MAX FACTOR

~ MAX FACTOR ~

Velvet Volume False Lash Effect Mascara

REVIEW!

I own a few other Max Factor makeup items in my collection and I have always wondered why I
don't hear as much of this brand as some others. I feel like Max Factor deserves a bit more
recognition as their products are amazing!

I have really enjoyed incorporating this mascara into my everyday makeup routine along with others from the brand. Together they work well and I love the end result.

The sleek and posh black & gold tube is very classy and grown up looking as opposed to some other brightly coloured ones on the market. This makes me feel good to use for a change. I like the feeling!

The wand is easy to use and hold in my hand. I can apply steadily and coat every single lash, even those almost invisible ones on the inner corner on both the top & bottom.

My lashes are nothing to brag about so I loved having them given a nice amount of extra length and volume to make me appear more awake, alive and with the illusion of slightly bigger eyes. YAS!! :D (I have always envied Ashley Olsen's doll like beautiful big eyes!) My eyes don't look quite THAT amazing, but using this mascara has definitely helped!

No overpowering scent or anything which I like when it comes to mascaras because then I definitely know when they need to hit the bin as soon as I begin to feel that waft of product creep up my nose!

Overall, this mascara has been great and I have been using it everyday. For night to add a little more drama, I found applying a few extra coats made a bigger difference in making them appear to have that slight 'False Lash Effect'.

I would recommend for both day & night for those who want a more grown up, classy looking mascara that is versatile in giving you a range of looks from office professional to let your hair down party animal depending on how many coats you apply. :)

NOVEMBER EMPTIES

~  November Empties  ~

Previous Months - January / February / March / April / May / June / July / August / September / October

Velvet Moisturising Beauty Bar (Review!)
This had a nice classic clean scent which was lovely to use and lasted ages! Really affordable and
the whole family helped me use them up. Even the kids seemed to enjoy, so gentle enough for them.
Very moisturising and non drying to the skin as well. :)

QV Gentle Shampoo
This was a great little sample tube which I used on both my 2 and 4 year olds hair. It had a mild scent
and foamed up well and was very soft feeling. I liked how shiny and smooth it made my kids hair. :)

Organyc Regular Tampons (Review!)
Not much to say here, great product, does the job and the kind which are better for the environment
get my tick of approval!

Sealicious Hand & Nail Cream
Received both this and the the Sealicious Foot Cream little sample pots in my gift bag from The Doll
Connection blogger event recently. This was my first time trying the brand and even though they
were small amounts to try, I liked it after just a few applications.

Sealicious Foot Cream
This was one of those slightly minty foot creams which felt soothing on my skin. I really liked this
and by morning my feet felt really soft and smooth!

Revlon Beyond Natural Lashes
I loved these lashes. They were slightly more bold than my usual choice, however still looked really
good, especially on camera where it's less noticeable. I would buy/wear these again!

Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser (Buy!)
There are only a few facial cleansers which keep my skin looking clear and free from spots and this
was one of them. Of course I have to use it twice daily which fits perfectly into my regular routine.
It didn't dry out my skin and kept it looking fresh as well.

Organic Care Summer Mint Body Wash (Review!)
This was a huuuuuge pump bottle which I actually picked up in a previous Beautorium. I have finally
finished it up! It sure took a good while, which I don't mind because it also made great bubbles in my
kids bath and the scent was very mild and the formula gentle on both my and my little ones skin. :)

How are your empties going coming toward the end of the year?

SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES

~ September Favourites! ~

Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk
With it already hitting up to 30 degrees most days here in Qld,
hiding in my jeans is no longer a comfortable option, so the shorts and
skirts are in and my bare legs have been gradually getting a makeover!

Scunci Expandable Headbands
I've never seen this style of headband before.
I love how handy these are to have in your pocket, handbag,
car, etc ready at a moments notice without having to stress about
having a large on snapping. These fold up small and compact so easily!

Sukin Treatment Oil
This has done wonders on some of my acne scaring on my face.
I also like to use this to help with my stretched out gut from having
two beautiful bundles of joy whom I adore, the skin all over my torso,
however sure ain't how it used to be!

Rediscovered old, old favourite!
I'd completely forgotten I had this, but upon sorting
through my beauty products into sections, (ie, all makeup removers
together!) I begun using this all over again and have no idea why I ever
stopped. I love the foam texture, it's awesome!

Velvet Goats Milk Beauty Bar
A newly discovered product this month, goats milk has
me embracing soap in the shower again! Makes my skin feel
lovely and soft. I've been totally into this using it everyday!

Maybelline Colorshow Street Artist Top Coat in White Splatter
A surprise gift bought home from hubby recently,
I instantly feel in love with this the moment I laid eyes on it!
The colour and mixed mash of different textures is so pretty
and creates an awesome effect on your nails.

OPI Nail Lacquer in Hey Baby
Recently received this in my The Parcel subscription box.
Such a signature shade of mine. (Magenta pink) I can't seem to
shake it. After finding space for this on my polish rack, it was obvious
and a little eye opening to me to realize over half of all of my OPI's
are some shade of pink! What can I say? I'm a girlie girl! :)
