OPI WASHINGTON

O P I

Kerry Washington DC
Mini Collection

Fall/Winter 2016

I am a huge fan of OPI and their little mini packs! They are so cute and great to get a feel for the new
shades they release and figure out weather it's worth purchasing one full size. This mini pack is a set
of four shades. Every now and then you will find OPI releases their mini collections in a range from
four, six or even ten different shades.

The four shades in this pack are called...
'We The Female' - A blood cherry red. Sexy and powerful. This shade is my favourite!
'Pale To The Chief' - A barely there nude cream. Solid in colour, perfect for a classy occasion.
'CIA = Color Is Awesome' - Bold, daring and mysterious! Love this rebel shade!
'Never A Dulles Moment - Even bolder and more daring! Wear this shade to stand out in a crowd!

I love the red and pale pink shades and find myself reaching for these two shades the most!

There are a total of 15 shades you can find from this collection in their full size 15ml bottles.
The four shades mentioned above plus these ones below.

Stay Off The Lawn
Suzi - The First Lady Of Nails
Yank My Doodle
Freedom Of Peach
Squeaker Of The House
Shh... It's Top Secret!
Madam President
OPI By Popular Vote
Kerry Blossom
"Liv" In The Grey
Inside The ISABELLEtway

OPI nail polishes are great quality and worth the price! They dry quickly and the colour density is second to none. Always my first choice in lacquer.

You can find OPI mini collections and all other full size shades available both online and in store at
Myer, David Jones and selected salons Australia wide.

The current RRP for this mini pack is $24.95
Pretty great value when you consider just one full size bottle of OPI retails for $19.95.

Which shade is your favourite?

OPI VENICE

~  OPI  ~

Venice Mini Collection!

What a breath taking experience it would be to wander the cobble stone streets getting lost amongst
the grand historic buildings vastly rich in overflowing history. Venice is a place I have always wanted
to visit. Traveling the globe at this time in my life is just not a luxury that I can see happening any
time soon. So in the meantime indulging in inspiring designs in beauty from places around the
world such as this Fall/Winter mini collection from OPI, I can feel a small connection to the
place with a hint of glamour and a lot of beauty.

Swatched below from top left to bottom right are the shades which I will speak a little about each
below.

Amore At The Grand Canal
This classic bold red has me feeling like a royal tourist in my Venice daydreams.
This is such a rich shade which I found to be slightly darker than OPI's iconic 'Red' shade.
Loving this one for anytime of the day, night, season or occasion.

Worth A Pretty Penne
You know how I love my shimmer and this shade to me looks like a mix of glitzy rose gold copper.
It is simply gorgeous and definitely my favourite of the four. It goes with everything!

My Gondola Or Yours?
The fashionable black has me feeling mysterious and vampy. Reminds me of Angelina Jolie in the
movie 'The Tourist' with Johnny Depp. If you haven't seen that movie I highly recommend doing so.
It's shot in Venice and those two are a strangely perfect match in my opinion and two of my absolute
fav actors of all time!

A Great Opera-Tunity
Honestly, not my favourite colour nor one I would go for. The pale peachy hue just doesn't do enough
for me. I much prefer bright bolds, timeless natural classics and shimmer/glitters. I just found this
shade a little boring. But great for those who like very subtle or nude nails which don't draw any
attention.

You can find this collection currently at Myer, David Jones, selected pharmacies and stores for a
RRP - $24.95 (Buy!)

SIX SHADES OF OPI

O.P.I

Proudly Presents...

(x6 Mini Pack!)

(Left to right!)
Cement The Deal, Shine For Me, Romantically Involved, Embrace The Grey, Dark Side Of The
Mood & My Silk Tie.

CEMENT THE DEAL
This light grey is such a gorgeous, simple, neutral shade which adds I think a modern twist to the
'nude' mani. It almost has a similar colour to that of an ash toned mud mask. I am really loving it and
getting into these more natural fuss free polishes more and more lately!

SHINE FOR ME
I have always been and always will be a lover of glitter nail polish. It doesn't matter the colour or
texture of the sparkles, if it shines, I'm a fan! Here I have applied two coats to show better clarity of
it's structure. With a mix of blue and silver, together this sheer design would look flawless this Winter
over another seasonal shade such as one of the greys in this collection or even a deep berry or black.

ROMANTICALLY INVOLVED
An essential in any woman's collection. A classic ruby red is a must year round. I am obsessed with
this timeless hue. It needs no further explanation, it is just perfection in a lil bottle!

EMBRACE THE GREY
Slightly darker than the 'My Silk Tie' although very similar. This is another great shade to embrace
this sweater weather time of the year. I have been sporting this lover both casually in my everyday
jeans and a plain tee as well as when I have dressed up to out. This polish hue works both ways
effortlessly!

