to press the pump down about half way. The only downside I found was the light shade was actually quite dark. Mixed with a lighter foundation, concealer, sunscreen or moisturiser though, it lightens it up nicely and works well.

L'Oréal Paris Fibralogy Shampoo & Conditioner

L'oréal Paris Fibralogy Range!

Recently I was selected to become part of L'Oréal Paris's 

Trial Team to test out their brand new

Fibralogy range.

So over the past four weeks I have had the pleasure of

putting these thickening hair products through

their paces.

Here is my before & after shot so hopefully you can see

Some kind of positive effect this has made on my hair.

Personally I think my hair feels and looks a little fuller.

My hair is already naturally quite thick, so I 

wondered how this would fair.

More than anything, I feel like my hair

has more body and shape to it which I am loving!

The formula smells amazing and makes your

hair instantly feel incredibly smooth when you're

indulging in some precious me time in the shower. 

(I know you hear me fellow mummy's!) 

I am looking forward to how much more this

will effect my hair the more I use it.

I think this would be worth trying for anyone

looking for fuller hair with more body and shape.

Even men with thinning hair, this is worth a try!

I have felt like the serum has really helped in making

a huge difference, so I wouldn't go skipping out on it.

Use it for quicker and more dramatic results.

I love boots with different style socks and leggings paired with an oversized jumper or warm top.

It looks so chic, yet is so comfortable and effortless and looks great on everyone!

I don't like to burn candles often just because it isn't safe with little ones running around.
So I don't own many. I do love fresh, rainforest, 
tropical scented ones though for the wet season.

I don't think so.... no.

Here in Australia, I really welcome the cooler weather after the usual scorching Summer!

Bring on the hot chicken, noodle, veggie, pumpkin and tomato soaps!

I love mine with toasty bread and loads of butter. 
So good!

 Which celebrity inspires you most in Autumn?

In terms of fashion and style? 
I would have to go to Miranda Kerr or inspiration. 
She always pulls off the most amazing outfits that don't look
 completely out of reach to the average girl.