DARK SIDE OF THE MOOD
Easily mistaken for black, this deep dark grey is a lovely bold opaque lacquer with the tiniest hint of
silver shine amongst it. A very suitable Autumn/Winter hue also appropriate for rock stars and rebels. ;)

MY SILK TIE
Not the first polish I have owned like this. I have several actually from numerous brands, however
I am so glad to add one from OPI to my collection as the quality is far supreme and the drying time
is much better than most. I adore silver polishes and this one is nice and shiny and definitely my style!

This OPI Mini's Set can be purchased from many leading Australian retails including David Jones
for a current RRP: $24.95

APRIL FAVOURITES

~  APRIL FAVOURITES  ~

Another month has almost gotten away from me yet again. Let me share with you some products
which I really think are worth a look at that I have been heavily into lately! I have been awfully
ill lately and some of these products have been particuarly beneficial to the healing process. Enjoy!

Listerine Total Care Antibacterial Mouthwash
I reckon I have been pretty lucky when it comes to my teeth. They are far from perfect, however
I have been pretty fortunate not have gotten any cavities. That was unti last month when I was
brushing and thought it's felt quite a bit sensitive in one particular area of my mouth. On closer
inspection to my horror I spotted a hole! Noooooo! I am so good with my brushing, flossing and
mouth rinsing! All these years I have avoided having to be drilled into. Now I guess my sweet tooth
has withstood all it can. Bugger! Anyhow, my point is this mouthwash has been great since it is
antibacterial, it has been keeping my mouth super germ free and feeling, smelling and feeling much
better! This stuff is the bomb dot com - get it! :D

Recently I have been tripping it to the Gold Coast to get my hair highlighted to freshen and brighten
up my dull, boring old same, same, dark brown hair which I LOVE. But, it is feeling much dryer than
it used to so I have pulled this old lover out of my draws again to fix the problem. It is brilliant! I
have been savering it, but now I am just using it up and ah, it is just like gold! My hair feels amazing
all over again! (Review!)

I have so many different foundations which I pretty much change up what I apply on a daily basis
because it's, well, fun! This particular product is much different to most of my other foundations as
it is in a compact and the whole formulation in general is much different than my normal stuff so it
has been fun to use something new and different as 90% of my other foundations are in bottles or
tubes. Plus this has a handy mirror in it which has saved me on multiple occasions! (Review!)

Scunci have the best most broad range of hair accessories, like ever! You can find anything and
everything you want in their range and these claw clips have been my go to for when I am showering
and don't want to wet my hair as well as after I have washed and just want it put up and out of the
way. These are strong enough to hold all of my hair in one place securely and they looks super nice
too. I am especially fond of the golden looking one!

I have noticed lately the skin in between my chest above my breasts and under my neck has been
feeling less than smooth and like it really needed a good exfoliation! So I have been trialling this
sweet orange scented scrub for a while now (full review is in the works!) and it feels so refeshing
I find myself scrubbing all the way up to my face just so can get more of the scent! It feels so good
and the difference it makes it amazing! I love to use this on my feet and calves as well because it
does a great job at getting rid of ingrown hairs and dead skin build up without leaving my skin dry.

I just recently reviewed this as I have most of these products and they make my favs not only
because they are the products I have been using the most but because they are so easy to fall in love
with! This product smells so delicious and makes your skin feel like a brand new baby!

I LOVE this! In the past my cuticles have either been neglected or harshly groomed. I am terrible
at it! This product makes the job so easy and much gentler whilst still getting the job done! Now I
never skip this step when I do my nails because it is just so easy and makes they overall look so much
better, you can really tell the difference!

This is an amazing multi use product which I highly recommend! I am surprised it isn't more well
known because since I have been using I don't know how I ever lived without it! Deeply moisturises,
and repairs super dry, itchy skin. Can be used to reduce age and sun spots, bites, stings, chaffing and
more! Worth looking into!

Oh, there is nothing like a good old fashioned classic red go to nail polish! This one from OPI's
'Fifty Shades Of Grey' collection is deeper in colour than OPI's famous 'Red' and in my opinion
looks much more stiking! It has a beautiful shiny finish and lasts a good few days before chipping.

I have been really into berry lip colours since the cool weather hit and this one from Australis is
super glossy and makes your lips look bigger, as least to me! I love it! The shade is so intense and
really brightens up your whole face! I find myself using this either on it's own or a dab a bit of it
over whatever I have on to add a bit of extra shine and berry hue. :)

OVI Hydration in 'Berry'
Even though this isn't technically a beauty favourite, I feel like in a way it really is as it helps the
beauty shine on the outside by fueling it from the inside! This not only tastes amazing, this cool
green tea is full of antioxidants which has been so good at making me feel more myself lately
as me and the kids have been feeling run down and hellishly sick lately.
Quite literally in a face in the bucket butt in the bowl kinda way! Yukko! :(

Do we share any of the same favs?

MARCH FAVS

~  MARCH FAVOURITES!  ~

So many new goodies landed on my desk this month in addition to a bunch of newbies I purchased!
It was one super busy month both personally and professionally and I fear (in a good way) that it is
only going to get even busier! I am looking forward to the rest of 2015 and cannot wait to look back
on it all once this year comes to an end. I am sure it will continue to no doubt fly by!

I hope you'll continue to read as I share with you some products I am loving and recommend if you
feel like a bit of retail therapy or online indulgence! :)

Argan+ Super Creamy Body Wash
Not only does this smell subtle, yet creamy and yummy, it feels like a velvet, bubbly dream on your
skin. I have been absolutely loving this and the gold and turquoise tube, omg, LOVE!

Coast To Coast Ultra Gentle Facial Polish
I can't enough of scrubs and exfoliators. I just enjoy using them so much as they always leave me
skin feeling smooth and renewed by removing all of the build up of dead skin. This one is my
current love. Check out my full demo and review in the video here!

Guess Dare Perfume
Guess is such a classic, timeless brand and their perfumes always delight the senses. The new release
smells beautifully floral but isn't overpowering at all. I love the baby pink shade and the feminine
and girlie scent lasts the whole day. (Buy!)

Australian Bush Flower Essences Face Wash Serum
Facial Wash Serum's are new to me, but I have been loving this! It smells so natural (because
it is) and completely relaxes me and takes me right back to nature.

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flushed Blush in 'Candy Glow'
Beyond cute, this blush is 100% completely me! I am loving gold accents at the moment, weather
it's in make-up packaging or decor, it is my new thing. This 3 toned beauty is to die for!
Check it out in my recent haul video here!

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Bronzer Quad
Why on earth I have never purchased anything from Physicians Formula before is beyond me!
Their products are BEAUTIFUL! Omg, their packaging (I am all about cuteness!) is gorgeous!
I recently picked this baby up for less than half price and I am so glad I did! The shades give you
the most perfect sun kissed, stunning glow! Highly, highly recommend this! Just about everything
else from them is currently on my wish list! (Buy!)

TanOrganic Bronzing Powder Duo
Completely matte chocolate brown on one half and a medium shimmery shade on the other.
Everything you need to get through the Winter this will keep you looking sun kissed and glowing.
If you like the sound of this and would like the chance to win one then make sure to enter my
GIVEAWAY by watching my video demo and review here! (Good Luck!)

OPI Nail Lacquer in 'Suzi Shops & Island Hops'
The perfect baby pink! I love this kind of shade for everyday wear. It's girlie and feminine and looks
amazing on, especially with lightly (fake) tanned skin. It really makes the colour pop and look bold.
Just gorgeous, I am totally chugging through this bottle! (Buy!)

Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in 'Fuchsia Desire'
This new range from Maybelline seems to be everybody's favourite lately! I caved and purchased
a classic hot pink which is a shade I wear a lot. I don't usually show much interest in lip pencils,
however this on is much bolder in colour than I expected and the formula glides on like a dream!
Pleasantly surprised with this product! (Buy!)

All over red rover!

SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES

~ September Favourites! ~

Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk
With it already hitting up to 30 degrees most days here in Qld,
hiding in my jeans is no longer a comfortable option, so the shorts and
skirts are in and my bare legs have been gradually getting a makeover!

Scunci Expandable Headbands
I've never seen this style of headband before.
I love how handy these are to have in your pocket, handbag,
car, etc ready at a moments notice without having to stress about
having a large on snapping. These fold up small and compact so easily!

Sukin Treatment Oil
This has done wonders on some of my acne scaring on my face.
I also like to use this to help with my stretched out gut from having
two beautiful bundles of joy whom I adore, the skin all over my torso,
however sure ain't how it used to be!

Rediscovered old, old favourite!
I'd completely forgotten I had this, but upon sorting
through my beauty products into sections, (ie, all makeup removers
together!) I begun using this all over again and have no idea why I ever
stopped. I love the foam texture, it's awesome!

Velvet Goats Milk Beauty Bar
A newly discovered product this month, goats milk has
me embracing soap in the shower again! Makes my skin feel
lovely and soft. I've been totally into this using it everyday!

Maybelline Colorshow Street Artist Top Coat in White Splatter
A surprise gift bought home from hubby recently,
I instantly feel in love with this the moment I laid eyes on it!
The colour and mixed mash of different textures is so pretty
and creates an awesome effect on your nails.

OPI Nail Lacquer in Hey Baby
Recently received this in my The Parcel subscription box.
Such a signature shade of mine. (Magenta pink) I can't seem to
shake it. After finding space for this on my polish rack, it was obvious
and a little eye opening to me to realize over half of all of my OPI's
are some shade of pink! What can I say? I'm a girlie girl! :)
